Amy, don't feel bad about hitting the tree with your lawn tractor. I once tried driving my Dad's up a maple tree. I was mowing around the tree and got a little bit to close. Somehow, the front got caught on the bark of the tree, and up it went. The front of the tractor was facing up the tree, and the back of the seat was on the ground. My Dad came running out, and he said, "What to hell were you trying to do? He told that story to everyone. Luckily , was not hurt at all , just my pride. 😅😅❤

The one where the lawn mower was hung up in the trees is a good one. John Deere mowers are tough-they can take the abuse-ha!!!!

Looks like you finally got the seat on the lawn mower reattached with some heavy duty glue. Hopefully it will stick on for good now.
Fun Sunday afternoon listening to both of you guys talk about the day and looking thru the car lots and the colors of the cars.

100% right on manifold
my dad had great luck with FORD pick ups for 25+ years then bought a DODGE pick up and the 2nd year went by and he had to replace the whole front end suspension after that little thing where going bad like starter,alternator ,belts,water pump. he said it was the biggest pile of JUNK he ever bought.
Dougo, you might be able to find an exhaust manifold clamp. I have one on my 04 gmt
Black Caulk makes the seat look like a bumblebee 😂
On the patio table. We had our patio table blown off our deck, and it was shattered. My dad then put some stainless pad eyes into our deck and wired our table to them. In the 15 years we lived in that house, we never had another problem.
Since you have a concreete deck, you could use tapcons to hold stainless pad eyes down. Then, connect your table to that. That would prevent your table from blowing over and breaking.
Dougo I just had my HEMI TICK replaced on my '17, my '04 had it also. I've never heard of machining the face of them and reuse it hmm! I believe it breaks the stud and nut off and then they leak while cold. Amy's RT will get it eventually also unfortunately.
As you had a new and now a crucket manifold, you can have it flattened and be good until it is rusted through in many years. So your blessed with it 😂.

As always, love your videos. You and Dougo are nothing less than a bright ray of sunshine on an otherwise bland Sunday evening since not too many are posting on a Sunday. I wish that the Discovery Channel or somebody make a reality series on you two. In the event that your lawnmower seat fails again, I recommend that Dougo use some epoxy ( jb kwik ). If that doesn't work nothing will.🎉
Just a hint on your tube of caulk, use a wire nut big enough to go over the end. It'll seal up the end enough that it'll just skin over the very end of the tip and it'll be real easy to get it open again

Your manifold reminds me of what happened to me. I had a1974 Chevy K10.my manifold cracked. It was cheaper to buy headers so I did. It took us all day to put on and hook up the buffers. What a pain and was always tighten the bolts. You have to tighten then when they are.hot to keep tight. Never again. Great video. Love your stories

Well amy your not the only that has taken the lp tank out.... did the same thing first time i was able to run the big ferris front mount mower in 2000.
Doug you are correct on the exhaust manifold leak. Always take all your old parts back when they replace something. Also it keeps them/mechanics honest .

To solve your Dodge problem you have to get a Toyota Tundra. After a few months you of driving that Toyota truck Amy will want a Highlander to drive. We learned that years ago. Thanks for the video. You two are very entertaining and please get rid of the flip flops.

You should’ve have the Sweed to fix the seat for you.
E600 is an all purpose adhesive. Will bound metal to metal or wood to metal. Excellent adhesive.
The sad thing is that leftover caulk will be junk by September.
But "Crash" looks so innocent.

I used duct/gorilla tape and its held now for about 12 years on my lawn mower seat that separated like that.. You should probably just buy "Crash" a new seat :)

Hi Ya'll. If you and Dougo will stop by the Ford dealership, they'll have a cure for that Mopar manifold problem. LOL. Amy, don;t feel bad about the crash over the slope. I cannot tell you how many times I've slid my mower into the road ditch and had to get the truck to pull myself out. The adhesive trick will work just fine on the seat. I've done the same before.
I'm thinking Amy should go find whatever object it was that took the planter marker out and put up a caution sign lol.
Another great video you two!...I have a 2009 Dodge Laramie Ram box with the same issue with 210k miles on it. I just put up with it... Otherwise she's mint...lol
That liquid “nails” is old and partially set up. The Liquid Nails I’ve used was white, I’ve even used it to bond the magnet’s back onto my magnetic parts tray’s. Each his own.🤷♂️That sillycone should hold..
Same thing happened to my sons ram we replaned it and no more issues and use harder heat rated studs so they wont break
That's been a ford and dodge problem for years,also because the put cheap bolts in from the start
My mom had the same truck. She bought it during the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty. It was a 2010. Anyway she had two manifolds put on because of the exhaust leak and it leaked with the 3rd manifold. The truck was totaled but it was a pain in the ass

I do not know if you have Harbor Freight in your area of the USA. However, if you do not like how the John Deere seat wears, it might be time to try a non-OEM part. The price difference will sometimes surprise you. Of course, it is not an original part. This information is in case the silicone does not last. . . . Best wishes. . . . I just happened to receive my Princess Auto flyer this morning and I thought of you.
Doug in michigan any thing faster then two miles an hour we use duck tap good luck .
If you leave the boards on the tractor seat, your back might reach the backrest. The dents from the strap and boards, might be permanent. Lol
Plaster the parts needed and paint it, Any that’s right up your artistic alley.?

Take some rock putty and fill in the place on top of the table and sand it smooth and if you have the bottom part see if the rock putty will hold that back in place then just paint over it worth a try.

Dougo I kept saying ratchet strap but you couldn't hear me. Then you figured it out. I think your liquid nails theory about doesn't say it wouldn't work, but it doesn't say it will work either.
Dougo don’t replace the manifold just have it planed I had mine done that way and 60k later still no leak I have a new drivers side manifold with gaskets and bolts if you want it reach out to
Amy if ya put Potting soil instead of field soil and Water ya may raise a crop!
