Nice work! Do you happen to know a model with a compatible prism for a Zeiss Design Selection 8x20 T*P*? I ruined a prism when I took off the plastic separator between the component prisms. Some nasty scratches appeared on the lower prism in the direction of the sliding. I can't explain why.
Olá boa noite meu caro, estou com um Leitz 8X20 exatamente com esse problema, como faço pra te enviar e quanto sairia o concerto? Francisco Bulcão, João pessoa PB, abraço e aguardo resposta.
Do you know by chance how to remove the 2 little lids that presumably cover each a screw at the top of the joint? You are inadvertently pointing with your finger toward one of the lids at 5:03. (Hope you understand, what I mean; I would have loved to post a foto, but how...)
@@BinocularsbyVogel Thanks for the info, but it was only partially correct. It was just a cover that popped off when I took it away with a knife. And underneath was the expected screw, but completely surrounded by glue.

Use a blade. This is a thin cap. Go slowly .

Could you send the picture? If all parts are in metal, you can use a dryer to remove the glue
