You would have to open your phone 345 times a day for a year to reach 126k folds. Normal people open their phones around 20-50 times a day. At 50 times a day it would take almost 7 years to break the screen on the Razr. Even at 100 times it would take almost 3.5 years. Most people upgrade their phones every two years anyway. Samsung always makes good products and I would not expect anything less from them.
Keep in mind with the Razr+ you have no reason to open the phone 20-50 times a day. The majority of the times I look at my phone it's for something that the front screen can do perfectly fine.
well if you fold-unfold it continuously, it will create heat and will most likely break quicker than usual daily usage. one good example, try doing it with a wire.
Wire or any other metal doesn't break simply because you bend it over and over repeatedly in quick Succession. It will break at the same amount of bends regardless of how close or far apart the bends occur. Anytime something is bent it has both tension and compressive forces applied which generates some amount of heat(energy in always generates heat out) but i do believe doing this test in a short time frame will heat up the screen more so then normally would occur which could have an impact on the test and is something that should have been taken into account. But this video is just a general indicator of what to expect. So a good 2-3 years should be expected out of the device.
That is the reason why samsung doesn't really rush to introduce a completely flat inner foldable display that closes completely with zero gap like other players in the market...they are a big company with huge R&D money to know the compromises users would experience if the tech are still not perfectly tuned to overcome the existing problems with foldable designs...when other companies rush for profit money samsung still focuses on investing money perfecting the tech, hence the hefty price tag.
Yeah, you wouldn't want to rush something foldadble with a hefty price tag to market that wasn't ready, like the first Galaxy Fold or something drastic like that... lol. Nothing wrong with Samsung, but they are nowhere near some kind of saint in the marketplace. They've had their share of major release blunders. Screens, hinges, batteries, you name it.
I work as a landscaper and I love that you make sure to test dirt/sand and specifically dirty water. I work around messy job sites every day and it is my main concern
I love my RAZR and will be extra careful with it. It lives in a case and I don't play in a sandbox or take it in water. Still your test is a reminder to take extra care and to keep it clean. My Flip 3 screen never failed but the screen protector had to be replaced twice. It would be great if all flipping phones kept track of how many folds you have on your phone. There's an idea for an app.
@@GeordieHalma I have had the Flip 3 for three years and although I had screen issues twice I still enjoyed it. I love the form factor. I have had many phones including Samsungs, Motos all the way back to the brick phones. I had Note 1,2,4 and 5. The reviews for the new RAZR + were very positive from reviewers I trust. I was going to order the Flip 5 but projected price in the US phone was $1000 for 128 Gigs, with no DEX. I contacted Samsung many times to find out more details. They NEVER ANSWERED ME. Moto was starting with 256 gig, and their version of Dex. I was also offered $1000 trade in for the Razr at my Carrier. So I'm up for 24 months of this phone and I believe it will be fine as I take care of my phones. Growing up in the late fifties and sixties , high tech was my transistor radio. Bottom, line is I like the Flip phones including Samsung. They lost my business because they didn't respond to my questions.😂
I had zero issues with my Flip 3 for over a year. When I got the flip 4, it broke 4 times in 6 months. Three of the times was from the hinge. So now I'm debating going to the Flip 5 and hoping its fixed or switching to the Moto Razr. Or sticking with my Pixel 7 Pro
People are overlooking the fact that you absolutely have to flip the samsung phone to get any serious usage out of it. Motorola, you can do almost anything you want on the front screen. I think it even runs nova launcher. So you would not have to flip it nearly as often. Samsung is stopping really stingy and only letting you use widgets
@GeordieHalma But the flip five doesn't even let you use the front Screen for anything except widgets. You absolutely have to open the phone to do anything with it. And there is no desktop mode. The motorola to me is the Superior option because you don't even need to open the phone to use it however you want. You could run A third party launcher on the front screen if you wanted to. To be clear, i'm not going to buy either of them. But if I had to choose one , the motorola is the more compelling option because of the front screen. Samsung only letting you use widgets on front is suspicious. I suspect in flip 6 they will let you do anything to make flip 5 owners feel compelled to upgrade again
Glad you supported my hunch in going samsung, the dust issue is the biggest for me, i work in a welding shop and that was my biggest concern was dust in the hinge, but my zflip 4 has gone through way more than i have expected lol
I have a Motorola RAZR 40 that I’ve had for a year, and it still works efficiently without any cracks or issues with the screen, despite having fallen multiple times. However, in the video, it's very normal for the screen to malfunction because repeatedly opening and closing the screen generates heat. Take the example of a piece of plastic; if you bend it multiple times, it gets hot and then breaks. The phone is not designed to be opened 100 times in a few minutes-this is an illogical test.
