Great performance! I did something different. I bought the Puig v2 and connected them at OEM plugs. So, i can handle them by the Function button and no need for additional switch. With 1000 lumens each (2000 both) any night riding is totally different. About the heated grips, all winter i went between 2 and 3 scale. At 4 you feel your hands burning!
I wouldn’t know what it’s like to have heated hand grips
I’m going to do the same but with those from SW-Motech light. Did you wire them directly to OEM connectors or used relay and took power from battery while OEM connector for on/off signal only?
The SW Motech kit comes with a switch and I wired it directly into the battery
I connected them at the OEM plugs. Have only one think in mind. Honda has an accepted electric load until 15 W per light. If you go to something higher from this, you will have an error message at the dash as ECU will read overloading. Before buy the additional lights read carefully the watt consumption and mainly the lumens efficiency. More watts do not mean always more lumens @@Luk4s7St
@@ride-fly-divethanks! Motech draws the 12W per lamp to should be good! I like clean dash and minimal cabling.
Those are looking great. I had a bunch of the SW-Motech stuff on my old KLR and it was great. I'll keep these in mind, thanks for the review!
Is there a reason why you didn’t go with the 3Dcycleparts kit?
