At that point, bedrock edition didn't know how to generate the world so it reverted to generating just stone.

When I first played minecraft I was in survival, I didn’t know how to enter creative so this is about Togo as good as you would think😅 I spawned in then saw the world then realised…MOBS! I dug STRAIGHT down then built a little underground hut with my bare hands. Then I simply didn’t know nobs spawned in the dark…so I waited for my hunger to deplete and DIE and my eyes to adjust to the dark. I told my dad about it then days to WEEKS later, I got bored and deleted the app😂 Thankfully no mobs spawned or I would be scared SHITLESS😅

Im actually disgusted that they refuse to fix the single biome worlds, and pretend as if thats how they are supposed to work. I LOVE using them. I already preferred 1.17.1 over 1.18 and 1.19 since i had mixed feelings with the changes they made. (New music, chat reporting, new generation, more laggy) But when i finally try to accept the changes that they made, i finally find out what they have done to these worlds. This was the last straw. I dont think im playing anything above 1.17.1 anytime soon. But ill have to because of mods that dont know when to stop updating to newer versions of minecraft. Not to mention the sea of comments on curseforge begging mods to update to newer versions.

In older versions, single biome worlds did actually work as intended (as recently as 1.16!), so it's rather sad seeing what's become of them.

Nether worlds worked correctly in older versions of Minecraft. T_T The Caves and Cliffs update broke them.
