Power ranking in Genshin is a messy business, since we usually don't get concrete facts and strength of the characters is situational (Childe was clapped by the Traveler, then fought a space whale leviathan for Primordial One knows how long), but judging by what we've seen so far on screen, I have no objections regarding the list. As a Lisa main, I have to mention our Purple Witch here, since although, her exact power level is unknown, it was hinted that she's quite scary: 1. Her nonchalant attitude after Stormterror's attack on Monstadt as well as her dialogue with Jean when we first see her may suggest that she's capable enough to take on Stormterror. 2. The Abyss mage who stole the book in Lisa's story quest, plainly says that Lisa "conceals" her "true identity"...then dies a horrible death. Albedo and Diluc are also among the characters who suggested that there's more to Lisa than meets the eye. 3. Her elemental power is so strong that she turns the sky dark when she concentrates it. 4. During the first summer event, Jean trusted Lisa to guard the Monstadt, basically stating that the city is safe as long as Lisa is there. 5. Her status as the best student of the Akademiya in centuries is a common knowledge already, so there's not much to add here.
Thats called character progression, goku becomes stronger with training as time passes and doesn't stay with the same powerlevel he had on og dragon ball and childe is the same. Sorry if my english is bad
If nothing else, that Arlecchino quest was a well-deserved wake up call for the players. We've all been so used to our broken-ass teams casually clearing Abyss on every refresh that we tend to forget that, lore-wise, we are just the Traveler and the Traveler is currently still just a chump whose recent victories were only achieved by the skin of their teeth and with the help from a LOT of people on our side.

Arlecchino is an odd one for sure. She's most likely going to turn into that moving goalpost of power until she's defeated. That sharingan is going to cause many what ifs down the line.

Tartaglia growth is outpacing the Traveler. Every time he re appeared after the Liyue AQ, he was stated (or at least implied.) Just the fact Tartaglia was able to fight the whale without being devoured (Neuvi states that he held the whale back, allowing them enough time for the furina trial), and that unlike the traveler, he didnt have Restored Authority Neuvillette to separate the power of the primordial sea from the whale. He should at least be equal or superior to 5E traveler. Even when he appeared in that one Inazuma event, he was already implied to be stronger than the Traveler who had already defeated Signora.
Unlike the Traveler who stumbles up mighty foes due to fate, Tartaglia is actually looking for fights and strives to become stronger due to his nature and it's clearly shown during the little exhcange with Neuviiette and the Narwhal battle. I wouldn't be surprised if he already surpassed higher ranked Harbingers at this point. (Below Arle ofc)
If tartaglia gained power even close to the traveler, wouldn’t he have moved up the ranking and not be the lowest ranked harbinger, and he also got one shotted by neuvilette before he gained his full dragon power

3:52 we know that childe must have been fighting the narwhal for at least a few weeks to a month. Due to the fact that we were given a month long sentence in the fortress to look for his whereabouts, we know childe had already escaped before we enter the fortress, and that the rumors of the hidden pipes rule have already been established for quite awhile. And the 4.2 archon quest starts with the end of that one month sentence it all depends on how long it took for Childe to find the narwhal unless his falling into the abyss lead him immediately to said narwhal.
Plus childe been training ever since traveler defeats him in liyue AQ, I think he said to us or paimon at some point maybe in the event or what i forget but he's getting stronger since liyue AQ and he want to spar with the traveler again

Also remember time in the abyss goes faster, once when he fell for three days it was a month in the abbys so if he was there for weeks that would have been an incredibly long time fighting the narwhal

I feel like Albedo deserves an Honorary Mention here. We had Dainsleif tell and warn us of Albedo’s Art of Khemia, as well as Albedo himself saying that if he ever goes rampage he can depend on us to stop him. He was taught by Gold for … who knows how long, so he definitely possesses the knowledge of utilizing the Art of Khemia to … whatever extent it’s capable of. We even see him half-create a geovishap!!! On a whim!!!!! Sucrose stopped this man when he went in for the creation, he’s evidently made it a habit of creating life and- omg, he made a picture of Paimon … he could of doomed the world with two Paimons and no one’s realized that yet … There’s also that one thing where he ate a spider, for whatever that could entail. So yeah … Albedo has the strength to destroy a Nation. He has the means, he has the knowledge, he just doesn’t have the intent. Imagine what he could and would do, if destroying a Nation was something he deemed necessary for whatever reason.
i really did consider albedo. in my other more general video, i included Rhinedottir as one of the strongest beings in Teyvat, simply because of what shes was able to do with the art of khemia. The problem with albedo is he hasent mastered the art of khemia yet.

Dainsleif even said that the Art of Khemia caused the destruction of Khaenri’ah, and while that is rather interesting info alone, without any additional explanation, we don’t know if it was the unfortunate effort of teamwork, or the workings of one individual who used the Art of Khemia to destroy the Nation, and we don’t know if it was intentional or accidental … and with the recent discovery of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, the possibility of it being intentional has severely increased a bit. Continuing on this conversation would be leading away from Albedo … well, kind of leading away, since he uses the Art of Khemia, the power scaling of the Art of Khemia does somewhat matter to him, so until the Art of Khemia’s scale of capabilities are more understood, I will liken Albedo to a Whopperflower, and Rhinedottir to a Regisvine, and if there is an evolution beyond Regisvine, then I’ll give that evolution to the entirety of the Crimson Moon Dynasty.
I think what excluded Albedo from the list is because he has no actual feats. The game just says he could do these or that but doesn't show that he can actually these kind of things although he would be top tier if he can actually walk the walk.
The problem is, can Albedo destroy a nation by putting a lot of explosives under it (that is, use his own strength), or can he destroy a nation by building an abyssal-monster-summoning beacon (that is, use other beings' strength).
Cyno deserves a spot fr he almost has godlike abilities we’ve seen only some of his potential in the 2nd quest and then he got another fragment which may make him even stronger like you said I believe he can hold a fight against even some harbingers
i agree with Miko. she herself states that she's very powerful, powerful enough to replace the Raiden Shogun, but we all know that Miko loves to joke around. but yeah, she has control over the sacred sakura tree's magic, youkai magic, electro vision and she's just very very smart. remember how she helped us defeat Ei and how she helped us enter Makoto's realm of consciousness. i would say she's #6