@@Scroolewseget the case! Because it's small and slippery I keep dropping mine and it has multiple cracks all over the outside of it. I've even cut my hand on the glass a couple times, just slightly, not bad. I wish I had gotten a case on it right away. The screen has never cracked, just the outer cases a mess.
You need to test this again with a unit that doesn't have dust under the screen. Not sure why you bothered putting in the man hours to a test scenario where both phones weren't in the same state.
They were subjected to the same test conditions. The fact that the Motorola took in dust and broke is kind of the point here - yes, the Samsung didn't have dust jammed in the screen, but that's because it did a better job protecting the screen from dust in the first place. If Motorola wants to do better here they should properly seal their hinge.
@@bosstowndynamics5488 That's not the problem. The problem is that they are trying to verify the 400,000 folds and then introducing new variables partway through the test. We can infer that the Samsung has the better built hinge and is more resistant to dust but we cannot determine by how much. Both comparatively and exclusively. This is all to say it is a useful test but not a very scientific test.
I would say get whichever phone you like better. I just dont see many people having issues with the hinges on either phone. The screen is what's going to give you the most grief. If you get any kind of grit the size of sand or bigger and shut the phone, the screen will be lucky to survive. I had a zflip 2 and i had to have samsung replace the screen for this very reason. I did preorder the z flip 5,with no gap now, just hoping it does not end the same as my last z flip.
So, I think you could follow the tests and take a motorola ultra and start the test again without the dust test, this could verify or not the screen problem
Yes I was very annoyed when I got halfway and they said they did a dust test in the middle of the folding test. Now the information is meaningless. Either dust up a brand new one before you fold or don't add dust at all when you fold. Anything else and the results really dont mean anything.
Flip 5 hinges frame got broken after only one month of normal use and when we took it to get repaired they charged us usd150 and claimed that it was due to mis use. And when i asked them for the proof of mis use (no scratches no dings no dents) they replied that samsung already tested these fones and this didnt happen to their test so we must have mis used it. This is the 4th folding fone from samsung that i had an issue with so now shifted to iphone
I've had both versions of these flip phones. One Samsung Z flip 3, nd two z-flip 4's and most recently a Motorola Razr 23+. All 4 phones failed at the crease on the LCD within 1 year (10 months, 6 months, 2 days and 7 months for the Motorola. The screen's are not designed to handle being folded. They (both companies) try to blame it on user eorror, or say that the hinge was damaged and they won't replace nor honor their warrantee. It's unfortunate. There really needs to be a class action lawsuit.
Very impressive experiment and I am super dope to get Samsung Galaxy fold. :O Sure Razer looks great but I do not think my country will have proper maintenance service for broken hinge for awhile. :S Probably Fold 5 will be best choice for foldable mobile for now. BIG applaud for your crew members and thank you for doing such test, it is super helpful for customers.
Unfortunately, we're still dealing with a sample size of 1. So it's really hard to know if this stuff would be replicated in real life usage for most people. Even with the rigorous testing, the sample size is so small that it's hard to know how much of it could be Related to unit variance.
Ya, but he repeated this test with 3 different generations with similar results of 400k+ and with hundreds of thousands of phones with no issues at all, considering the total sold foldables to have exceeded million, I'd say it's pretty durable
I started to have phantom touches where the screen folds. I believe the screen protector started to delaminate at the fold. I bought the phone in July. Luckily I had insurance through T-Mobile and they replaced it. The hinge had also become loose, and noisy.
I believe that the Motorola can last much longer then it did in the real test because in the real world You're not going to be folding your Motorola non-stop for a week straight and it can generate heat in the hinge because of friction from opening and closing it 24/7 and you won't have to open it as much as the z flip 5 since you pretty much have the entire phone on the cover display
Did they took off the magnet on the corner of the zflip5? I have the flip3 and work with grinder and metal scalesaw, and all the metal dust and chip go in the four corners of the phones. If i dont remove it before closing the phone, it break my screen...
