This video maybe 7 months ago but you just saved me from chucking my newly bought grinder in the garbage. After Watching your tutorial, it was a complete success and I can now use my grinder. I had the lock on backwards and it was stuck. The little booklet didn’t help. I thought it was a loss but you saved the day. Thank you thank you.
Nope. I have a DeWalt with a sanding disk set up on it. Spindle lock barely catches so i put it in a vice and tried the hammer and pin technique. Beat on it so hard it tore the retaining ring but didnt loosen it.
ha a large original pair of vice grips have always worked for me. id like to see one on how i get my three inch core bit threaded off the shaft. its in there good!
I zenned it. When this issue came up a few hours ago, I speed read a barrage of videos and realized they just weren't doing it for me. Some of the suggestions were ludicrously over elaborate or unnecessarily aggressive. So I walked away and waited for my algorithms to just find the video for me. Et voila! Best answer to the problem and so clearly demonstrated. Thanks! You're a king!

Glad I could help
what kind of tool did you use to loosen the grinder without the key? Did you call it punch?
@@ktp0913 Yea its a standard Nail Punch
I HATE the milwaukee lock it only locks one way and it tightens more!!
Even taking the batteries out of a milwaukee tool narks me!
Thank you my friend you saved the day
❤