I think you could argue PRIME Xiao beats Scaramouche/Wanderer, but in present, Xiao's biggest weakness (his karma/stamina) is one of Scara/Wanderer's biggest strengths. side note: when they say "500 years in the abyss" we don't know if that is abyss time or non-abyss time, so they might have the same "time" of experience.
How is stamina a weakness for xiao if he has been shown to be able to fight for days? His whole deal is that he has to be vigilant at all times, that's why he can show up whenever his name is called. And doesn't the accumulated karma fuel his bloodlust making him even more effective in combat? The problem is that his mental faculties decline
@@sarwatarannya8786 Mental faculties play into stamina - if he can't focus for long, bad for a battle. Otherwise I'm thinking of the chasm event where he couldn't maintain the platform for the whole time as an example of bad stamina.

Post fountaine childe is definitely stronger than Shenhe and possibly on Xiao's or Cloud Retainer's level because Narwhal required Neuvilette to be defeated and Childe was able to stop the Narwhal for a month inside his foul legacy without hydro vision. 2. Wanderer has actual feat that would put him above everyone on that list, namely soloing his own archon-form (in Chinese translation Nahida doesn't refer to him as some god, but as archon type of being). Nobody on that list has such feat of strength. Even Xiao and Cloud retainer didnt fight archon level of enemies, but lesser gods and remains of the gods that Morax has defeated. 3. Neuvilette technically isn't archon so he could be on that list, altough he is stronger than even archons
Wanderer wasn’t an actual archon tho. He didn’t get the power of an archon either. Based on name alone we can’t just assume he had powers of an archon. We can compare his full power to another archon’s full power, ei. During the 500+ year battle against the shogun, the traveller didn’t even participate in the battle since he would have gotten hurt so ei fought her off alone. Meanwhile god schara was defeated by traveller with nahida’s samsara loop and the power of dreams. That is similar to how traveller defeated ei in a sparring match where it required 100 ambitions/visions and yae miko to defeat ei in a spar. Based on the ei vs shogun battle and the arlecchino battle we can say traveller cannot go against an archon if the archon actually tried, even with help, schara got beaten by traveller and the archon did trap him in a samsara loop but that doesn’t do much considering that schara should just always win if he was archon level. Nahida is a low archon level and traveller is below archon level and they beat schara god form.

Scaramouche based on the end of Sumeru should effortlessly be the most powerful on this list.He defeated himself in his god state by himself when Traveler needed all of sumerus power a god and over 100 loops where he lost just to learn his attack patterns perfectly.

A feat of Wanderer is defeating his former self, the arcane lord of wisdom. Who was on the level of an archon stated multiple times by Nahida. Even Dottore admitted he wouldn’t know how to control Scaramouche after his ascension so Wanderer defeating him with a newly awakened vision is pretty impressive and would prolly earn him a higher ranking (in my opinion btw)

3:18 I think it's always misunderstood that the traveller is stronger than childe because of how the english translations are done, because we never really beat him, if you paid close enough attention you would recall that in fact the traveler was struggling to keep up the pace and hold childe back, he then just proceeded with his plan to use the sigils and set Osial free once he discovered the gnosis was gone (in fact he beat us to it since we couldn't avoid him to reach for the gnosis in the exuvia) so it was no use to him to stay there fighting us. Although, it's true that later on his CQ he says he is still recovering from the fight since the foul legacy puts him under great constraint, meaning that on that time the power of both Childe and the Traveller should have at least been kinda similar
id imagine so. people get stronger as time goes on. childes character arc is about him growing into becoming the strongest and finding new sources of power anywhere he can find it
I want the Traveler knocked down. Repeatedly. Without fail. And I want the Captain to be the most humble person alive while doing so. On a serious note just like Arlecchino's story quest I really hope they show just how massive the difference is. Sure the Traveler has shown they can wield multiple elements at once and whatever their native powers were were likely beyond gods, but they don't have their original power or their sword. Just something that reminds the Traveler they're up against several incredibly strong factions that won't wait for them to wake up.
Well, since we are already powerscaling... Why not. 5. Childe He's been the one character with the most growth in terms of power since the beginning. In his SQ, he was already stronger than in Liyue's archon quest, in Inazuma, he was probably stronger too since he was properly healed at the time, and then, in fontaine, we see that stamina seems to not be an issue anymore, as he fought for 40-ish days the narwal, who is a very strong adversary. 4. Xiao - Honestly, he is pretty tied with Childe, i think he has less stamina, but overall better experience and fighting prowess. I'm putting him above Childe because he is still THE Yaksha 3: Cloud Retainer - Basically the same reason as Xiao, except she is also super hyper smart. 2. Scara: Yeah, not big surprise, Scaramouche defeat his godly counterpart, not much to say other than that. 1. Arlecchino: Right now, i think she is the strongest, wielder of both vision and delusion, on top of a curse, stronger than the ex knave while being a fucking CHILD, and basically no diffed a team of 5 element traveler + Lyney, Lynette and Freminet (Which are trained assassins btw)
Good points, however the traveler didn't use any of their elements neither did freminet I believe and Lynette barely used any and the same goes for Lyney.
Childe had escaped the Fortress just before we were sent down there. Our 'sentence' lasted 45 days, after which the Furina Trial happened. So it's safe to say Childe had been fighting the Whale for 50-60 days on end aka TWO MONTHS without pause.
Keep in mind, In the Arlecchino quest, Lyney stated that Arlecchino didn't well full 100 on them because she was only testing their loyalty to the hearth family instead of her and this begs the question of how much destruction will she likely cause if Arlecchino goes at full power despite of her being the 4th rank of the Harbingers.
I agree with this. And smth that interests me is if she is truly just the 4th harbinger, or she’s just content with replacing that last harbinger in that place. Think about it.
Honestly by the end of the story Childe will probably be one of the strongest humans out there. A few years ago he could barely stay in FLT for a few minutes and now he fought the All Devouring Narwhal a creature that made Neuvillette piss his pants for weeks without stopping. If he completes his training with Skirk he will for sure surpass Arlecchino in strength.
Great list, just a thing on Arlecchino from my understand of her storyline the "secret power" that make her defeat Crucabena was the Pyro Vision that she kept a secret from her until the battle. So at that time she already had the pyro vision.
Its a mix of both (khaenriah power + vision) but its strange that her getting a vision was never actually showed maybe she is just lying and can use pyro without vision? Maybe im just making conspiracy theories lol
@@PoyoPoyomfs to be fair, the Crimson Moon Dynasty curse is called the "Balemoon Bloodfire" and it "burns within her" - so she can use pyro without a vision, but she does have both a functional pyro vision and a functional pyro delusion as well. Her vision story tells us that.

