Ironically they had major beef with Roadrunner I think, and told everyone to steal this album and not pay for it. This is honestly one of my least favorite Gj releases. I love Colouring Book and El Mark EP. Oxycodone was the song that got me into them, and they don't even have many songs like it.
I love how in the description it says "ripped by". Kids nowadays will never know what it was like to have to find a dope site to watch all their music videos and download them before youtube. So we Ripped them. Phrase i havent heard in a long time.
And am glad they don't. It fucking sucked. Just like making mixed tapes to get all your favorite songs onto one tape. You know the pain of that? Either way, I am glad we have such ease of access to everything now.
At The Drive-In was one of the best bands ever. I love watching those old shows of them prior to Relationship of Command. In/Casino/Out is their best release in my opinion, but all of it's gold.
Holyf*cnsh*t dude.....those are the hands down only 2 bands i ever truly enjoyed the energy off their performances. Thats insane cuz im usually an extremely hard peraon to satisfy and those were the only 2 to ever do it for me.
@@drownthepoorhad the live energy of a bunch of banshee's that had just railed an OZ. Of meth. F*cn insane live back in the early 2000's. Man i miss those days
@@YOURMOMCALLSME Dillinger Escape Plan live was the most intense show for me. Their 2nd singer Greg is from Baltimore so they'd go extra hard every time they played there, and they got fined for him blowing fire indoors. First song he ripped the mic off the stand and hurled the stand into the crowd. He would run out onto peoples heads/shoulders. I was there with my girlfriend, and we were center-front and I wished I was there without her at the time. Amazing show. All of the 2000's there were a lot of memorable shows.

@@gerryfromthevoid8986 all music is shit to me haha. I honestly don't get the hype over gj though... do people just like it cuz it's weird or different? Fair enough either way. I'm not intelligent enough to get it lol
That exact wink at 0:47 sums up Glassjaw in one simple action.
2024 and still goes hard. EYEWTKAS changed my life
I miss this era
This record changed my music life. Front to back it is gold. Gj was ahead of its time. Saw them in 02. The energy was off the charts.

Heading into 2022 and still jamming this album...
absolutely.
1:40 I wish you a broken heart and a happy 20 years.
Its not 20 years its New Year
@@dunkinonnickerz188 I believe this was someone wishing the album a happy 20th birthday
The bass is ahmazing

And it would take hours and hours to download a ripped video on 56k.... Not to mention when someone called your land line and disconnected you hahaha

one of the best live shows i’ve ever seen in person. hands down. 🤘🏻👊🏻
Brings back memories! Still awsome today! One of two bands that I would love to see live! The other is At the drive in :-(
Michael Bishop I saw both on yours within the past year.
