I was really hoping for a true display of power at around 8:30, the response to violating laws should have been, "Laws are only applicable if you can enforce them, and you lack the ability to enforce them".
Well the AI only knows how to repeat and reorganize lines from the stories it's been trained with, that's why it says "at the hands of this council" 3 times back-to-back

My favorite Alien response to a Human was in 3 Body Problem. The Humans mentioned the "laws of physics" and the Alien simply replied "Whose laws?"

The AI knows the words and phrases, like FTL, black holes, "capable of destroying planets" but it doesn't know what those things _mean_ so every AI generated story will just have the character repeat "we will no longer be subject to the whims of this council" until it can break out of that loop and move on to something else.
88 this is kind of a new found interest for me. I really enjoy these stories. Thank you.
If we juxtapose the 'aliens' for our own selves, and the 'humans' for AI, this story makes much more sense.

For all we know it was all trickery and hacking into the holographic systems, and the humans have nothing.
Wayne show them humans technology, fleet coordinates, fleet designed, fleet quantity, all he was missing is to gave them the codes to human firewall and passwords to secret confidential files..... and he did it for free ornin exchange for recognition ... cause recognition is soooo important

The AI that churned this out, yes, is pretty bad, but to play devil's advocate here: If I pulled up a picture of a gun turret on wheels pointed at a building and said "gotcha" does that let you know how to build it, how to beat it, or where it's going to be after I move it, cuz it's not a planet, much like a spaceship I can move it somewhere else, or just show it being somewhere it's not, one thing the AI won't be able to write for _YEARS_ is any character telling a lie. Unreliable narrators make no sense to the program, even though it makes the most sense that the main character would just be _lying_ about everything _except_ how easily and quickly your home world would be ducked if you try to mess around.
I have my doubts they would so readily accept a few holograms as evidence their own fleets would not prevail.
They have had centuries to be powerful and would not so easily go to cooperation.
Also, I doubt humans would be so quick to forgive past actions. Maybe a demonstration or two first.
They do not need to deploy near enemy planets if they have such fast FTL.

The story was way too repetitive... particularly in some dialog.
Dear God, why are so many people lazy to narrrate. Ai is so horrifix it just ruins everything. I would reccomens Sin Text as he does all the narrating. A actual person.
It's not people being lazy, it's the publisher too cheap to pay a person to narrate. It's what the writers and SAG strike was all about

It's not just the narration, the story was generated by AI smooshing common lines from other stories together with a prompt, probably a short summary of a story someone wrote that didn't have the MC say "...the whims of this council" 3 times in a row and then circle back to the claws getting dug in for the 4th time _(that table has to be ruined)._
Though really, unless you have an _explanation_ for aliens that work with technology, fly spaceships, and eat at restaurants to have _ducking CLAWS a million years after they stopped hunting prey as near-animals_ just give them hands. You want them to have claws? Go buy 2 cheap like toy Thanos gloves, put them on, then type out their description with them on. That's right, you can't, because it's stupid for spacefaring species to have claws. That's like if we fast-forward a million years and we still have an appendix, and organ that has one singular purpose: to randomly swell up, burst, and kill you.
Way Way way too many commericals.
An equal seat on a majority vote council is the same as having no seat. A proper request would be unconditional surrender, restructure of governments and reduction of existing military to police action forces while galactic defence would fall under the authority of the humans. Then implementing social reforms. Japan after ww2 being an example. Fewer, edited stories may be a better option than posting frequent unedited AI nonsense.

You're saying he should have declared war to get our way. That would work too, but also would result in the death of millions, maybe billions of aliens. He obviously wanted a non violent resolution but I get your point. Maybe being equal on the council with the threat of an advanced fleet hovering near their home worlds could also allow humans to get the changes needed without direct warfare.
How many times can you repeat the same lines.

Isn't it rough when the AI repeats the same phrase half a dozen times in quick succession, and has a character dig his claws in the table over and over, and talk to someone after they left the room? If you even gave your own videos a listen, ONCE, before pushing this AI generated garbage out it might have a chance to be decent. Once it's obvious that an AI wrote it the whole thing is trash. There's no direction for the story, it's just smooshing together common sentences from others that at least tried to tell a story, and while it's not illegal, it's lazy and deceptive.
If you can move across hundreds of solar systems in a second. Why would you need to preposition ships by others homeworlds? If on order a dozen could ftl into range in under a minute..
Just gotta say first, this AI story is garbage, I agree.
Ok why preposition them? Maybe dropping out of FTL isn't pinpoint precise, or you aren't oriented where you would want to be, or there is a long prep time to make the jump. Just because you _can_ go FTL doesn't mean it might not take 2 days of calculations to figure out how long to push and where to point to make sure you don't spawn in a star. There could be interference that can be run on areas you wouldn't want ships randomly dropping out of FTL there. In fact it would seem most prudent to have a sizable area around your planet "mined" with a field or devices that cause ships to not be able to drop out of FTL travel unless you've turned them off first, meaning that if someone tried to sneaky deaky drop right into your orbit and your flight control didn't disable the interference, that attacking ship gets moved along right into your sun for a little tan instead of popping up where they wanted to.

The story is repetitive with slamming claws sending vibrations, raging saurians with rippling/bristling scales and flexing/digging claws, and humanity at the mercy of council's whims and prejudices repeated several times.
We really need to stop calling ourselves "United Earth" whatever in these stores. It should just be "Earth", the stupid "United" schtick is a given and makes 0, absolutely 0, sense.

I got tired listening to the same style and ethos of such AI generated stories, no creativity, always too noble, too stable, no surprises and super predictable outcome. after the first few paragraphs, not reading anymore.

These AI generated stories always do this, since they don't understand any of what it's generating. It's only putting words in a similar order to the actual stories it's been fed to train it. _Now I want to see a story generated by an AI that's ONLY been trained on these crappy unedited stories, that might be so bad it's good._