December 23, 2024. I bought the razr 40 ultra in december 2023 and it runs great. It's my main phone and I've used it without worries. I've droped it with open screen and closed screen (straight on hard floor, cement, etc) and luckily didn't break anything. Everything is working great like the first day ❤ i mean, i don't know how much it'll last, but I'm pretty happy it's still alive 😂
400,000 is opening and closing the phone 548 times per day, every day, for two years. Imagine buying a phone and opening and closing it 548 times per day.
the sscreen wont handle that much folds tho since the dust the dirt the fingernails and the pressure on the screen is also what makes it fail not the opening and closing
I've had my Motorola RAZR 2019 since the spring of 2020...no issues with the hindge...at night I store it in a gps case open.. my only issue is the Google software.
Phone sales are slowing down, flipping phones is the perfect solution to make sure your average customer will for sure replace their phone, they want it or not, every 2 years
Okay, easy solution - only fold it when you need to put it in a pocket or have it upright for taking pics or something. Otherwise use it like a normal rectangle. 🤷🏼♀️ Just because it folds doesn't mean you gotta fold it constantly. There arent aby rules to it just options which is more than you can say for most standard phones.
I ordered the Razr 2024 yesterday and should have it next week I guess, what is the warranty on this phone and do you think it wise to keep a spare phone for just in case, just in case I have to send the phone for hinge repair, screen replacement, screen protector replacement etc...
I have fold4 as a secondary phone. Wouldn't say I open it too often, but yesterday I notice a barely seen fine red-blue(green) lines on a crease. Do you have any idea what it can be? I'm really confused. I love folds and flips, but i worry a bit about this thing
so I recently discovered I am a fool, Have you tried just taking the inner screen protector off and simply buying a new one to put in it once you verify that fixed it? Yeah thought my fold was going bad until I saw a quick video showing how to replace it and that only the fold one was like "dont touch that" I thought we were not allowed to remove it without breaking the screan lol
i love the z fold 3 and 4 that I purchased but anyone want to guess why i had to buy the 4 in the first place? You bet ya...after a ton of folds it creates this weird light moisture bubble in the center. I am tempted to try and get the plastic for the fold replaced but then I get how much more use from it? of course the outside works well but I paid the money for what is on the unfolded side and open it more times than I care to count daily. I am done with folding phones for a while after this until durability improves because you can have a really nice candy bar and a brand new premium tablet every year with the amt being spent on replacing the fold. I need to revert back to the Note.
What you also forget is during normal use there are always extreme fine dust in pockets etc and what would happen then if you fold your phone 170k times and more? I don't believe that those tests are comparable to the real user usage...
Seems to me that folding a phone that fast for that long is not a good representation of opening a phone 100 times a day for however long. It would be creating some heat possibly and or extra stress on the phone. I would think opening a phone under normal usage would be less taxing on the phone and it would last longer.
I've been using Samsung phones ever since I switched from an iPhone 7, and I have absolutely no regrets about the product's quality. I've dropped my Z Flip 3 several times, and it's still sturdy. In contrast, when I dropped an iPhone once, its screen glass shattered. iPhones and Motorola phones seem to be popular mainly due to the influence of the North American market's sheer size. But as someone who prioritizes efficiency and reliability, Samsung phones consistently remain my top choice. Sony phones are also commendable.
Complete opposite from my experience 😅 I dropped my S20 once and the screen just shattered to pieces; plus I couldn't stand that the battery life would only last me 4 hours with heavy use. This was way back when the phone was less than a year old (~10 months). I switched to an iPhone 12 Pro, and I've been using it for the past 2 years with no problems. I drop it almost weekly and have never had scratches or breaks in the glass. Given I used tempered glass screen protectors on both phones. 🤔
@@LouiiDeeSamsung uses Gorilla Glass on all their phones' screens (not sure about budget ones mind, but definitely the flagships). IMHO Corning dropped the ball on their first generation of Gorilla Glass Victus, because my Note 9 survived me tripping over and accidentally pile driving it screen first into a pointy rock, but my Note 20 Ultra screen has little scuffs all over it from less abusive treatment (although I still drop it a lot, the screen has never had a direct high force impact). Apple meanwhile made a big deal over using their own design for the screen, which I suspect is part of the reason that, broadly, Samsung screens do seem to handle impacts better overall even if early Victus screens were an exception to that rule. (Fwiw I *don't* use any screen protector on any of my phones because these days Gorilla Glass is usually going to handle scratches phenomenally better than a cheap sheet of tempered glass, again early Victus screens being an exception, inherently fits better and I'm extremely sceptical of any kind of impact benefit from a thin sheet of very fragile cheap tempered glass loosely stuck on the phone)

I had expressed my thoughts about the Razr right after testing it, mentioning that the hinge didn't feel as smooth as I hoped. However, some people were quick to disagree with me. I believe their reaction might have been due to a few reasons: perhaps they were hoping to enjoy their purchase from Motorola and didn't want to admit any shortcomings, or they were just too eager to have the latest device and didn't want to wait for the King of flip phones AKA the Z Flip 5. It's also possible that they were outside the return policy for the Razr and wanted to reassure themselves that they made the right decision.
