A minor update i would like is to dim the led lights around the controller and the mute button probably not the most battery draining feature but would be a nice feature to have, the big one would be cloud streaming on the device would be so clutch so u wouldnt always have to have the ps5 on and maybe helps sony with more premium ps plus subscribers
@purepsx I've mainly been playing fc24(Fifa),helldivers 2 and now started my back catalog that I've downloaded from ps premium I recently gave it a try since my ps plus subscription was finished so now I'm playing god of war ps4
Just got mines and already can see it’s a great concept but still poorly executed. Obviously I can’t tell how it was before this latest update but I’m getting frequent dropouts and connection issues and I’m in the same room as my PlayStation 5 hopefully Sony fixes this with the firmware update soon
Don’t bother if gonna use it with a mobile hotspot over WiFi. PlayStation told me it’s not intended to work with mobile hotspot as it’s designed for WiFi. Guess I’m gonna sell mine since that was my intention to use it while I’m in work as got no WiFi there.
Am I the only one noticing the improved picture quality and bitrate? It’s like switching from 1080 to 4k in my use case, I’m loving this device more and more
I’ve been to 3 Starbucks & the portal didn’t offer me the QR CODE at all 3 & I went to a restaurant with the portal & I got the QR Code but the Portal never hooked up, keep saying OOOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG/NO INTERNET over & over again, even tho my phone was on the Restaurant & those Starbucks internet at all times…. Have you tried public access yet? If so, we’re you able to game at Starbucks, Hotel, Restaurant etc?
You have to follow the instructions on how to authenticate option on your ps portal then connect on your phone and enter the password from there on the new SSID
It did the same for me what I did was forget the network every time I wanted to try to connect, needless to say you can’t imagine how many times i did it before it worked at least more than 20 , not cool…
@johnathancamarillo1202 so glad I'm not the only one😂😂😂😂, I will try again tomorrow at the location that gave me the QR CODE...if it doesn't work then I'm done fighting this thing....Starbucks is the worst by the way, it gives me permission then 2seconds later, it takes it away...portal NO INTERNET/Oops SOMETHING WENT WRONG nonsense for about 40mins of that....oh well, fingers crossed & thanks for your experience

Yeah could streaming would be huge and one I think they may launch in the future! What games are you enjoying on your portal just now!?

Just the well documented micro-stutter issue for Sony to fix now, then the device will be perfect
They should have fixed the connection via Mobile hotspot. Not all networks support this remoteplay. 😢
Would be a awesome update if it didn’t have so many glitches and problems, connection, problems, and everything else which I never had before
