The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Geoffrey Onyeama in the company of the High Commissioner of Nigeria to Jamaica, Esmond Reid paid a courtesy visit to the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Factory in Nnewi Anambra State today, February 11th, 2023.
This is a great opportunity for Jamaica and Nigeria.

After reading history of 1800s ,I found that our people, the igbos , ibibios ,Erik were largely one of the original ancestors of Jamaicans , I now see them as my own people. though mixed now.

If you want to continue supporting your asian people them mr Singh well do so continue to buy your Japanese cars. I just hope that all my African brothers and Sisters will start supporting their Mother Africa their own people and buy just their cars .Start building up our Ancestral Continent. It's time that we have our own Economic worth / strength. Let's be a strong competitor as a great producer in the vehicle manufacturing/ design. industry. We have to cut ourselves from the Apron strings of these Asians/ Arabs/ Caucasians who are not our friend they haven't got our interest at heart . We are more than capable to stand on our own we don't need these people only as consumers if they wish . They need us than we need them . Africa have all the minerals materials resources .. what they need. We have to set our own agenda terms and conditions.

Jamaicans were a strong believer in going back to Africa because we are black. There is even a song about that. We never forget who we are, even though they have brainwashed some of our people. We must unite because they are working day and night to keep us down, all because of that continent (the motherland) Africa. They want to controls its resources for themselves, but with us united it will be impossible for them.

With steel industry and manufacturing of vehicles, a country starts to truly move up the value chain. Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda are on their way to join South Africa (which unfortunately makes foreign owned brands)

This is the greatest news that I have heard on the African diaspora economic development. Jamaica imports a lot of cars for different sectors of the economy. The Jamaican government could take an additional step by giving a special import duty concession to Nigerian cars imported for use in designated sectors of the Jamaican economy. The government service, agriculture and public passenger transportation sector should be sectors to be considered.
I would also ask Nigeria to finance cargo vessels which would take these cars from Nigeria to Jamaica. Other exports and imports from Africa would be able to use these cargo vessels for trading with the Caribbean, north, central and south America. This new trade would use the newly developing transshipment port of Jamaica.
We are brothers far apart yet so close as nothing happens before time . Long overdue .. Africa for Africans and we are all branches of the same tree . I love this business move between two brothers.

How will warranty issues be handled. IVM should establish maintenance offices to handle warranty issues as case arises.
