Hi there I just want to say you know what you got a very amazing Talent that is so good also you know what you if I had that sort of Talent that you have got I see what I would do would advertise and say anyone with old toys who want you can make a huge lot of money doing that a model like that you've just done depending on what the paint is and how many man hours charge £100 or dollars I presume you're American so it would probably be like 100 bucks that's what I do Percy I'm in England imagine if you could find what box it came in and done the box absolutely amazing well done

A really successful restoration, it's a shame that the scratch in the new windshield was overlooked and it's a shame that the model designation on the trunk lid has disappeared.

Real restorers show off their skills, you don't. The unnecessary show of the hole in the hood is ridiculous, and in the final result you missed an image of the hood underneath that shows that there is nothing repaired. The end result is rough and unreal. I'm sorry, IMAO.
Уж если взялся восстанавливать классический мерседес (фирма считает классикой всё что выпустила 20 лет назад) так надо придерживаться классической схемы восстановления пусть даже игрушечной модели. Салон неправильно окрашен в корне, многое в салоне что должно быть в хроме не окрашено. Кстати на 115 ( а это именно он) никогда не использовалась двухцветная гамма в отделке салона. Колпаки должны быть в цвет кузова и со значками и шильдиками. Можно было окрасить и решётку (пластиковую деталь в цвет) а не оставить всё в хроме. На крышке багажника не отмечен хромом подсветка номера, она же ручка отрывания багажного отсека. Нет хромированной накладки вокруг лобового стекла и по кругу салона под окнами идёт хромированная накладка. Кстати на кузове она отлита. Ну и вывод, хорошо что не дали сгинуть модели, а вот восстанавливать надо чётко по оригиналу. Ну и на конец на модели Мерседес W115 завод никогда не устанавливал тонированные стёкла. Кстати что бы не возникло вопросов модельки Мерседесов собираю лет 30 и знаю о чём говорю, да и старые мерсы знаю до мелочей.
