- The Pokemon anime is ending, Ash is leaving Pokemon, what's happening? This is probably the most common question I get regarding my pokemon anime and pokemon journeys content. I explain how and why the pokemon anime might end and if Ash truly leaves the pokemon tv show. Although I hope we see Ash in pokemon scarlet and violet so he can travel the paldea region.

Ash ketchum and pikachu are like the mascots of pokemon ohh man it's really not gonna be same without them and i would like to see ash ketchum getting more pokemon orginally he was supposed to get like a gyarados and rhyhorn just like that one episode that aired only in Japan and i stills remember when i was 11 going on 12 in 2001 i once had a dream were he got a ursaing from a pokemon trainer in a cloak who's face was not shown and ill never forget that one dream i just turned 33 in September and I still remember that dream i had
They do say that all good things must come to an end but in this case Journeys overall isn't good so Paldea would be perfect to end

I hope that Ash’s Master victory marks the end of the show. Moving on without him would rob this anime of a perfect ending and give these animators a well-deserved break.
seriously almost all humans on the planet earth get that all pokemon anime dubs are the same as the japan dub footage just with different name for the humans and pokemons and with the Japan text and symble and words edited off of building and signs before being aired out side of Japan six months later on both movies and mini movies like pikachu ghost carnival and pikachu and pichu mini movie and the episodes
To be fair I think that people think that they don’t really care about this tournament they only care about the league when Ash has got 8 gym badges and then finally won a clean league but that might never happen he might win this tournament and then go on with Scarlet&Violet and then he lose there again but I think it’s the end of Ash and that likely his son/daughter will continue with his Pikachu

I think ash will stay in the anime because ash is like the mascot for Pokémon and getting rid of him is like getting rid a of Mickey Mouse from Disney I think goh will stay and travel with ash

At this point, its a see to believe matter with Ash therefore it’s clear that’s he’s not going ANYWHERE!!!
Tbh I can’t see how removing Ash from the Main anime has a protagonist will cause major harm to the community given that there’s a grow audience in the community wanting something different then Ash.

Ash is getting smoked by Leon. maybe not as bad as Diantha, but it's looking like it won't be close. i reckon the anime series will focus on ash training certain aspects that he was weaker in during his master's 8 competition. I do hope that in the Paldea region, the elite 4 and other very strong trainers recognize ash's fame as the #2 trainer in the world and give him ways to combat leon for the following year's masters 8 tourney, where ash will again reach the final, and then win.
I actually like Goh being in the anime. He brings a different style of journey that will be more intense considering Gary will now be in more episodes and they are chasing after mew. we saw how intense certain missions were, and I am sure there are a lot more to come.

I have the same opinion. They need to make some changes otherwise it will become really stagnant, repetitive, and boring. We have already seen this in Pokemon Journeys with the episodes that didn't focus on any major story arc.

i think that ash is going to stay in the anime traveling to scarlet and violet and even some how go to the past into the timeline of pokemon legends arceus with yes the plot if legends arceus taking place. And when the villagers see ash they think he’s a time traveler but ash and go go powe- i mean go (idk how to spell his name) will make friends with the main character of the legends aceus game.

I think they are continuing journeys
I don't think the Pokémon anime will end because the anime promotes the games and the games promote the anime. If they do that they are losing customers and increasing the chance of the Pokémon games becoming unpopular. The anime is like the logs to the fire. The fire will keep burning as long as it is fueled but eventually there won't be any logs left to fuel the fire. If they stop the anime, they are essentially getting rid of the logs which are fueling the fire. And before you ask yes I do know that the anime costs money to make in aware of that. But the anime is still doing well. It's like the logs for the fire again. The logs cost money or a cost of lighting the fire is that it will produce CO2 but you are getting the warmth from the fire in return. I think I've talked about this enough.

I think Ash loosing to Leon would be a narrative mistake After losing so many leagues I think Ash deserve that victory and please don't attack me in the comments is just my opinion.

Hear me out. I think Ash/Satoshi will stay in the anime up until the creator and co-creator of Pokemon pass away sometime during the 21st century. The original creators will turn in their 70s and 80s by the time the 2030s and 2040s come around, the same age as my parents from 1965 onwards.