Division came later if I remember her vision story I think it came between the Year gap Clervie and Crucebina's deaths. If you actually watch the animated short you can notice the difference between her using her balemoon fire and her using regular pyro from the Vision. But she does use both during the fight the regular fire from the Vision is orangery whilst balemoon fire is the dark crimson red

Arguably Klee if we count pure destruction. Probably not a contender for 1v1 but likely for wiping out bosses or sheer force. Just the she doesn't really want to hurt anyone aside perhaps the fish of cider lake.
Imho, there are power tiers, but people in them might considerably differ in power despite being on the same tier. 1. Higher gods. 2. Dragon sovereigns (possibly sharing #1) 3. Archons. 4. Sub-archons/ demigods (Arlecchino, Adepti, Xiao, powerful youkai, Albedo? Wanderer?) 5. Elite warriors ( Boring Adult, Kaeya, Beidou, Ningguang, Cy-yes, Amber's girlfriend, Kazuha??Kazuha desu, Sara) 6. Adventurers/People with some combat training (pyro Super Bomberman with extremely bad luck, Fischl, Amber, Noelle, all of Madame Ping's students esp Hu Tao) 7. People with visions, barely any combat training (Layla, Barbara, Diona, Discount Gremlin) Tier 6 might have the biggest power gaps between each other, as these I'm left to judge based on fighting animations.
I'm actually quite thankful you didn't include Neuvillette on this list, for 2 main reasons: 1: Neuvillette is above the gods as a direct reincarnation of the original Dragon Sovereign of Water, so even if he was qualified for this list, it would be too unfair for him. In other words, the placement would be too obvious is he were here. 2: He kinda is the new Hydro Archon in some way, as you probably know. He did say he takes up the duties of the Hydro Archon while also being the Sovereign and Iudex.

Of course, if and when Capitano and Columbina roll around, it will certainly change, but Arlecchino is certainly up there.

this is silly and overall just a theory but: we know from perinheri that arle is connected to the original house of the hearth in the bale moon dynasty. y'know the original orphanage that was after descenders, so it is my personal theory that Arle is an attempt at recreating a descender, be it the attempt failing or something else being why she ended up in the hose of the hearth we know today. her connection to that being a pretty neat explanation for her glitching, she wasn't meant to be here overall just a theory but the connection is there. perinheri ties into so much, istg, even the original fischl is probably in the middle of all this so I personally do think Arle would make top 5 even if we include the gods in the list
If you look at the track record about Hoyo making multiverse, Shenhe design is coming to Honkai 3rd too, that's mean she will become important characters too in future, just like how they gonna make characters like Yae Miko, Raiden Ei, and Unknown God have important role in future because basically they are Yae Sakura, Raiden Mei, and Kiana HoV version of Honkai 3rd
While I get it that it's your opinion, and I agree this ranking is mostly right, I can't help but think that Shenhe and Wanderer are way below one of the early game characters: Lisa.m, even though she kinda falls in Miko's case. Aside from the fact that she's been recognized as the best student of the Akademiya (even above Alhaitham, Kaveh and Faruzan who are recognized geniuses), Lisa's powers are always told to be on another level to what people have ever seen before (the Abyss mage in her quest, or Razor's about Lisa). Then, add in the fact that no less than 4 characters so far have hinted or suggested that Lisa is way stronger than she seems, namely Albedo, Mona, Diluc and Jean. Finally there's a fact about her that should definitely place her higher than the Wanderer: Lisa was INVITED to join the Hexenzirkle. Not as an apprentice, but as one of the presiding witches. She turned them down, because she doesn't like the Hexenzirkle, but still, she's been recognized as strong enough to join an organization that hosts many of the most powerful individuals in Teyvat and beyond, the same organization that wanted to take on a literal ARCHON just to find out if they actually could, ie FOR FUN. When we see what these witches have been able to do so far on an individual scale (Nicole being able to bypass Irminsul and invade minds to talk to people no matter where on Teyvat, Gold's monstrous nonsense, Alice's bullsh*t 💀), it speaks volumes in my opinion on what kind of feat Lisa is actually capable of when she ever so decides to stop being that Lazy Purple Witch from the library.
Im still watching the video but i just wanna say that childe became stronger so he should be on number 5 instead of shenhe, he is basically the true protagonist of teyvat and our rival so you can't use something from 1.1 (i think) because he is the kind of character that will become stronger with us as time passes and him fighting the whale should be enough proof. and sorry if im not good at explaining my thoughts i was never good at it xd (don't worry im not hating or something i like your videos) Also arlecchino still counts as human even if its an enhanced human.
Hey! I think you have it pretty right! Especially Wanderers and Xiao! Arlecchino is scary! The look on the Traveler’s face when she simply touched him on the shoulder and he realized she’d spared him. She is much more powerful than the Traveler and she made the decision not to kill him! What a power play! The traveler will be thinking about their battle and Arlecchino’s strength and if they can ever defeat her.
there was a really interesting theory that i saw a bit ago by Minsleif on youtube, i dont totally remember what it was abt but it was how (supposedly) teyvat has two worlds and arlecchino was a error in teyvat and that she was from the other world, after after watching that theory i think its valid that you put her at number 1, but if you want to watch the video there are a LOT of spoilers abt the future of genshins story so beware

