I noticed that on my bedroom TV. Which puzzled me cause my living room it was fine.Then it hit me the bedroom was a decent reviewed dock and my power supply was a phone charger 🙃 .Glad to hear I thought correctly. I've got a NINTENDO charger amazoned and otw. Thank u

It's probably cause you didn't use the one that came with your switch
Forgive me, but why weren't you using the official power adapter that came with your Switch?
There are various forums online and videos that state you should never use 3rd party docks or power adapters, due to the risk of damaging your Switch. Metroid Prime runs perfectly docked, if you use the official adapter that came with it.
I have 3 docs total. 1 official doc and two third party. Just because you 'should' use the official docs, doesn't mean that 100% of people do. I made this video because there was no solution that I found online and I was not the only person experiencing this.
Oh, I'm not judging. Some people may have bought their switch second hand and may have had to buy a different Dock or charger. Or maybe their charger cable broke. I'm just saying it's the best practice and if you can or have access to the official hardware, you'd be best to use that, or it could cost you in the long run.
Thanks for the video! I experienced this slowdown with the Genki Covert Mini dock. The game ran insanely slow when looking at a large expansive area and then super fast in small corridors. I only experienced it briefly, and then it ran fine and buttery smooth again. It apparently does go up to 3A.
