Anxiety can be uncomfortable but it doesn’t last forever we’ll all be alright this help me understand how it works with anxiety feeling “ intrusive thoughts don’t define our character or predict our actions having intrusive thoughts did not equate to a desire or intent to act upon it” help understand that feeling are respawning to are anxiety alarm and if doesn’t mean we’re gonna act up or something bad gonna happen just normal human reaction and it’s ok

      Try Letting go instead.
"Letting go involves being aware of a feeling, letting it come up, staying with it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make it different or do ..."
      "What does letting go mean?
to stop thinking about or being angry about the past or something that happened in the past: She finds it hard to let go of a grudge. You need to let the past go and forgive those who have hurt you. SMART Vocabulary: related words and phrases. Falling and dropping.6 days ago
LET GO | definition in the Cambridge English Dictionary"
"Why is letting go so hard?
Letting go is hard because it means that you need to free yourself from some aspects of your past. Things that have become a part of yourself - of what makes you who you are today. Most people understand this as getting rid of that 'thing' resulting to a change in who you are. You can find letting go to be scary.May 30, 2020

My friend dont worry ... I know how it feels and hurts. But i can say you only one thing... Anxiety and panic attack is not real and it is not permanent. Last year i had anxiety when was suffering from covid 19, symptoms like panic attack, chest pain, difficulty in breathing , sudden jerk in sleep, continuous head ache , fear of heart attack, fear of stroke, fear of sound were hunting me each and every seconds. I went to depression ,i can sleep only 30 mins that too rarely. Those sleepless night exist more than 70 days..
My mind was saying .. thats all, im over , i can't live, fear of unknown disease , fear of my job ,fear of my future all ..
I tried to spend most of my time in searching youtube and i got relax when i saw people commenting same as me...
Later i motivated my self and i accept that i have anxiety and i believed that i can manage it. The symptoms that exists are not real ( i know it is very very difficult to believe ) but if you start accept and believe yourself . Then day by day each and every symptoms will disappear.
Believe me now i feel very bad for those days because i waste my time in unwanted fear which are really not exist.
So please give time for it you can definitely recover.no need medicine ..nothing...
Even i had short term memory loss😂..
      But that too my imagination..
We cant express our real feelings about anxiety to our friends and family.
Only anxiety community can understand it better 😀❤️❤️..

I had a brutal relapse of my anxiety yesterday - stressful day at work - but good stress - then meeting up with some friends after work that seemed to increase my anxiety more and on the way home my heart started freaking out - then felt dizzy and got vertigo - and then the massive crying came out - the whole episode lasted a good 3 hours of symptoms triggering on and off - mainly my heart freaking out. I would not wish this condition on my worst enemy. It is horrible to live with and you really think you are going to die there and now. But I went to work the next day and was as productive as I usually am - albeit with hardly any sleep last night. This video brought tears to my eyes - it was so calming, and I can see you understand exactly what an anxiety sufferer deals with every day. God bless you for posting this : )

I accept and allow these thoughts.” You don’t have to like it or agree with your thoughts. You are not your thoughts. I know it’s hard but it does get better. Things do get better, I promise 🤍

Here’s to hoping there won’t be any more re-triggering happening tonight, but, if it does, now I know where to go.

Sometimes there's nothing else we can do but this. Everything else will have to wait. We all could use a pause button every now & then. I like to think of my anxiety attacks as a way of my body reminding me it's time to pause for a little bit. When you're overwhelmed, you're overwhelmed. I had to learn to accept that & how to take the time to sit down & take care of those feelings.

It is amazing how your comment is not liked and observed - yet you said it all.
This is dysregulation - if we decide to nitpick it, we will make it worse. Like urticaria, allergy skin rash - if we scratch it , it will spread and be worse even though it feels soothing to scratch. On the other hand, if we wait it out, it will calm down on its own, perhaps with the help of oilment.
The idea to label something uncomfortable as danger and something to attack and destroy instead of listening it or studying it is called Ableism. And that is CBT - it is therapy of narcissistic errors, based on ableism - to destroy and negate anything that is outside of the norm so that abusers and psychopaths who are causing the chaos are not bothered by our complaints about their abuse.
Goodness is chosen. When a man cannot choose, he ceases to be a man.

This CD is very calming ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq the first meditation focuses on breathing, the second guides you through the Buddhist metta bhavana--loving kindness to all, and the third is a meditation to be used when walking. him is originally from Scotland, so there is a little accent to his voice, but it is very soothing and not at all distracting. If you are a beginner to meditation, this CD will walk you through all the steps of relaxing and breathing as well as sending out the positive thoughts of love and kindness that will be returned to you. We have several CD's, but this one is a favorite that we choose most often.

When you mentioned to step outside for a slow paced walk, I paused it there I actually like that lady's hairstyle! Ha. While I paused it , I noticed she was holding a book. Or perhaps a notebook. And I wanted to let everyone know here that I personally appreciate seeing her holding that book or notebook. I do the same thing. If I get an anxiety attack it's usually at night in bed. And beside my bed I keep a book. And it's that book that I take in my hands and hold to my chest, just like I did since I was a very little girl and lay in my bed at night, for fear of the dark. So since I was a little girl - no matter what fear I had - and no matter what anxiety I have as a senior citizen now - holding that book up to my chest and hugging it has always helped calm my mind and my insides immediately.
My book is.... the Bible. I keep one beside my bed I keep one in my purse I keep one in my glove compartment of my car I keep on and every room of my house. I love my Bible. And my Bible takes care of me tremendously, whether I hug it tightly to my chest or read it.
So yes that picture of the woman walking down the street in the video almost hugging her book to her chest reminded me to comment what has helped me for 60 years. Do I believe God wrote the Bible? Yes I do. Because of the power that it has.