I kinda have a theory of how Ash can stay in the anime and go back to the old formula (gyms and regional league) and how they could make the scarlet and violet anime (if they will):
During the battle, before or after ash facing leon, a portal opens in front of their eyes and Professor Turo (The paldea region professor) appears and says that he needs help. Turns out Chairman rose somehow stole the object uses to free Eternatus and wants revenge on the galar region, and is destroying it in the future. Ash, leon and goh agree to help and them and professor turo enter inside a machine and travel to the future to save the galar. When they find the entire region in flames and a dark aura emiting from the skies, they need to fight eternatus and chairman rose to save galar. Ash sends out his pokemon but they are all defeated by chairman rose and his pokemon, whi grew much stronger since the last fight with ash. Then Ash sends out Pikachu, who Gigantamaxes because of the dynamax energy. Leon and Goh send out also Charizard, Rillaboom, Inteleon and Cinderace to help. Chairman Rose has now gone crazy and as a desperate attempt to protect Eternatus he dynamaxes all his pokemon to battle, and so begins a duel between turo, ash, leon and goh and chairman Rose. Rose loses, but the entire time his plan was just do distract them, so Eternatus could enter his most powerful form. Eternatus then becomes enormous and his power is too much to control, so he starts to destroy everything around him. But when they think that they lost, a portal opens and a machine comes out of it and Professor Sada and the other master 8 xhampions come out of it. Then it would be an epic battle that would end with Eternatus on the ground and professor sadas machine destroyed But then Rose makes a confetion: That Eternatus can come back to life at anytime, because the main powerplant that gives Eternatus his power has been charging power since the day he disapeared and that it was just a mather of time until Eternatus energy recharges again. Professor Turo tells everyone that the only way of saving Galar is destroying the powerplant by going back in time to the time when rose started to build it. The only problem is that one of the machines is destroyed and there wasnt enough power to make the time travel to the past and to the present (lets say that the machine uses a different type of electricity than the one used regularly). Then Professor Sada says that they can call the legendary pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon to help them and take everyone to the present time, leaving the mission to save the region to the professors. So Sada calls them (maybe with a flute or something) and they appear. Sada tells everyone to ride the back of the legendaries and go. Meanwhile, Turo tells ash that Pikachu is the only one with the right electricity to make the machine work and time travel, but could only take in the maximum 3 people and one pokemon (being pikachu ofc). Leon offers to go with them and help, but Ash wants to go himself because pikachu is his pokemon. But then turo tells ash that if they go they wont make it back to the present without killing pikachu because of all the energy taken from him. Ash needs to make a difficult choice now: Return to the present with his friends but risk the future of Galar/Let Leon go with Turo and Sada and never seeing Pikachu again/Go with turo and sada to save galar but never seeing his friends anymore. Ash is put against the most difficult choice ever, but he decides to go with pikachu, his best friend and all time partner. Then there is an emotional moment where ash says goodbye to goh, leon and all the other champions, and then his pokemon (gengar, dragonite, sirfetch, lucario and dracovish), and while crying he tells leon/goh to please take care of them.
Ash, pikahu, turo and sada go into the machine while they see the others being brought back to the present by the legendaries. Ash thinks what could have happened, he could have won and become the strongest trainer i the world, but decided to stay with his best friend to save thousands of people.
Pikachu then uses his energy to power up the machine to time travel into the day chairman rose built the machine. Ash then learns that professor turo and sada are professors in the paldea region, and tell ash about the legendary pokemon koraidon and miraidon.
When they arrive at the past, they look for rose, find him and then they defeat him, but cause a process of reverse destruction (while the machine would powerup the pokemon strenght, the reverse would make them lose strenght, lower theor levels ingame language). They run to the machine just in time to get hit by a reverse energy blast that hits Pikachu. Ash then hugs pikachu because he wants pikachu to be strong to take them back. Pikachu then looks at ash and uses the rest of his power to make the group travel to the future.
The machinhen stops working and when they look outside ash is surprised to see his house. His mom greets him and thats when ash realizes that he travelled to the day before he went to the cerise labs. Professor oak greets turo and turo tells him what happened in the other timeline. Delia and oak are shocked to hear that. Pikachu is very weak and after some tests oak tells ash that the reverse explosion made pikachu lower his strenght by a lot, and that pikachu is very weak because of the overload.
Ash stays in kanto for afew days until professor oak recieves a call from turo, that tells him that as a way to try to compensate on ash for what happened he says that he has every pleasure in inviting ash to come to the paldea region to become stronger and see new pokemon.
Ash is still sad about what happened, but he looks at pikachu, who is now ok (from the effort of time travelling, his level is still affected) and realizes that if one day he wants to battle leon he needs to become stronger, in this case in a new region, Paldea. And so ash journey can conrinue.
Sorry for writing the bible i just wanted to write my theory. But if you have read it to the end please tell me what you think of it.

electric shoulder ponygon only aired in Japan and it was Ash Ketchum pikachu that destroyed those missiles that lead two the episode being banned and forbidden from being aired out side of Japan Ash Ketchum pikachu destroying those missiles that caused the seizures
