What an interesting experiment guys. I am sure you are not surprised by how many views this video did not get based on the title and thumb nail. An interesting commentary on the watch world today. Love it - great concept and execution 👍
A small note on what you say: The plural of Nautilus should be pronounced Nauty-lee (actualy should be Naf-tea-lee but anyway...) because the Erasmian pronunciation is - simply put - wrong. Also Nautiluses isn't wrong because the rule is that the English language borrow the singular form of the foreign words and apply it's own grammatical rules to form the plural. There are always exceptions but this is the main rule. As always, thanks for your insight 👍
It’s very disappointing that Patek’s new flagship ‘sports watch’ still retains the old 5711’s movement. A missed opportunity on Patek’s part IMHO. Totally took the wind out of the sails of my initial excitement at the announcement. Also as it’s made out of white gold rather than steel, I don’t think it will be as popular as it’s predecessor (maybe that’s Stern’s plan?) It’s just far less versatile now…gold is soft and damage prone. Not the ideal metal for a sports watch. But then maybe most collectors just want to add one to their collection, to take out only once in a while to wear anyway 🤷♂️
Patek is reacting to the coming contraction in the China market. Principles are nice but one has to live in the real world and Nautili are how they make as much money as possible.

Was it too hard to change the title?

Is this a video about the Roger Dubuis? Titled wrong.

This guy looks like a young Hugh Hefner
