It's a shame I didn't know about your channel until late July. I live in Ashville and was also at the guitar show (froze my butt off..lol). It would have been cool to meet you and the crew. Hopefully next time around!
That’s my friend and musical collaborator Jim who is working at the Moog showroom! Check out some of his music using all kinds of Moog and other instruments under his stage name Logos, I play some drums, percussion, guitar, and bass on some of his recordings. AsheVegas is a wonderful weird wild and whacky place!😂👍🤙🖖
I love Ashville. It is the coolest city in North Carolina. Hey dude while you were there you should have visited and checked out the lobby at the Grove Park Inn just a couple of miles north of downtown.
Hi Alex, my favorite part was the Acoustic Corner… since I visit Asheville every so often, That’s on my to do list! Thanks… it was great meeting you at the show! See you again soon!
those looked like some awesome shops. I recognized the mini-theremin at the Moog factory. I had just seen one at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. I plan to buy one for my grandkids. The MIM has an amazing exhibit, Acoustic America: Iconic Guitars, Mandolins, and Banjos, through mid-September, which I'm sure most readers here would appreciate. I'd go back if it wasn't halfway across the country.
I graduated from UNCA in 1992 and I had to sell two martins and a little shop in Leicester. One of them was my beloved 1976 D-28. It didn't happen to find either one of them did you?
We get up to the Black Mountain area (near Ashville) about twice a year. What are the names of the thrift store and vinyl shop you visited? Really enjoyed your video, btw.
tons of fun stuff in the video, but im super glad we made it to a presentation at the Moog Factory!

RIP Moog Showroom…
Did I see a Lab series amp??? Had one back n the day.
Guitars a little more expensive there?
oh, the irony of the channel name!
Poor Moog. Were those Eastwood Tuxedos or originals?
Reissues I believe!
They are reissues. We are an east wood dealer but we have a few originals in the shop
Who knew how sadly ironic this video would become? :(
all these stores survived
What no guitar center?! lol
Update from Asheville after Hurricane Helene.....your channel name couldn't be more sadly ironic.