Each night I listen to "Rain on my Window"..... via a nice soundbar which is placed right at the window. I begin to relax instantly. Quitting Social Media takes a lot of stress away and I recommend that highly.....best thing I'v ever done. I found another very nifty tool just last week....... Amber light bulbs. As crazy as it sounds....., I have one tiny lamp which holds an Amber Bulb......The room warms up the second the bright whites are turned off and Amber takes over. It's often the little things. As always....my best to you.......and to those who suffer from Anxiety.

I received a note telling me that "The Rain thing didn't work". Turns out that the sound source was a phone......placed 2 feet from the persons head on a table. Nope. Ain't gonna' happen. I suddenly feel like someone is choking me and I’m suffocating, desperately trying to catch my breath.
This happened again this evening and I felt an extremely intense panic attack brewing, my lips go pursed and I’m used to the signs now. But my partner is asleep so I didn’t want to wake him because I needed someone to tell me I’m safe. This video saved me from having a lengthy, awful panic attack. I cannot thank you enough. Thank you so much for this video, it really released all my emotions and at around the beginning of the video, I burst into tears, I really didn't realize that it was coming but it just came naturally. Sometimes it's really difficult when I try to rationalize such emotions and whenever I sense anything I will begin to critique it. However, I have come to realize that some fears are too deep and impacting to the point in which I have completely given up any sense of rationalization, but even if that's the case, the helplessness of reality simply binds me against itself, releasing the same anxiety and frustration caused by rationalization. So, all these combined are really just useless chains that attempts to inhibit its contents but would inevitably fracture due to its own existence. Every time, every single time, it ends with a huge mental breakdown, perhaps without any trigger. I know that it will start to build up immediately after this, but at least this time it is under a situation of comfort and care, which I greatly appreciate for your provision and the most warming comments in the comment sections. I also wish that for the people who feel the same as me, that their reality may change according to their comfort, because I understand that sometimes, the self is just not enough.

I’ve been dealing with worsening anxiety attacks since I put my two weeks notice in at work. The change in how I’m treated has been very obvious, and it causes me to dread going to work. And on top of all that, I am losing both my private and my government insurance so I won’t be able to get any medication for it for months. But this helped. YOU helped. THANK YOU.

I LOVE this grounding exercise. I use the extended version. 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste. I love the way you explain this. You voice is so calming and pleasant. I think it's a good idea for people to book mark this video for emergency use. When my panic subsides I like to do a flow chart using all colors of ink to illustrate how it all unfolded in as great a detail as I can. It really brings clarity.
Can you do a video on feelings of neediness that follow episodes of emotional intensity? I find that after an intense moment I feel a deep sense of isolation, alienation, or loneliness . This has in the past, led to me reaching out to just literally anyone who would give me their time, and sometimes inappropriately. Thankfully it's just online and never in person. But The depressive feelings, and void like sadness are a really hard part of this for me. I wonder how common this is?

As a lifelong gregarious adrenaline junkie, so someone not so very prone to panic or social anxiety issues... I feel fairly confident in positing that it's actually pretty common.
Right after an emotionally intense experience, one of the FIRST impulses I see (and experience if we're being honest) is a deep VISCERAL desire to share that experience with anyone who'll even pretend to give an ear. Watch some of the popular "Fails" or "Fails and Wins" videos, and you'll likely notice a similar trend, almost immediately (if the clip has any aftermath) someone (usually the subject of said clip) is already yelling excitedly "Can you f**king believe that?!" or "Did you see it? Did you see?!!!" Sometimes even before the shrapnel has finished settling, let alone the dust clearing...
We get back from some "harrowing misadventure" and it's practically a foot-race to see who can get to a crowd of onlookers and tell the story of our "incredible journey" first or best... People seem to like to brag, even about their WORST situations...
AND look at all the stereotypical scenes of "You show me yours and I'll show you mine" from battle-scars or war stories to comparing clumsiness, stupidity, or comical moments... Conan O'brian practically built his brand on comparing short-comings as a man or as a person at least periodically with his guests... the "self deprecating" segments and conversations (for instance).
You don't have to be superhuman or accomplish something truly remarkable in the scale of the world or human kind to want to share the experience or "the emotional journey". It's (in my opinion) a completely natural part of everyone's psyche to want to share their highest highs and lowest lows... AND just being "social creatures", I think this is one of many phenomena that make having a decent network of friends/family or otherwise "support" among peers of some kind an important part of being mentally healthy and strong. ;o)

@@ssutherland9019 Thank YOU for reading. It makes me happy that you got something out of it. I have no good references or credible sources (I'm sorry to say) outside of the personal experiences I CAN speak to... BUT there seems to be a fairly plentiful resource of parallels, even to this dubiously anecdotal and unscientific approach. I'm as confident in my assessment as I can be, even if (admittedly) it's not exactly "perfect"...
At least, maybe it's worth thought and reflection until we can find (or learn) better. ;o)

@@gnarthdarkanen7464 I definitely know exactly what you are talking about here, and thank you for sharing that. However, this is not what I am talking about. I do not feel any need to share my intense experience. I rarely if ever discuss my private business or personal details with anyone. What I refer to is the need to connect, or to just to feel the presence of another human being. Much like the Willow tree roots seek out water. I will add, I have few friends, or the ones I do have are very low level. No deep connections with anyone. most of my family is absent or distant. I will spare you a long descriptive panel of context. LOL