There are no shortcomings. What maniac is going to abuse their phone like that? Simply use your phone like a regular sane person and it should be fine. Any accidents just have insurance on it and get it fixed. At&t literally sends a tech to your house and the tech takes your phone and fixes it right in your driveway. Also with these trade in deals these companies are doing you'll likely not have your phone for more than a year and a half anyway.
@@BALL_BUZZhaving insurance doesn't mean shit if we are talking about shortcomings from companies. Why should I be forced to compensate the trash from a company with insurance? Motorola promised 400k folds and only delivered 44k. That's a huge issue. People on average unlock their phone 150 times a day. With the huge screen on the outside, it's gonna be 80 folds each day. Lastly the US ain't the whole world and I don't think anyone is willing to switch a phone every two weeks (as repairs are very hard on foldables and they mostly get thrown away and replaced with a new device)
@@eulehund99I disagree that a normal person folds and unfolds their foldable phone 150 times a day neither 80 times. I just did a small reading online (reddit), and the maximum folds and unfolds they mentioned is 50, so, Razr plus holds way better than expected until the end of its OS and security updates.
@@eulehund99 44k for one phone only? This does not mean this phone won't last 400k folds. A better test would have been to do 3 phones each at a time and if all the Motorola phones fail around 40 to 50k then it would be more believable.
@@BALL_BUZZ yup, a test sample of one isn't all that great in terms of statistics. Especially considering that it was unreasonably abused before the test.

I just bought the razr + and get about one phone call a week... will probably never have to open my phone but once a week....plus I have a great gaming PC. Doubt I will ever bury it in sand, if the mood strikes, but thanks for the test!
I find it really funny that this guy's video shows the screen breaking earlier on the Motorola but yet if you Google zflip or zfold screen breaking there are THOUSANDS of images and stories. Meanwhile you Google Razr screen breaking and there's 3 pictures from the FIRST razr foldable and then literally NOTHING else except the guy who breaks it on purpose to see how delicate the foldable displays really are. So it seems like the Samsung's foldables are only good in repetitive motions. BUT in real life actual use the Samsungs are CONSTANTLY breaking meanwhile the Motorolas are holding up and being sold by people 2-3 years later perfectly fine meanwhile most the Samsungs are broken or starting to crack.
I got the Razr in August. My screen officially crapped out. Looks like hairline crack started and now completely black screen. And thats with a hard case, limited drops and me rarely closing the phone throughout the day. Pretty disappointed. Hoping Motorola covers this under warranty.
Just a heads up IDK isn't a theory. It's what people say when they haven't thought about something. Not a great way to review anything let alone a phone
Daleko mi do zainteresowania składakami. Ale czapki z głów za jakość Samsunga. Chociaż nie mogę tego samego powiedzieć o ich telewizorach. Już w dwóch egzemplarzach padło mi częściowo podświetlenie.
The benefit of the Motorola is the front screen is so good you won't need to flip as much. still, I'm not ready to invest any real $ in flip or fold. Even if they were more dorable I just hate the crease.
Just bought the Motorola Razor (40) and don't even have it in my hands yet. I treat *any* phone I get as if it were more important than my own life. If it breaks I will negotiate with Motorola for another one. What else can one do??
Samsung always takes more precautions because of the Note 7 issue (exploding phones). What a crazy year that was. Plus they are such a big company eveyrone is out gunning for them, so they have to make it as perfect as possible. Motorola on the other hand is now considered a "mehh" brand. With such low standards they can get away with a lot more.