Clervie waa the same age as Arlecchino and Arlecchino revealed Clervie died at the age of sixteen meaning Arlecchino was also sixteen. Year later she would be 17
about arlechino's speed, what's most impressive isn't the fact that she moved so quickly, but that she stopped without feeling the effect of her speed's momentum. even if her feet stopped, they should still have moved as if sliding on the ground for a bit. her body too should have moved, but her back didn't flinched and her head didn't bow neither. the only way to move this fast without feeling the effect of momentum with our irl body limitations would be that it's not that she was fast, but that time was either slowed down for us, but not for her or that her own time was fast forwarding. this would give the illusion that she's much faster, while in reality, she's moving at casual speed with the distrotion of time making her look fast to anyone else's eyes. if so, this isn't a question of speed, but a question of time manipulation and THAT is far more dangerous in a fight. who knows. maybe she have the shade of time in her family tree. this could explain how, even if kaenriah's blood is in her vein, she wasn't turned into a hilichurl. she is cursed, like dainsleif and pierro, but her curse seems different then theirs. also, she's far younger and while kaeya have kaenriah's blood in his veins, he's not cursed at all. if she really is a relative of a shade, maybe her family escaped the curse thanks to this. if so, her curse would about something her kaenriah blood have with or without the influence of a shade. time manipulation could also explain why she seems to glitch. this could be comparable to her slowing time, moving away, returning as much as possible where she was and with the position she had and then stop manipulating time. there's no proof that the primordial one's shade can't have kids of their own. the people of kaenriah were, lorewise, once seeing "gods" descends from celestia to see them. maybe the shade of time descended and felt something for someone cursed by the crimson moon, making it so that from this point on, every generation up to arlechino had the curse, but also a fraction of a shade's power. yanfei and ganyu are living proof that adepty can have kids with humains. candace is said to have king deshret's blood coursing trough her veins (king deshret was pretty much an archon, but without a gnosis, like ei, as mikoto's twin sister, before mikoto died or like the godess of flowers from sumera's surastana festival. if so, why wouldn't a shade be able to have kids of it's own? still, it's just a theory of mine. 🙂

I generally agree with your list (Genshin powerscaling is hard) but I’m a little iffy abt Shenhe’s place as you are too. Imo it’s hard to rank Shenhe, Albedo, Lisa, Miko in terms of power and who’s the strongest out of the 4 so it makes sense that to have a hard time choosing.
I have a personal headcanon/ theory that Arlecchino is an Emanator of Calamity. The crimson moon sounds like enna, who although appears as a puppet, but is actually just the eye. Maybe the blood moon is an Aeon, witnessing the fall of nations/worlds when it appears. And Arle is said to be "Blursed" by the blood moon, so it sounds like she was gazed upon by the moon...
When I think of strong(in lore) genshin characters I never think of Shenhe XD. She is a human without anything making her especially buffed. She was trained by adepti and knows some of their magic but... Childe have Delusion and Foul Legacy - something from Abyss buffing him, Cyno has fraction of god powers, Miko is very old yokai and she seems very strong
It's funny when you said that because, if you apply Xianxia logic to what you said... well learning magical arts is a part of cultivation, and using foul legacy would be similar to the practice of demon cultivation.
And to be fair, with the top 3 already established, it's important to remember Arle was given number 4th seat. Because it's very likely crucabena wasn't even the 4th harbinger at that time. Plus, she is likely to have gotten only stronger since. One thing Arle likes to mention is how those dignitaries never leave the comfort of their homes. She also is like a field agent to be honest lol. She has had more time to hone and train her skills. It could be that she too has the power to rival the gods but once seated you can't unseat a Harbinger unless they are killed. Leaving her at number 4.

i agree with your in-universe reasoning but I think the writers intentionally stated "up to number 3" to tell the audience that those specifically are the ones on a different level. I think Arlecchino is more like the peak of strength below the archons' level
since childe is so adamant on learning the art of combat i imagine that after the fight with the traveler he probably miht have significantly improved since then

Personally, I think there's more to Arleccino than just being of a Khanrhian bloodline. If you read her "Foul Legacy" form's info when her second phase starts, it reads "Ember of Two World's Flame". With that in mind, everyone with Khanrhian descendance has the primogem pupil (Kaeya is how this was confirmed) and Arle doesn't. Instead, her eyes are black with a red x for a pupil, completely different from all others. I think that she is a descendant of a Descender, mayhaps even the Third, which was used to create the Gnosis, which is why she has the innate pyro abilities
For the Wanderer doomsday case,Doomsday is powerful in regards to fighting Kal-El without dying,He still has a weakness.Which is Kryptonite,And thus he can be defeated the same way that Superman. Wanderer’s weakness was thinking that he can’t be defeated because he was made by a god.

We literally have the same list except for 5. I put Childe there because I believe in him :D but I have more respect for Shenhe now that you've stated the facts we know. She'd have to be 6. As for Ganyu... I don't know. She was present on those wars but with what she said about the traveler, who knows. Albedo... we'd have to know more about the art of Khemia to rank him I think. So surely he appears in an archon quest someday to see it.
I know my favorite character is not the strongest in gameplay but it's pretty strong in lower but maybe not the strongest speaking of which has anyone else noticed that The Traveler it seems to struggle with using the elements in cutscenes what I mean is is that whenever you see them try to use them to cut scenes you always see this face as if they're giving it their 100% all trying to focus while using them it's a look on their face I've always thought that was interesting also I'm not trying to say that theory or anything but it's interesting and that maybe that's the reason why you've seen them not use their elements and cut scenes as often😅

I agree on the power scaling issues when you see the traveler get tossed by the wife of Osialis but then again he did recover and eventually helped Shenhe beat it underwater, so I think saying Shenhe was stronger than Childe might be a bit wonky. Let's just say Childe and Shene are tied for me if I were to make my own list other than that top 4 through 1 is perfect.

