very strange that remus is from sumeru and left after deshret conquered his land... because remus and remuria seems to be from the first united civilization (even if the timeline doesn't match), they even have latin names
I think remuria is like the Byzantine empire, which was a "continuation" of the Roman empire, after it fell, if the prophet he met was actually a seele, then remuria was created AFTER the fall of the unified civilization, also considering who both the seeile Remus met and the godess of flowers, talks about the unified civilization, it's like they're describing Rome to a modern person, after all the unified civilization was a time where no god walked amongst humanity, it's already ancient to the god kings

Hey at least Remus kept his people alive. He did probably about as good as the one who conquered his country, Deshret because both people survived but one group turned to stone while Deshret caused the apocalypse.
amen
Here to translate greek words :3
Phobos means fear
Sebastos means respected
Ouranopolis means sky city
Oh and put the word "σκύλα" on google and hear how it pronounces it, thats how you are supposed to say scylla
ah ty!
i really loved this quest
yes it was very good
Bless you for these videos fr, I like the lore but my brain can't comprehend all the yapping😭🙏

I was wilding with this quest because they kept talking about Remus like he was THE PRIMORDIAL ONE! A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING, from beyond the stars. With mentions of how much he loved humanity and that he shared power with FOUR of his homies. Sounds a lot like the PO to me... He's either being wrongly associated with the PO because he's done similar things, or the stuff from Before Sun and Moon are being exaggerated about the PO.
yea dragons just really like the word "usurper" and use it for everyone
@@DawitsLookingforEmiliacorrection they use it for all the gods but there is only one "usurper king from the above" that is the PO
Canticles of Harmony was one of the wildest world quests ever! Right there next to the world quest in Fontaine (both of them).
Pour one out for Bayda “Harbor”
that shits wild huh. not a damn thing there
i read dialogue, books, and character storied all the time but can't consider myself a lore gamer coz i seriously can't piece together all of the lore on my own thank you for explaining this 💀
Kokomi is actually the descendant of from ancient underwater civilization who is inspired by Greek theme.. So Kokomi is from Greek..
isnt enakanomiya supposed to be greece
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia There is that theory that floats which points to all the stand-alone maps (chasm/enkanomiya/remuria) being the same map on the b-side of the main Teyvat.
Why does the golden icore even had the power to store memories I mean its Irminsol special , and gow egeria got it in the first place who was keeping the Irminsol safe before Rukkhadevata, since Egeria was oldest among all archons.
remus created it using the cup of the primordial sea and some special rock, and I mean hes a god
Ok, I don't play genshin anymore, I only have room for one hoyogame in my life and that's star rail rn, BUT
I swear there was a line, late Monstadt or early Liue, that was something to the effect of Celestia declaring that all nations must eventually fall. I thought Venti said it, but I've poured over all his lines on the wiki, no dice. It keeps coming up and it's driving me nuts. Anyone else remember this or am I hallucinating?
hmm, theres a couple written pieces in the game that say what ur getting at but for voiced, the only thing that comes to mind is zhongli telling azdaha something like "i witnessed liyue rise, and ill be there when it falls"
I tried focusing and following the story, but I am bad at reading comprehension so thank you 😂
:D np
Lore explained in the most fun way possible. Love it
:D
The lore of Genshin is really interesting but when its found through side quests with no voicelines that also don't feel like they're in the same world is a bit discouraging for me
Could it be that Remuria is...an allegory of Khaenri'ah? That white cat with blue and golden eyes, that later the traveller just describes as "Ossie" is "Ossie" was also a bit of a giveaway.
atlantean I think. the theme of arrogance is there though
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia
When Dainsleif said that Kheanrian lived in a Corner where the gods gaze do not fall and yet were proud that they were a Civilization built solely by humanity.
I smelled some BS already. Celestia and the Archons left them alone. And we get hints that Kheanrian was probably dreaming of reclaiming the Teyvat.
@@silverhawkscape2677i think khaenri’ah is the united nation of descendant of every civilization used to be destroyed by god and celestial
@@vietcuongnguyenle8530 Honestly. Aside from Dragonspine. How many Civilization we know so far collapsed on their Own VS Celestia nailing them for no reason than existing?
@@silverhawkscape2677 khaenri’ah not just hate celestial, it hate all other god

the palace was mind blowing af... like if i was a king thats what i would build for myself...
Too much information.
🗿 Everything nuts 💀 in the end.
Why most of the God King loves to separate physical bodies and memories or souls despite its their own or their people body. Like King Deshert and who else...
Human is a low level non-elemental creature
Our body is weak, short existence , can’t contain and using super natural power without vision or some crazy curse, talent etc
So by seperate human with their body, it help enhanced human
Make we not have those weakness
Although the problem is human not mentally ready for this “ changing “
the music in this quest was just sublime
Remuria have the Roman Empire vibes to it. The terms and names used. Specially its places name for example like Domus Aurea, which is a Roman empire building built during the reign of Imperator or Emperor Nero. The "Praetorian Golems" which is also base on Roman Praetorian Guards an elite unit of the roman imperial army. Im really interested to Remuria due to this fact that they are incorporating the Roman Empire to it. The Roman Empire boast beautiful architecture and engineering during the late classical antiquity or classical era.
Ah not vibes, it basically is. It's a play on history on happens if Remus won the duel against Romulus.
hope you still remember me. I tried to understand as much as i could from this video but considering i didn't play the quest myself, I couldn't make much sense from it but still a very W video.
Looking forward to GNG vid (hoping next week or 2 weeks take your time)
OH MY GOODDDDD. I PROMISE I HAVENT FORGOTTEN. AS SOON AS WE GET BACK TO STAR RAIL
Smh, the beloved Sustainer of Heavenly principle’s opening statement just makes more and more sense as we progress through the story. Celestia on top!!!
very strange that remus is from sumeru and left after deshret conquered his land... because remus and remuria seems to be from the first united civilization (even if the timeline doesn't match), they even have latin names
@@mitab1 Makes sense if Remus actually wasn't his real name and he choosed or received it after meeting Sybilla. But this line could also discribe the actual (before finish the quest) state of Remuria, with Boethius carrying them.
It has a Lord of Rings and. Atlantis feel to it

i'm disappointed that scylla model is just a recycled narwhal model.
bro i was so confused the first time i saw it lmfao
They certainly look similar, but if you look closely, they are different. Narwhal has only one armored horn on the front, while Scylla has two and they don't seem armored.
I wonder if there is a reason for their similarity.
that's why i said recycled instead of just copy pasted. it is narwhal model with small edits. i haven't read any lore that explain why he looks like the narwhal.
ngl, the whole expansion screams laziness to me. it's so disappointing compared to the last expansion chenyu vale which is amazing.
@@someoneinasiabecause he took another body made of ichor when he decided to follow remus the one that we see is probably not his original form
indeed, but still weird why the ichor body is a recycled narwhal model, instead of basing it on scylla's real body (bathysmal vishap model) or any creature around fontaine.
now scylla can't walk on land. until neuvillette gave him a new body.
I spelled Scylla as "sil-lah" like how you spell the 'sc' in scene. I could be wrong. I really wish they voiced this story. It was big enough lore wise imo.