My 2019 razr had the main screen die within a few months. The open/ close sensor also died meaningo couldn't use the outside screen. Pity a it was a great phone to use. Much nicer than my current s23
I had a RAZR 40 Ultra for a grand total of 10 days before the main screen developed dead pixels on the fold that subsequently shot a green vertical line up to the top half of the screen. Cancelled the contract - it didn't even make it through the cooling off period!
If you really into flip or foldable phone, it's because of the technology, where durability comes 2nd. If you really need a durable phone, well just get a regular candy bar or mirror slab phone
We're not talking about robustness to extreme abuse here, we're talking about regular wear and tear. I don't think it's too much to ask that a flagship phone can last 2 years of moderate to heavy use, even if that's simulated.

I want to get a phone like this and I work as a landscaper. Dirt constantly gets in my pockets so I’m scared to get one of these
Wow the hinge that's not right up against the mic sounds better. Weird
I have a moto razr+ and I added a case which it has a hinge, so it makes more sturdy and sort of blocks the dust
I just ordered one online and I can't decide if I'll want a case or not. I still need to find info on how well it fares in a drop test.
Huge respect for this test 😂
Thanks..I like this video..transparent
You need to test this again with a unit that doesn't have dust under the screen. Not sure why you bothered putting in the man hours to a test scenario where both phones weren't in the same state.
That's what I'm saying it's a little bullshit
Try the razr mate, you will not be disappointed.
@@justfunandpopeace thank you sir, i will try the new razr after reading your comment 🙏
@@ferasalbinmohamed1029 I got the 50 ultra, and is super-duper 🥰🤩 no any issues and is catching everyone's attention.
Consistently bending of the screen also generates heat. Like a wire if u bend it many times it'll break.
What's the result of Galaxy Z Flip5? How many folds?
I think more than 400k again
Which one are you talking about?
You guys looked absolutely thrilled when conducting the flipping test.
Dare I say that you were about to flip as well?
I enjoyed the test event though I'll probably never buy a foldable phone. Come to think of it makes it more magical.
I just traded my 2020 razr for a 2023 razr.. it was still in great shape!!
Yeah. My z fold inside is rarely used. Like less than 2,000 flips and broke in 3 months. Meanwhile Razr is going strong
Razr for sure ,functionality n design 🎉
Mine broke when I opened it with the thumb of one hand rather than two hands. Screen protector bubbled above the hinge line.
I have the razr 40 ultra and I use my phone very very heavily and I am yet to have a single issue.. Even the crease line is still barely noticeable
Everything is working great like the first day ❤ i mean, i don't know how much it'll last, but I'm pretty happy it's still alive 😂
that's folding & unfolding continuously is a torture test
My razr plus 2023 cracked riiiiight down the middle after about 3 months with no drops. On its way to motorolla now, hopefully get replacement soon
I like that 400,000 folds is a selling point. Imagine if other phones said "you get 400,000 uses and that's it"
400,000 is opening and closing the phone 548 times per day, every day, for two years. Imagine buying a phone and opening and closing it 548 times per day.
Need to see a test of the Z Fold 5 vs the Pixel Fold
Yeah, that sounds interesting!
That sounds like a good plan for the winter :)
the sscreen wont handle that much folds tho since the dust the dirt the fingernails and the pressure on the screen is also what makes it fail not the opening and closing
Do you think it’s because of the dust proofing they did?
this video is such a twisted kafkaesque hellscape, just flipping a hinge like an automaton for what
Awesome test. The Samsung OI / software is so intrusive and annoying that I'll take my chances with the moto hinge.
I've had my Motorola RAZR 2019 since the spring of 2020...no issues with the hindge...at night I store it in a gps case open.. my only issue is the Google software.
Same, still alive
I don't really get the thing with the foldables, but maybe they would look cool in a new Matrix movie...
I went to check the razr at the store and their hinge is already floppy, definitely not a good look
I ordered the Razr 2024 yesterday and should have it next week I guess, what is the warranty on this phone and do you think it wise to keep a spare phone for just in case, just in case I have to send the phone for hinge repair, screen replacement, screen protector replacement etc...
What if you put a case on the RAZR?