I'm listening to your description of Child and can't help thinking how suspicious he is after Arlecchino story quest. I mean are we sure he is a human and not a shadow? Real Ajax could have been eaten by the narwhal and then the one we encounter would be another shadow created as a result of that. Narwhal already has a shadow inside of him, it sounds possible that another one could have escaped and started messing around.
About the Traveler - "monster that could swallow the whole world in a single bite" that sounds like crazy powerful. Neuvillette with his hydro dragon sovereign authority. Tartaglia will get super strong too. Zhongli, Venti and Raiden, are monsters that have not shown their full power too. So top 5 for me would be: 1) Traveler 2) Neuvillette 3) Zhongli 4) Venti 5) Raiden Once Tartaglia gets buffed he could be top 5 too, and many new characters like Il Capitan who is said to be "the strongest being in Teyvat If we exclude Gods. 1) Traveler 2) Neuvillette 3) Arlecchino 4) Tartaglia 5) Wanderer (maybe?)
What about traveler? They haven't fought half or more of these (besides Arlecchino) in years pretty much. They could be far more. Powerful due to the elements (and no, I would still say Arlecchino is most powerful). Cloud retainer is also weird, if you base it off of multiple things, like mechanics, then I believe there should be a place for others. I'm also guessing that Dragon Sovereigns count as primordial good, which is why Neuvillette isn't listed.
Why does NO BODY EVER mention the description of the Primordial Jade Winged Spear? Xiao played an integral part in defeating Baqiu, who Zhongli alone couldn't take down and is implied to be significantly stronger than Osial. Zhongli then created the spear and fought and finally defeated Baqiu together with Xiao. Not only is Xiao himself extremely powerful, but he also has an extremely overpowered weapon.

Kazuha's 2nd vision is plot armor. He didn't even get to use it again. It was basically his friend's desire to help Kazuha by blocking the Musou no hitotachi(not at full power, else it would destroy Inazuma city behind him, the Shogun isn't stupid.) so his vision activated 1 last time.

If you slow it down at 3:51 you can see that Childe wasn't coming out of the Narwhal's mouth. He actually came out of the portal directly under the All devouring Narwhal.
This means that for however long Childe was fighting the Narwhal, it never managed to consume him.

Power ranking in Genshin is a messy business, since we usually don't get concrete facts and strength of the characters is situational (Childe was clapped by the Traveler, then fought a space whale leviathan for Primordial One knows how long), but judging by what we've seen so far on screen, I have no objections regarding the list.
As a Lisa main, I have to mention our Purple Witch here, since although, her exact power level is unknown, it was hinted that she's quite scary:
1. Her nonchalant attitude after Stormterror's attack on Monstadt as well as her dialogue with Jean when we first see her may suggest that she's capable enough to take on Stormterror.
2. The Abyss mage who stole the book in Lisa's story quest, plainly says that Lisa "conceals" her "true identity"...then dies a horrible death. Albedo and Diluc are also among the characters who suggested that there's more to Lisa than meets the eye.
3. Her elemental power is so strong that she turns the sky dark when she concentrates it.
4. During the first summer event, Jean trusted Lisa to guard the Monstadt, basically stating that the city is safe as long as Lisa is there.
5. Her status as the best student of the Akademiya in centuries is a common knowledge already, so there's not much to add here.
Thats called character progression, goku becomes stronger with training as time passes and doesn't stay with the same powerlevel he had on og dragon ball and childe is the same.

If nothing else, that Arlecchino quest was a well-deserved wake up call for the players. We've all been so used to our broken-ass teams casually clearing Abyss on every refresh that we tend to forget that, lore-wise, we are just the Traveler and the Traveler is currently still just a chump whose recent victories were only achieved by the skin of their teeth and with the help from a LOT of people on our side.

Tartaglia growth is outpacing the Traveler. Every time he re appeared after the Liyue AQ, he was stated (or at least implied.)
Just the fact Tartaglia was able to fight the whale without being devoured (Neuvi states that he held the whale back, allowing them enough time for the furina trial), and that unlike the traveler, he didnt have Restored Authority Neuvillette to separate the power of the primordial sea from the whale. He should at least be equal or superior to 5E traveler. Even when he appeared in that one Inazuma event, he was already implied to be stronger than the Traveler who had already defeated Signora.
Unlike the Traveler who stumbles up mighty foes due to fate, Tartaglia is actually looking for fights and strives to become stronger due to his nature and it's clearly shown during the little exhcange with Neuviiette and the Narwhal battle. I wouldn't be surprised if he already surpassed higher ranked Harbingers at this point. (Below Arle ofc)

3:52 we know that childe must have been fighting the narwhal for at least a few weeks to a month. Due to the fact that we were given a month long sentence in the fortress to look for his whereabouts, we know childe had already escaped before we enter the fortress, and that the rumors of the hidden pipes rule have already been established for quite awhile. And the 4.2 archon quest starts with the end of that one month sentence it all depends on how long it took for Childe to find the narwhal unless his falling into the abyss lead him immediately to said narwhal.
Plus childe been training ever since traveler defeats him in liyue AQ, I think he said to us or paimon at some point maybe in the event or what i forget but he's getting stronger since liyue AQ and he want to spar with the traveler again

I feel like Albedo deserves an Honorary Mention here. We had Dainsleif tell and warn us of Albedo’s Art of Khemia, as well as Albedo himself saying that if he ever goes rampage he can depend on us to stop him. He was taught by Gold for … who knows how long, so he definitely possesses the knowledge of utilizing the Art of Khemia to … whatever extent it’s capable of. We even see him half-create a geovishap!!! On a whim!!!!! Sucrose stopped this man when he went in for the creation, he’s evidently made it a habit of creating life and- omg, he made a picture of Paimon … he could of doomed the world with two Paimons and no one’s realized that yet …
There’s also that one thing where he ate a spider, for whatever that could entail.
So yeah … Albedo has the strength to destroy a Nation. He has the means, he has the knowledge, he just doesn’t have the intent. Imagine what he could and would do, if destroying a Nation was something he deemed necessary for whatever reason.
i really did consider albedo. in my other more general video, i included Rhinedottir as one of the strongest beings in Teyvat, simply because of what shes was able to do with the art of khemia.

