"you start to notice them, and they start to notice you"... love it!
I found one of these for the first time today!
oh, I'm hoping to find some this week in Washington. I also ordered some spores in the Spring and have been cultivating those here in case I can't find any in the wild this Autumn.
Five years on this is more relevant than ever
4:28 "this might be one of those things that helps save our planet if we get into a major epidemic... some kind of ecological warfare breaks out... or some kind of epidemic happens"
Always amazing source of information, thank you Yarrow!
One of Your verybest uploads here, Willard!!!
Blessings and Abundance upon You and Your LovedOnes!!!
My favorite looking mushroom for some reason LOL! The colours are just amazing & somehow it just gives off an ora of Specialness :-)
Elegance 🌈🌞
4:30 great insight into 2020
Easily the most informative reishi video I've found. The info that they like hemlock trees is especially useful. Many thanks, Herbal Jedi.
You are full of good energy. Love it.
Mouth watering
lovely!
It's December and I just found a nice big one near Mission BC. Must of been a late one to emerge as it was still soft, a beautiful red colour and smelled great. So I harvested it and made a decoction. I got that almost high feeling you described in the video so I'm assuming there was still some good medicine locked with in.
I need to find these, and turkey tail, thanks for this video , may save my life and others in my life. I hope i find some soon. love n peace
You make the best videos. Thank you
+Jane Russell Thanks for the support. My Friend Shane Phillip at www.islandsoulfilms.com does all my videoing and editing that help make these videos so fun and engaging.

watching this during a pandemic! Just found a giant oregonense and wondering what to do with - it is massive
Awesome videos. They are all well done. Squirrel in the video around 4:44 running down the log, had to laugh. Truly connected with nature! Had to share that.
Fascinating.
I agree he's really smart and fun!
I love your channel. I look forward to your showing us more about making the tingture and teas and storage. Also I'm wondering how much Is safe to use?
Love it! :) love from Oregon!
🤜🏻👍🤛🏻♡♡♡
Wonderful! Can you show us how to make a dual extract. I buy all my supplies from Harmonic Arts but I am a true do it your selfer or hands on type. I have appreciated your videos and your website. Thank you so much for generously sharing.
Always loved shrooms
Great information and personality. Thx.
I love the intro song. Is there a full version I could hear somewhere?
Just started my first dual extraction Reishi tincture.
Just amazing thank you so much
I have a freeze dryer which leaves the pores of plants open versus closed when dehydrated. This preserves a lot more of the flavors, proteins etc than when dehydrated. I am wondering if this would be a great way to preserve these or would the potency be too much?
thanks dude
I love your stuff :) well done sir
Amazing Thank YoU!
Thank you !
I have been looking for a long time . This year I have found two locations
They get huge I had no idea they get this big
It’s mid November but it has been a perfect year for the fungi types
Here on Quadra Island
The video is very well done good job
just wondering, im looking for a section of woods to find this in on vancouver island. never been lucky enough to find one of these
dry it, grind it and mix with coffee or sprinkle on pasta like truffle essence...also can burn it for incense after you extract for tinctures
Would love to have some of that. In CO we have G.applanatum but I’m not sure if it compares
Can organic store bought reishi mushrooms be made into a tincture or just use for tea?
do these grow in the east coast?
We have Ganoderma Sessile in Arkansas .
Hey,
I found a mushroom that looks like a Reid reishi but it is not shiny. It was growing on the ground beneath some bushes where I live.
If it is not reishi, what else could it be? I don't want to get sick and die if I eat it.
Thanks!
I live in the pnw and ive found similar mushroom I thought they were reishi but unsure they also look like conchs is there a way I can tell for sure?
you mentioned your father in this video and his book. Who is he?
Is this up in BC, Cnada?
I live in BC and it's way to pricey in North America. I ordered it from Alibaba. They ship it from China. Half a KG for 30 bucks.
What forest you find them?
I've picked what seem to be very healthy specimens in mid Nov. in Seattle area. Or at least seem to be much fresher than last mushroom in video. Are you sure about latest harvesting time being Aug- Sept? Also do you have any idea how long can store dry? Thanks so much for great videos and energy...probably watched at least 50 already and looking forward to the rest.
Can I ask how you stored them and how did you use? We just got some last week.We dried them and making a tincture.
🤔 pandemic..... little did you know. Maybe we could have used some Reish 😃i
Just curious but what’s the difference between drying out the fresh reishi mushroom when you cut it into slices vs an already dried out mature reishi mushroom? Aren’t they both dried out in the end?
If you are referring to the last year's dried ones on the tree, yes both are dried, though the old ones not that viable anymore as their chemistry has changed and their medicinal qualities are lower.
If that is all you could find, you may want to try them, provided they have not got any secondary mold or fungus growth on them.
Herbal Jedi yes! sorry my question wasn’t worded too clearly. Thank you for responding!! 🙂
It’s safe to eat that raw??
Some Kind of pandemic happens.
7 years later...
I caught that too!!
If you must cook mushrooms in order to obtain the nutrients, how is is you can eat the raw reishi and get "high"?
We're up in BC Canada.I realize that yesterday we saw a few of those. Not positive because they were much darker then what I see on the video.
You said it then :3
I have ganoderma at home
Hii
ROFL you named your daughter based on a mushroom. I'ma do the same thing
L
please, don't eat mushrooms raw or give people the impression they should. peace.
