The sproket broke. Those track assemblies are heavy built and really that bus is not that heavy but they were not running enough tension on the tracks that you could see.
What I want to know is, where is Diesel Dave? Looks like you are all having a great time even though there was much breakage....lol It's always good to get out and have a good time.

A few years ago Whistling Diesel took a Beautiful Blue FORD Truck and totally destroyed it and He thought that was funny and cool NOT!!! He should take His JUNK Monster Truck and totally DESTROY it NOW that would be really impressive. NOT a Big Fan of Whistling Diesel He makes NO sense of some of the things He does that's supposed to be cool and funny. I don't see anything funny or cool when you destroy things when people are struggling to make it day by day.

What about a setup similar to an RV/Camper but rather then electric go hydraulic there's tons of space under the bus for a hydraulic tank and lines and tons of space on all 4 corners for large rams with fixed or attachable foot plates, simple up down controls for each ram you'd be lifting with adjustable height control on each ram for uneven terrain ?? just an idea I cant even describe how cool it would be for a fan like myself to click on a vid one day and see the crew building something from a fan born idea, keep it up guys best content online hands down

Okay here is one for you I've always been just a part's changer. Alternator goes out. Put a new one in belt goes out. Put another one in transmission goes out. Put another one in never pulled a motor never really did any type of upgrades to anything. I got a 1978 Chevy long bed. It's got a 454 in it it's a big block. Small block. Not quite sure on the transmission I know it had a 203 transfer case which blew up. It's sitting on 46 inch. Tires with the 13 inch left with the 4 inch body left. I have way too many questions to ask. I've been asking the same question to a lot of people on UA-cam. How do I find out what type of 454? It's got what type of transmission. It's got what would be the best set up for 44. The transmission and transfer case too many questions to ask. Not enough people out there answering. I'm 44 now. I'd like to have it somewhat done by a time on 50

My guess for getting the tires on is 3 hours, 32 minutes, and 17 seconds. Also for next year's series if you guys need some emergency welding/work, it wouldn't hurt to call up Ducworks in Logan. We've got a large machine shop and weld shop. Most likely won't be able to film there, but it depends on what aerospace/gov projects we have going on. We can also come to you if needed. Would love to work with you guys!

Should have driven it with the tires on the back and tracks on the front the rears would have spun faster as in they would have been trying to push more. If they dig too much then pull the driveline and go front power only back to the trailer.

On tracks that wide on the freedom bus I think double wheel bogeys would make a massive difference and reduce risk of breaking Dave