Dainsleif even said that the Art of Khemia caused the destruction of Khaenri’ah, and while that is rather interesting info alone, without any additional explanation, we don’t know if it was the unfortunate effort of teamwork, or the workings of one individual who used the Art of Khemia to destroy the Nation, and we don’t know if it was intentional or accidental … and with the recent discovery of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, the possibility of it being intentional has severely increased a bit. Continuing on this conversation would be leading away from Albedo … well, kind of leading away, since he uses the Art of Khemia, the power scaling of the Art of Khemia does somewhat matter to him, so until the Art of Khemia’s scale of capabilities are more understood, I will liken Albedo to a Whopperflower, and Rhinedottir to a Regisvine, and if there is an evolution beyond Regisvine, then I’ll give that evolution to the entirety of the Crimson Moon Dynasty.
I think what excluded Albedo from the list is because he has no actual feats. The game just says he could do these or that but doesn't show that he can actually these kind of things although he would be top tier if he can actually walk the walk.

I think you could argue PRIME Xiao beats Scaramouche/Wanderer, but in present, Xiao's biggest weakness (his karma/stamina) is one of Scara/Wanderer's biggest strengths. side note: when they say "500 years in the abyss" we don't know if that is abyss time or non-abyss time, so they might have the same "time" of experience.
How is stamina a weakness for xiao if he has been shown to be able to fight for days? His whole deal is that he has to be vigilant at all times, that's why he can show up whenever his name is called. And doesn't the accumulated karma fuel his bloodlust making him even more effective in combat? The problem is that his mental faculties decline

1. Post fountaine childe is definitely stronger than Shenhe and possibly on Xiao's or Cloud Retainer's level because Narwhal required Neuvilette to be defeated and Childe was able to stop the Narwhal for a month inside his foul legacy without hydro vision.
2. Wanderer has actual feat that would put him above everyone on that list, namely soloing his own archon-form (in Chinese translation Nahida doesn't refer to him as some god, but as archon type of being). Nobody on that list has such feat of strength. Even Xiao and Cloud retainer didnt fight archon level of enemies, but lesser gods and remains of the gods that Morax has defeated.
3. Neuvilette technically isn't archon so he could be on that list, altough he is stronger than even archons
Wanderer wasn’t an actual archon tho. He didn’t get the power of an archon either. Based on name alone we can’t just assume he had powers of an archon. We can compare his full power to another archon’s full power, ei. During the 500+ year battle against the shogun, the traveller didn’t even participate in the battle since he would have gotten hurt so ei fought her off alone. Meanwhile god schara was defeated by traveller with nahida’s samsara loop and the power of dreams. That is similar to how traveller defeated ei in a sparring match where it required 100 ambitions/visions and yae miko to defeat ei in a spar. Based on the ei vs shogun battle and the arlecchino battle we can say traveller cannot go against an archon if the archon actually tried, even with help, schara got beaten by traveller and the archon did trap him in a samsara loop but that doesn’t do much considering that schara should just always win if he was archon level. Nahida is a low archon level and traveller is below archon level and they beat schara god form.

A feat of Wanderer is defeating his former self, the arcane lord of wisdom. Who was on the level of an archon stated multiple times by Nahida. Even Dottore admitted he wouldn’t know how to control Scaramouche after his ascension so Wanderer defeating him with a newly awakened vision is pretty impressive and would prolly earn him a higher ranking (in my opinion btw)

3:18 I think it's always misunderstood that the traveller is stronger than childe because of how the english translations are done, because we never really beat him, if you paid close enough attention you would recall that in fact the traveler was struggling to keep up the pace and hold childe back, he then just proceeded with his plan to use the sigils and set Osial free once he discovered the gnosis was gone (in fact he beat us to it since we couldn't avoid him to reach for the gnosis in the exuvia) so it was no use to him to stay there fighting us. Although, it's true that later on his CQ he says he is still recovering from the fight since the foul legacy puts him under great constraint, meaning that on that time the power of both Childe and the Traveller should have at least been kinda similar

On a serious note just like Arlecchino's story quest I really hope they show just how massive the difference is. Sure the Traveler has shown they can wield multiple elements at once and whatever their native powers were were likely beyond gods, but they don't have their original power or their sword. Just something that reminds the Traveler they're up against several incredibly strong factions that won't wait for them to wake up.

5. Childe He's been the one character with the most growth in terms of power since the beginning. In his SQ, he was already stronger than in Liyue's archon quest, in Inazuma, he was probably stronger too since he was properly healed at the time, and then, in fontaine, we see that stamina seems to not be an issue anymore, as he fought for 40-ish days the narwal, who is a very strong adversary.
4. Xiao - Honestly, he is pretty tied with Childe, i think he has less stamina, but overall better experience and fighting prowess. I'm putting him above Childe because he is still THE Yaksha
3: Cloud Retainer - Basically the same reason as Xiao, except she is also super hyper smart.
2. Scara: Yeah, not big surprise, Scaramouche defeat his godly counterpart, not much to say other than that.
1. Arlecchino: Right now, i think she is the strongest, wielder of both vision and delusion, on top of a curse, stronger than the ex knave while being a fucking CHILD, and basically no diffed a team of 5 element traveler + Lyney, Lynette and Freminet (Which are trained assassins btw)

Keep in mind, In the Arlecchino quest, Lyney stated that Arlecchino didn't well full 100 on them because she was only testing their loyalty to the hearth family instead of her and this begs the question of how much destruction will she likely cause if Arlecchino goes at full power despite of her being the 4th rank of the Harbingers.

