As a foreigner in China, I am required to go through a series of medical tests in order to obtain a work visa or a long-term stay visa. The process may sound daunting, however, it is quite efficient and straightforward.
I scheduled an appointment with a local medical center and arrived there at the designated time. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities and friendly English-speaking staff. Once I entered, the receptionist guided me through the entire process.

First, they conducted a body check-up which included a height and weight measurement, blood pressure, and temperature. After that, I underwent a thorough examination of my heart, lungs, and abdomen. Following the check-up, I had to take a blood test, urine test, and a chest x-ray.

The blood and urine samples were taken on-site and sent to the laboratory for further analysis. The chest X-ray was done on the same day as well. The results came back within 48 hours and were available online on the medical center's website. The staff gave me instructions on how to retrieve the results and explained everything in detail.
The experience was professional, efficient, and highly organized. I left feeling reassured that my health was in good hands.
