I love how the Bethel singers cry out in praise to Him. Its not about them, its all for Him and His glory. They don't care what they look like, they are pouring out their songs and their hearts to Him.

I only look at Jenns spirit and leadership, she is incredible ,besides in Redding it goes up to 115 degrees in the summer, I thought we were going to melt, even in the sancturary it gets hot even with AC, absolutley adore this church, they do not preach psychology, Opraology or 10 way to serve your church, they preach the gospel to empower you and equip you, all of their preachings are fantastic, pastors are humble and they pray for everyone, they are so excited about serving God, have never seen a church like this where they know God shows up at ever meeting and that he is a living presence in our daily walk

I have been blessed by Jenn Johnson's ministration countless times, the passion and obsession to lead people to worship God in spirit and in truth, for the first time ever, after reading the comments on her dressing, I had to even look to see what she was wearing, whoever could have taken note of what she wore OBVIOUSLY IS IN THE FLESH! I have followed her ministration for years without taking note, so sad how people leave the substance and begin to chase shadows!

I am born again Christian I like this worship
During the pandemic I am here in Southern California being blessed by a song that was offered up five and a half years ago and is still blessing me today by the invitation to worship our Lord. I can feel the love that Jenn Johnson has for our Savior. I'm grateful this is available for me to hear and use as part of my worship before I read my Bible. God bless those who provide, and bless the Christian brothers and sisters in this video.

I just mental your husband last Saturday Jenn. But I for got to tell him about my recent bday last month on the 17th my uncle who was like my dad was on his death bed. I didn't no how to react so I just worshipped GOD in front of my uncle. I had my head phones on and this song was the one I was playing. And I prayer for him in the same moment! He passed away 31th of march. But I know he went with the Lord because the Holy Spirit filled me with such a confidence I didn't have that day. Nonetheless, I can understand how that her attire could be provocative to some or in this highly sexualised day and age, possibly to many. There are a lot of things said in the bible and no man on this earth has been or can adhere to all of them since or before Jesus. Let's focus on the positive that she is leading worship and inspiring people to move closer to Christ.

Joyce Premila I 100% agree with what you have said but my point is not that we should take advantage of God's grace t's that he knows we are not perfect. Even if you are a leader, you will never be perfect so work as hard as you can to live like him. She is not dressed appropriately perhaps and I am sure we can find something about all leaders that are problematic but we should still encourage them to continue inspiring others towards Christ as I personally believe that that is more important than anything else. Believing and guiding people to Christ. Nonetheless, I understand your perspective and that different Christians have different focuses. As long as Christ comes first and you give all you can then to me it's all good

Honestly, this has been on my mind for awhile as I read these comments. Of course as sisters adopted into Christ's family, we want to edify and encourage others to remain pure and prevent stumbling. So whether that be our actions or clothing, in all ways we want to out do each other in showing honor. BUT what is not honoring or loving is to see comments that are condemning Jenn's dress attire, as if it were some sort of reflection of her character or worth as a worship leader. It is so so SOOO clear to me that God has anointed her and blessed her with talents to lead people into the presence of the Spirit. What truly then is the focus of the clothing comments? Pure genuine worship or judgement? Brothers and sisters, I urge you to reflect on not the external, but the sincere heart and desperation I can feel from Jenn, as a leader pointing a congregation to Christ, from something like a UA-cam video.

To all those 'Christians' commenting on, and worrying about a tank top...
if you are convicted to wear a burka then you should wear a burka. No where in the Bible (God's word) does it say that we are responsible for other's sinning by our just existing. The word simply says that we have to be cognizant of our brothers and sisters around us and understand when we are presenting a stumbling block for them. If we trip our brothers or sisters up so that they sin then we are held accountable but this isn't simply black and white. We have to look at it from the motives of wearing the clothing women want to wear, lets take yoga pants as an example. They are form fitting and leave little to the imagination, that's true but more often than not women don't wear them because they want men to lust after them, they wear them because they are comfortable and very flexible as far as outfits go. However, if a women is knowingly wearing them for the explicit fact to create male interest and to cause them to lust that is a grave sin. It's not only on the women to dress modestly, it's on the men to take the initiative not to lust after the women. By saying women should cover up, never show any curves or cleavage just so that men will never have a chance to lust after them, then we are building a fallacy for ourselves and taking the responsibility of the men away from them essentially saying it's OK for them to lust after the women if they dress a certain way... it's not. Men, not women, need to be the first line of defense against themselves sinning by lusting after women, it doesn't matter if a women is wearing a burka, if a man truly wants to lust after them or has absolutely no self control or Godly awareness they will still lust after a women covered from head to toe with a potato sack. The men need to repent (confess their sins) on the spot to God and he will be forgiven.
It really comes down to conviction and balancing Godly truths found in his word, the women's conviction, and controlling not providing a heightened chance for men to lust. I believe you can be modest wearing a 2 piece swim suite but it's how you go about it. The most cited scripture regarding women modesty (1 Timothy 2:8-10) isn't even talking about showing skin, it's talking about not wearing extravagant and costly apparel to flaunt your wealth or to make it seem that you are better than those around you.

Cliff Bergesen Bible says Christians should judge so that we do not allow false doctrine and wolves in sheep clothing(as is currently happening) to take over the church. This is why christianity is quickly becoming irrelevant.
Judge based on fruits they bare. What is the fruit this worship leader bares. Not arguing stating fact. She has a pair of capris and a thicker tank top. She's not jumping around. Flopping everywhere. Do not place a stumbling block. Let's try and remember this words can cause that stumbling block. It's not for me to judge her. The worship was an anointed one it didn't hinder the spirit at all with what she was dressed in. We should probably look deeper into our own selves before judging another brother or sister in Christ.