Honestly by the end of the story Childe will probably be one of the strongest humans out there. A few years ago he could barely stay in FLT for a few minutes and now he fought the All Devouring Narwhal a creature that made Neuvillette piss his pants for weeks without stopping. If he completes his training with Skirk he will for sure surpass Arlecchino in strength.

Great list, just a thing on Arlecchino from my understand of her storyline the "secret power" that make her defeat Crucabena was the Pyro Vision that she kept a secret from her until the battle. So at that time she already had the pyro vision.
Its a mix of both (khaenriah power + vision) but its strange that her getting a vision was never actually showed maybe she is just lying and can use pyro without vision?

@@PoyoPoyomfs to be fair, the Crimson Moon Dynasty curse is called the "Balemoon Bloodfire" and it "burns within her" - so she can use pyro without a vision, but she does have both a functional pyro vision and a functional pyro delusion as well. Her vision story tells us that.

Division came later if I remember her vision story I think it came between the Year gap Clervie and Crucebina's deaths. If you actually watch the animated short you can notice the difference between her using her balemoon fire and her using regular pyro from the Vision.
But she does use both during the fight the regular fire from the Vision is orangery whilst balemoon fire is the dark crimson red

5. Elite warriors ( Boring Adult, Kaeya, Beidou, Ningguang, Cy-yes, Amber's girlfriend, Kazuha??Kazuha desu, Sara)
6. Adventurers/People with some combat training (pyro Super Bomberman with extremely bad luck, Fischl, Amber, Noelle, all of Madame Ping's students esp Hu Tao)
7. People with visions, barely any combat training (Layla, Barbara, Diona, Discount Gremlin)
Tier 6 might have the biggest power gaps between each other, as these I'm left to judge based on fighting animations.

I'm actually quite thankful you didn't include Neuvillette on this list, for 2 main reasons:
1: Neuvillette is above the gods as a direct reincarnation of the original Dragon Sovereign of Water, so even if he was qualified for this list, it would be too unfair for him. In other words, the placement would be too obvious is he were here.
2: He kinda is the new Hydro Archon in some way, as you probably know. He did say he takes up the duties of the Hydro Archon while also being the Sovereign and Iudex.

this is silly and overall just a theory but:
we know from perinheri that arle is connected to the original house of the hearth in the bale moon dynasty. y'know the original orphanage that was after descenders, so it is my personal theory that Arle is an attempt at recreating a descender, be it the attempt failing or something else being why she ended up in the hose of the hearth we know today.
her connection to that being a pretty neat explanation for her glitching, she wasn't meant to be here

If you look at the track record about Hoyo making multiverse, Shenhe design is coming to Honkai 3rd too, that's mean she will become important characters too in future, just like how they gonna make characters like Yae Miko, Raiden Ei, and Unknown God have important role in future because basically they are Yae Sakura, Raiden Mei, and Kiana HoV version of Honkai 3rd
While I get it that it's your opinion, and I agree this ranking is mostly right, I can't help but think that Shenhe and Wanderer are way below one of the early game characters: Lisa.m, even though she kinda falls in Miko's case.
Aside from the fact that she's been recognized as the best student of the Akademiya (even above Alhaitham, Kaveh and Faruzan who are recognized geniuses), Lisa's powers are always told to be on another level to what people have ever seen before (the Abyss mage in her quest, or Razor's about Lisa). Then, add in the fact that no less than 4 characters so far have hinted or suggested that Lisa is way stronger than she seems, namely Albedo, Mona, Diluc and Jean.
Finally there's a fact about her that should definitely place her higher than the Wanderer: Lisa was INVITED to join the Hexenzirkle. Not as an apprentice, but as one of the presiding witches.
She turned them down, because she doesn't like the Hexenzirkle, but still, she's been recognized as strong enough to join an organization that hosts many of the most powerful individuals in Teyvat and beyond, the same organization that wanted to take on a literal ARCHON just to find out if they actually could, ie FOR FUN.
When we see what these witches have been able to do so far on an individual scale (Nicole being able to bypass Irminsul and invade minds to talk to people no matter where on Teyvat, Gold's monstrous nonsense, Alice's bullsh*t 💀), it speaks volumes in my opinion on what kind of feat Lisa is actually capable of when she ever so decides to stop being that Lazy Purple Witch from the library.

about arlechino's speed, what's most impressive isn't the fact that she moved so quickly, but that she stopped without feeling the effect of her speed's momentum.
even if her feet stopped, they should still have moved as if sliding on the ground for a bit. her body too should have moved, but her back didn't flinched and her head didn't bow neither.
the only way to move this fast without feeling the effect of momentum with our irl body limitations would be that it's not that she was fast, but that time was either slowed down for us, but not for her or that her own time was fast forwarding. this would give the illusion that she's much faster, while in reality, she's moving at casual speed with the distrotion of time making her look fast to anyone else's eyes.
if so, this isn't a question of speed, but a question of time manipulation and THAT is far more dangerous in a fight. who knows. maybe she have the shade of time in her family tree. this could explain how, even if kaenriah's blood is in her vein, she wasn't turned into a hilichurl. she is cursed, like dainsleif and pierro, but her curse seems different then theirs. also, she's far younger and while kaeya have kaenriah's blood in his veins, he's not cursed at all. if she really is a relative of a shade, maybe her family escaped the curse thanks to this. if so, her curse would about something her kaenriah blood have with or without the influence of a shade. time manipulation could also explain why she seems to glitch. this could be comparable to her slowing time, moving away, returning as much as possible where she was and with the position she had and then stop manipulating time.
there's no proof that the primordial one's shade can't have kids of their own. the people of kaenriah were, lorewise, once seeing "gods" descends from celestia to see them. maybe the shade of time descended and felt something for someone cursed by the crimson moon, making it so that from this point on, every generation up to arlechino had the curse, but also a fraction of a shade's power.
yanfei and ganyu are living proof that adepty can have kids with humains. candace is said to have king deshret's blood coursing trough her veins (king deshret was pretty much an archon, but without a gnosis, like ei, as mikoto's twin sister, before mikoto died or like the godess of flowers from sumera's surastana festival. if so, why wouldn't a shade be able to have kids of it's own?