Great Video 💯 ... You addressed THE most important point about the hinge
Everything that this guy said is absolutely true...I have bought one..and within one month I need to sell it off for less than half the price
@@elizabeth3280 omg ty Soo much fo the hint!
i love the z fold 3 and 4 that I purchased but anyone want to guess why i had to buy the 4 in the first place? You bet ya...after a ton of folds it creates this weird light moisture bubble in the center. I am tempted to try and get the plastic for the fold replaced but then I get how much more use from it? of course the outside works well but I paid the money for what is on the unfolded side and open it more times than I care to count daily. I am done with folding phones for a while after this until durability improves because you can have a really nice candy bar and a brand new premium tablet every year with the amt being spent on replacing the fold. I need to revert back to the Note.
I've had this phone for over 3 months it's absolutely amazing
What you also forget is during normal use there are always extreme fine dust in pockets etc and what would happen then if you fold your phone 170k times and more? I don't believe that those tests are comparable to the real user usage...
My z flip3 screen failed after 13 months. Samsung gracefully repaired it under warranty, the repaired phone lasted......13 months.
Errrrrr I don't believe you.

@@LouiiDeeHmm.. Then I wonder why almost half the iPhones I see have either cracked backside, screen or both while most Samsung and other brands I see are either not cracked or less cracked🤔🤔
by the time my razr 40 (not the ultra the one with the smaller front screen) gives out if it does ill be able to upgrade but thats no reason not to take care of it of course i really like the ultrawide screen and will be using it as a second phone after i upgrade im currently coming from a galaxy s10e and thats my secondary phone now as its seen better days and is a bit small.
I try not to dig with my razr 40 plus lol tbh im still conflicted. Ive ordered one but could cancel for the flip 5

Hej Kuba.
Ive read alot of comments about this phone, so many claiming their phones display broke only after 3 months..some sooner..just scared to buy this phone.
That is insane just how many times you actually folded the phones!!!
I only close when I change it over night. I don't one hand flip open fast. I am really careful with it.
So which foldable phone is better ?
Got the flip 5. I only flip the phone when I put on my pocket. Around the house y keep it open
Not sure how this video came up on my feed but it was very interesting. Earned my subscription.
There's no link to the stream m8
you should test a second razr incase it was just this unit
Keep in mind this is the 2023 Razer which uses a completely different Hinge from the 2024 model.
Folding phones break because they fold. Nothing wrong with the screen or hinge. More moving parts naturally gives you more modes of failure.
Już w dwóch egzemplarzach padło mi częściowo podświetlenie.
when fold 5?
wow .... Extremely convincing video
My main screen took 3 years to finally crack on my Moto Razr 5G
The benefit of the Motorola is the front screen is so good you won't need to flip as much. still, I'm not ready to invest any real $ in flip or fold. Even if they were more dorable I just hate the crease.
Lol so don't drag my Razr through dirt and it will be fine. Great video 😅
This made me realize, Foldable phones aren't ready for me yet lol.
Samsung has a amazing engineering team and people underestimates them too much.
Thanks so much for the durability testing. I'm picking up my preordered Flip 5 next week.
you're welcome!

the forces applied by a human hand are way different then a static even machine + you sit on it, drop it, etc...
Just bought the Motorola Razor (40) and don't even have it in my hands yet.
I treat *any* phone I get as if it were more important than my own life.
If it breaks I will negotiate with Motorola for another one. What else can one do??
Good job! 2-nd place is not bad 🤕
there was only 2 phones😂🙌
Ups
2nd out of 2

WTF only have 2 phones xd😂
Samsung always takes more precautions because of the Note 7 issue (exploding phones). What a crazy year that was. Plus they are such a big company eveyrone is out gunning for them, so they have to make it as perfect as possible. Motorola on the other hand is now considered a "mehh" brand. With such low standards they can get away with a lot more.
yes Motorola got away with making the best usable flip phone on the market, congrats! Samsung dropped the "mehh" ball.
@@gad9761 tried both. Flip all the way. My opinion of course.
My 2019 razr had the main screen die within a few months. The open/ close sensor also died meaningo couldn't use the outside screen. Pity a it was a great phone to use. Much nicer than my current s23
5:47 "What would I do if I owned a..."
Narced on himself lol.
120,000 folds in a row is different then 400,000 over time
I just got mine yesterday😮
I usually change phones every 2- 3 years
Hopefully it lasts that long
