I just followed this from begining to end and managed to repair my phone. But one small step you may have missed, when reattachng the battery, you missed the part where you attach the power cord from battery to motherboard. I missed it too only to later realize its the reason phone never turned on, but fixed it and now phone is great! Thanks!
Finally a decent video on this specific model. My only criticism is that the phone wasn't always totally in the video, but this should be good enough to get me through replacing the screen. Thanks!
Nice but the amount of involvement tells me that. $40 tp $60 for a shop guy to do this from start to finish is worth me relaxing, never i2sing heat gun, never touching motherboard and never using sharp blade and plastic tools
@@SanJoe-te3edthere's several connection pins that are fragile and will bent or break off if you don't carefully handle it. You want the least amount of dust/dirt getting on it especially in the camera lens. What it means is to be extra careful and to try and touch the sides as much as possible and touch the circuit board as little as you can
It's part of the job dude what you expect it all to be easy as pie no brother it's a process you don't just take it apart and then put it back together relaxing when it's clearly an easy job if you have been doing it for years and proper schooling it doesn't look easy and relaxing to you cause you didn't go to school for to it learned how the principles work once you damage a ribbon or something's not placed right on any mother board you have to start from scratch all over again.
Just fixed mine; screen with frame and battery. So many pieces to remove but overall its really easy. Just missing one of the ribbon cables but doesn't seem to be affecting anything without it
Thank you for taking your time to explain, could you please tell me what kind of screwdriver you use to take out the screws? I can’t seem to remove mine with these little teeny ones that came with the kit. And where I can buy that screwdriver respectfully.
Yea ill just deal with unfortunately cracked screen, thats completely to much of a hassle to fix. I can do it but im not sitting there and completly gutting my phone to fix a couple cracks
great video my friend, I successfully just installed my screen and it turned out wonderful with no issues. Thanks

Do you have link for the replacement finger print flex?? I couldn't find one on Amazon or Ebay..........
@@jefflbicheck eBay for "xt2313 fingerprint flex" seeing a handful of sellers. Pretty much every component for this phone is on-market now.
All you gotta know is to start from the back
Just make sure to apply heat or alcohol to take the ribbon cables off without ripping them since they have adhesive

What exactly do you mean by "never touch mother board and fingerprint board"?

Star screwdriver
Is replacement for a moto g power 2023 the same
That's way too much effort I'd rather pay somebody to do it.
Motorola does not solder the antenna connections good on motherboard. Always have one come off when disconnecting connector.
Trying this repair and planning the assembly. Would be good to use adhesive,....11:00.... for the button plate to display, than the back cover.
what is the liquid you put
99% alcohol