I generally agree with your list (Genshin powerscaling is hard) but I’m a little iffy abt Shenhe’s place as you are too.
Imo it’s hard to rank Shenhe, Albedo, Lisa, Miko in terms of power and who’s the strongest out of the 4 so it makes sense that to have a hard time choosing.

I have a personal headcanon/ theory that Arlecchino is an Emanator of Calamity. The crimson moon sounds like enna, who although appears as a puppet, but is actually just the eye. Maybe the blood moon is an Aeon, witnessing the fall of nations/worlds when it appears. And Arle is said to be "Blursed" by the blood moon, so it sounds like she was gazed upon by the moon...
When I think of strong(in lore) genshin characters I never think of Shenhe XD. She is a human without anything making her especially buffed. She was trained by adepti and knows some of their magic but... Childe have Delusion and Foul Legacy - something from Abyss buffing him, Cyno has fraction of god powers, Miko is very old yokai and she seems very strong
It's funny when you said that because, if you apply Xianxia logic to what you said... well learning magical arts is a part of cultivation, and using foul legacy would be similar to the practice of demon cultivation.
And to be fair, with the top 3 already established, it's important to remember Arle was given number 4th seat. Because it's very likely crucabena wasn't even the 4th harbinger at that time. Plus, she is likely to have gotten only stronger since. One thing Arle likes to mention is how those dignitaries never leave the comfort of their homes. She also is like a field agent to be honest lol. She has had more time to hone and train her skills. It could be that she too has the power to rival the gods but once seated you can't unseat a Harbinger unless they are killed. Leaving her at number 4.

i agree with your in-universe reasoning but I think the writers intentionally stated "up to number 3" to tell the audience that those specifically are the ones on a different level. I think Arlecchino is more like the peak of strength below the archons' level

Personally, I think there's more to Arleccino than just being of a Khanrhian bloodline. If you read her "Foul Legacy" form's info when her second phase starts, it reads "Ember of Two World's Flame". With that in mind, everyone with Khanrhian descendance has the primogem pupil (Kaeya is how this was confirmed) and Arle doesn't. Instead, her eyes are black with a red x for a pupil, completely different from all others. I think that she is a descendant of a Descender, mayhaps even the Third, which was used to create the Gnosis, which is why she has the innate pyro abilities

I know my favorite character is not the strongest in gameplay but it's pretty strong in lower but maybe not the strongest speaking of which has anyone else noticed that The Traveler it seems to struggle with using the elements in cutscenes what I mean is is that whenever you see them try to use them to cut scenes you always see this face as if they're giving it their 100% all trying to focus while using them it's a look on their face I've always thought that was interesting also I'm not trying to say that theory or anything but it's interesting and that maybe that's the reason why you've seen them not use their elements and cut scenes as often😅
I also noticed that most of the time they only use the elements as like a defensive move like blocking melee attacks or something🤔

I agree on the power scaling issues when you see the traveler get tossed by the wife of Osialis but then again he did recover and eventually helped Shenhe beat it underwater, so I think saying Shenhe was stronger than Childe might be a bit wonky. Let's just say Childe and Shene are tied for me if I were to make my own list other than that top 4 through 1 is perfect.

I'm listening to your description of Child and can't help thinking how suspicious he is after Arlecchino story quest. I mean are we sure he is a human and not a shadow? Real Ajax could have been eaten by the narwhal and then the one we encounter would be another shadow created as a result of that. Narwhal already has a shadow inside of him, it sounds possible that another one could have escaped and started messing around.
Arlechinno actually feels like Ulquiorra from Bleach. Both ranked 4 but seems strong enough to contend with Rank 3 or higher.
About the Traveler - "monster that could swallow the whole world in a single bite" that sounds like crazy powerful. Neuvillette with his hydro dragon sovereign authority.
Tartaglia will get super strong too. Zhongli, Venti and Raiden, are monsters that have not shown their full power too.
So top 5 for me would be:
1) Traveler
2) Neuvillette
3) Zhongli
4) Venti
5) Raiden
Once Tartaglia gets buffed he could be top 5 too, and many new characters like Il Capitan who is said to be "the strongest being in Teyvat

What about traveler? They haven't fought half or more of these (besides Arlecchino) in years pretty much. They could be far more. Powerful due to the elements (and no, I would still say Arlecchino is most powerful).
Cloud retainer is also weird, if you base it off of multiple things, like mechanics, then I believe there should be a place for others.
I'm also guessing that Dragon Sovereigns count as primordial good, which is why Neuvillette isn't listed.

Why does NO BODY EVER mention the description of the Primordial Jade Winged Spear? Xiao played an integral part in defeating Baqiu, who Zhongli alone couldn't take down and is implied to be significantly stronger than Osial. Zhongli then created the spear and fought and finally defeated Baqiu together with Xiao. Not only is Xiao himself extremely powerful, but he also has an extremely overpowered weapon.
xiao and like 7 other adepti couldnt beat osial. no shot xiao alone is stronger then him

Klee, idk where she would rank it may be a fight between her and Shenhe but she caused an explosion so big they had to remove a mountain from the maps of mondstat. She's like 5. Imagine her power by the time she's 20 or so.

deflected and parried the raiden shogun's musou no hitotachi which is literally a mountain slicing and god killing attack
even mona acknowledged that in the 3.8 quest he was the strongest among their group (the traveler was also compared yet mona had still considered him the strongest dk if that means he was stronger than the traveler at the time so take this with a grain of salt)

Kazuha's 2nd vision is plot armor. He didn't even get to use it again. It was basically his friend's desire to help Kazuha by blocking the Musou no hitotachi(not at full power, else it would destroy Inazuma city behind him, the Shogun isn't stupid.) so his vision activated 1 last time.
I think the Raiden parry is just an outlier. In any other circumstances he'd turn to ash if he attempts to do that lmao
