Holy guacamole! Today Christian and Anthony (our great friend) dive into Roger Dubuis and look at $360,000 worth of watches! What's crazy is that's only two watches: The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S and the Excalibur Flying Tourbillon! Are they gorgeous? Worth it? Technologically incredible? Yes!

Today, Christian dives into two incredible (and incredibly expensive) watches from Roger Dubuis!
First, we have the Aventador S, a collaboration with legendary Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini. As a watch based on the car brand's higher end line, the watch needed to meet the expectations of the Aventador name, and reach those expectations it most certainly did. With a hyper technical openworked dial (showcasing the deadbeat second caliber inside) and a case made of carbon fiber, it really drives home the automotive sport car connection without being too over the top with branding. This connection extends to the strap choice, which is a combination of Alcantara and black rubber (Alcantara being a material used on steering wheels and seats in sports cars, and rubber obviously being sporty as a strap material along with the connection to the tires).
Next up, we have the Excalibur Flying Tourbillon, an equally complex but much more refined timepiece in a 42mm rose gold case. Its dressy case material, mixed with the equally dressy alligator strap, elevate the watch some, but with its incredibly technical dial and complex tourbillon system, it still manages to maintain some of the high horology excellence that Roger Dubuis is known for.
I had fun with this one! Thanks for coming in Christian, always a pleasure.
Always a great time with you too!!
I think it's too big, too expensive and too edgy for most people's tastes but, as an enthusiast, I appreciate them for what they are. Those movements in particular are stunning, and the skeleton is especially well executed.
Said it better than I could.
I love how this channel, its content, and its content creators have all been steadily progressing and evolving over the past couple years. I remember the "Seiko Sucks" video from a while back, and then the amazing video Christian did for the Grand Seiko Superman earlier this year lol. One of the highlights of my week is getting the T&H notification on my phone. I enjoy watching passionate people do and talk about what they love. Kudos on the success and wishing you all much more to come.
Never understood these watches, the watch cost more than the car that its based on 😂😂
Exactly! That's crazy😂😂
The Aventador starts aT 600,000 and goes over a million. You're talking nonsense.
I really enjoyed the conversational aspect of this video.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur knights of the round table is one of my favorite watches
Isn't it just Superb ".
Hey, there's that other guy I follow on social media! 😃
Great vid guys and nice watches!
I'm digging it, nice colab, and subtle no massive branding like the Ferrari and GP colab. Especially that strap, now I'm off to find an affordable version of the strap lol
Absolutely stunning!
Roger Dubuis timepieces are definitely not for everybody but that’s what makes the brand special and generic people don’t see it. Just like not everyone likes MB&F but they make unique, interesting and tasteful pieces
Agreed!
Nice video, thank you T&H. I agree with what Liam McCabe said. Even if I had the $$$$, I would pick something else.
Where is that sweater from Christian? Looks real nice
Roger Dubuis what a Gift to Horology he was & is , if I Ever Own a True Luxury Watch it will be His "... Salute Mr Dubuis
wow
i like it!
That thumbnail....
I wish I could see more watches that use an American gold coin as a dial.
“Maaaannen” that was weird! As you introduced him you called him “the man” in Swedish with quite good accent :-)
of all the watches in the store this is what you pick...how many people can realistically buy this???
I'm not as much of a fan of these newer Roger Dubuis pieces. Much prefer the early ones such as the Hommage and Sympathie, the ones that were being made back when Roger Dubuis was still with the firm.
Amazing “under the radar” brand. Haute horology at its finest. True, not for everyone but wear a Dubuis for a day and you’ll understand why they fetch $$$$.
I thought Roger’s business partner moved the brand into the direction it’s at now.
What happened to the last video 👀
Give away news coming FRIDAY!
$250.000 x 2000= $500.000.000 😊
200k? I think they carry Ferdinand Berthold. In my book, much nicer than those.
Boderry Chinese watch with 72hr power reserve looks like the RD for under $200.
200k USD and they can’t even make a clasp of the same material as the watch case🤔. And really, out of everything you have in the salon that Roger Dubuis is your favourite? I am pretty sure there are much nicer Royal Oaks than this. Both watches are hideous
Says the one who profile name is AP....
@@alexandruciripan2781 it’s “whose” you uneducated pillock
This is a matter of taste.
That blue one is gorgeous
Zzzzz Celestial all day
What a disgusting brand, honestly I’m baffled these are even selling
