George, after you came onto the van conversion scene, I feel so under-impressed by other builds on UA-cam. Commercial or DIY, these builds don't give the thought and analysis that goes into your builds. Your build philosophy is like the Ryokan Inns in Japan - the old school meticulous attention to detail to make a guest stay flawless, and anticipate their needs before they have thought of it themselves. By the time the Inn guest thinks of a need, it has been anticipated and fulfilled. This is how you build your vans. I think you should visit Japan and stay at one of these Ryokans, specifically at Hakone, where you can dip your feet in public hot springs and immerse yourself in private hotel natural sulphur mineral springs. The exquisite food and attention to your every need is in sync with your build approach.
This is beautiful. You built for future expansion, modular replacement of systems and servicing, functional and aesthetic layouts, and low profiles that give a clean open space. On every single build, there is a new artistic expression, like the cute cabinet doors and magically expanding drawer table on the outdoor kitchen, standalone cabinet hutch, the new Trelino toilet,
or the luminous turquoise tiles on the kitchen backsplash. Yes, real tile makes a huge difference over plastic. It feels genuine like gold vs goldtone. Light reflects differently on it. It is heavier but the touch of real glass tile is so appealing.
To do all this, and still keep a strict eye on weight limits, distribution of weight, ensuring safety guidelines, maximizing space while minimizing distance covered by water lines and electric wiring, and being continually innovative and improving on quality, is nothing short of formidable. You have my highest regard. Well done, George! You are a master craftsman and solid engineer. Let us also not forget that your videos are superb. You never repeat yourself and cover what has already been covered, you make it fun and entertaining, never forget to show us everything, with high quality visuals/ audio/ lighting, and you pan very satisfyingly to show rich details. I love your videos. When I see your videos, I feel like I just ate a very satisfying meal. Just enough not more or less. Superbly cooked. Exquisitely flavored. Continually surprising. Bravo Maestro! 🙏

Induction is the only way to go IMO...💪 Tremendous in and out of van flexibility and no lost counter space... Zero friction replacement and servicing.
Wow! Wow! Wow! This layout is brilliant!! Perfect! Cherry wood woodworking is stunning! Love the frig! This one is a winner!! The handles on the upper cabinet faces are everything. This van w/ the backlit rice paper upper cabinet faces that Brooklyn Vans crafted on their Zen van would be money!! So well done guys! Congrats!
It is not rice paper. It is sanded Plexiglass. Sanded on inside, while outside is glossy, creates a frosted look. Add felt tape for cushioning and no rattle when driving. I love Plexiglass. It is also great for picture frames, and aircraft lightweight mirrors. The only issue is that it can get scratched although that can be polished out with plastic polish. The weight difference between acrylic 'glass' for framing pictures and real glass is huge.
Love the outdoor pull-out drawer table combo. Great idea and use of space. Very nice build, couldn't live without a microwave or bathroom though.

The Cherry wood with the blue glass tiles is a pretty,and like the side by side fridge, The workmanship is so clean but pretty to look at.This was a simple design but not lacking in the important things, the amount of counters and the rectangular steel sink is really ample for meal prep. So much to love !

Although there are no showering facilities in the van, I think this is the nicest van in terms of aesthetics that your team has built George. It really makes great use of the space available BUT without making the van feel small.
I hope to god I can afford a HR van someday, I'm saving my pennies! Your team does such amazing design work. Build quality doesn't really matter if the design doesn't make sense. You guys do your best to achieve both and that's what sets HR apart.
George, in an upcoming video, can you talk a little about the concerns that some people have regarding 80/20 fasteners loosening over time and how HR is addressing that concern? I love the use of 80/20 framing for multiple reasons, but long term durability is a primary concern for me and I just want to know if this is a real concern or is overblown.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. I still can’t get my head around the lack of toilet. Everyone’s needs are different, but for me the selling feature that was most important in my van was to have a real toilet.
Again wow. What more can one need with this build. Got everything darn thing in this build.

I don't know whether I love the fridge or that cubby behind the counter more!!! Both are gorgeous!! I also love the way the control panel is not in a cabinet!! Oh wait! I also love that hutch... it makes it look homey!! ... oh! And the way that drawer extends to make a great outside table, big enough for a grill!!! This van is so well thought out! The only thing I would change would be to paint that access port in the garage, black. Next time!!! Light Foot is practically perfect in every way!

I love everything about it except the L countertop. I would have opted for easy access to the garage and a step up to the bed but that's just me. Gorgeous build, beautiful choice of wood & colors, new owner must be thrilled.

PS, im glad you came around to the 2S2P solar panel config that we discussed when you were still doing all parallel. The best solar array Vmp voltage tends to be 2x to 3x the battery voltage. This is the absolute BEST lil van I've ever seen. My favorite of all van builds.
Its perfect and gorgeous. I could see myself in this van with the following enhancemets: inside shower pan at the slider that utilizes kitchen sink faucet or similar; a way to extend the dinnette length for taller guests (footwell door that goes under the main bed); put the toilet on drawer slides to that in the middle of the night I can just push a button and it pops out instead of having to lift it out manually. I would also use the 350 platform. Lastly as an option (if you thought it could work) a roof window with hatch. Just love this one, great job team!

Total perfection! I love your vans. There is something for everyone. Your vans have their own unique look. In a word, beautiful. Love, love the curves. Drawers are perfection. Wiring panels on the inside of the living space is a super plus. You didn’t show the bed. Is it the same lounge mode model? You and the Humble Road staff continually outdo yourselves. Again, beautiful build. 😊

I have my Ford blobs unfinished still and I think you found the answer for me. Thanks for the inspiration. Avocado shelf over door (maybe - I’m 6’ 4” and often bumped my head on previous PW Plateau shelf above door. I’ll have to mock one up first), small cupboard on drivers side mating to existing deeper overhead behind.
