Doordash and Uber Eats are a JOKE Lately in Las Vegas. Even on a PEV like my Hiboy S2 Max.

I haven't had a decent Doordash offer in 2 weeks! Uber Eats has been a little better, but it's still just barely worth it. Around here lately, you'd make more money working at a Fast Food Restaurant! I'm considering doing that instead. I never thought I'd see the day when that would become a more lucrative side hustle.

I figured it would be slow like normal between Christmas and New Years here in Lubbock TX but I've been killing it this last week and this week also. Hang in there and have a Happy and just as important prosperous new year.

October was steady, November started to slow down, December was dead but I did get several Christmas tips ($50 twice, $20's many times) so it kinda made up for how slow it was. In my mind, best guess, it's a combination of not many people ordering food and too many delivery drivers trying to make extra money.

Everyone says January & February sucks for food delivery, but you’d think it’d be great since it’s cold & nobody wants to go out. 🤔 I guess it’s because people spent too much $ on Christmas & are waiting for their tax refunds? 🤷‍♂️

Thankfully, most of my income comes from my own ventures. I just want as many people as possible to know how bad this type of gig work is now.
