- Jamaica is taking a big step towards economic growth and development by sourcing vehicles from Innoson Company. This move will enable the country to access quality and affordable vehicles for its citizens. The vehicles sourced from Innoson are expected to be of high standards, thus providing Jamaicans with a reliable transport system. Additionally, this partnership between Jamaica and Innoson will help create jobs in the country as well as stimulate economic growth. It is hoped that this partnership will help Jamaica meet its transportation needs and provide its citizens with access to quality and affordable vehicles in the near future.

The jamaican can give custom duty concessions for vehicles from Nigeria for specific development sectors. And Nigeria can develop a cargo shipping system where African products are brought to the newly established transshipment port of Jamaica.

Innoson growing in leaps and bounds but am worried about his succession plan. When he gets too old to run d company will d company be run as smoothly as now. Innoson has two sons and the younger one runs his motorcycle plant. I think the older one runs IVM Cruise a ride hailing business. I think for now they are based in Enugu state.
However, I feel that he should be planning to go public eventually. If he floats shares in the stock exchange, he will be over subscribed. This was how Dangote catapulted to the top. Generally, Igbo businesspeople tend to shy away from investors. They like to maintain control. Both approaches have their risks. Tony Elumelu was the first major private investor in Transcorp but Femi Otedola just bought enough percentage to become the largest single investor in the company. He is definitely going to have a say in the running of the business.
Innoson should emulate Coscharis. His is still a privately owned enterprise but is run in a much more corporately governed manner.
Innoson is a very intelligent and enlightened man. I am sure he is weighing his options. Right now, he is undergoing unprecedented expansion and it makes sense to reach a certain level before opening up the business to investors who might have their own ideas about how things should go. Also, Nigerian policy makers are unreliable, and a publicly traded company might not afford Innoson to make the kind of responsive business decisions that have brought him success.
