Initially after the update my portal was working great no issues but starting last night , I noticed i was constantly getting disconnected, image was distorted as well as the audio. My ps5 is on LAN & I even have WiFi booster in my house. Never had issues before and initially after the update but now I am. I also tested the public WiFi after the update and couldn’t connect like you I hope this gets fixed soon because I love the convenience of my portal. Laying down on the couch playing your favorite ps games is the best !
Ive only had the portal since literally just a day or two after the 3.0 update. Ive had no issues. Love it so far. Haven't tested it outside of my home wifi yet, though. I havent run it less than 20% yet, but I estimate I'd probanly get about 6 hours or so battery life with brightness at 3/4, anything beyond that is way too much unless outside on my deck.

I noticed my battery got worst after the update and to update on WiFi it can only be a 2.4ghz connection to sign on to public WiFi. With most businesses using 5.0 there’s no option to sign on or log in. Which is a bummer. Love the portal for around the home. All about bed gaming. Great video and now subbed.
I like the public wi-fi idea but the fact that connection is such a hustle, it bursts the public wi-fi bubble. Other than that it’s a good alternative when everyone is fighting for the TV REMOTE. Thanks for the sub mate

For me at home no problems. Its better for me because after the upgrade the ps5 connect from the first time. Normaly 2 or 3 times
Same at home I have no issues. The new update might have a few bugs

Mines constantly disconnects from my home wifi constantly, and it still happens after the update! I dint even want to try taking it anywhere with this issue happening at home
There could be an issue with your unit or the internet connectivity.
@@thevaluespace I don’t think it’s the internet brotha, everything else works fine, my ps5 is on WiFi and my Xbox series X… idk 🤷🏾♂️ saw a video saying I needed to plug my ps5 directly into the internet and do some other shit , I’ll keep trying to fix it all I can do but it sucks that they haven’t fixed these issues

They could’ve made this a good handheld but still just dragging their feet
I agree with you, most likely they’re limiting the features because they’d be at a loss compared to handhelds like the ROG Ally and the steam deck which have way more features hence their hefty price points
Junk already returned my useless portal. Sony dropped the ball on this one.
I think it’s gotten a bit better but there’s still lots of room for improvement
