She is really passionate and knowledgeable about Kashmiri cooking. I can give her 110% marks in the knowledge and details she has. Hats off to her. Myself Kashmiri I will definitely eat there once in Bangalore.
Azmath’s passion about her food and culture is truly contagious. Makes me want to go to Sarposh tonight to taste her authentic Kashmiri fare. Only recently I was wondering if Kashmir wazwan is available in other Indian cities. Bangaloreans are lucky…
Such a long clip but indeed it's a educational journey as owner described in terms of authentic Kashmiri delicacies to understand. You need lot of concentration and patience to enjoy every bite of. This is real kashmiriyat. Kindly convey special thanks to owner and entire team of Sarposh to make us happy to watch.
No doubt....the Kashmiri wazwan....is not just about food....but also about a surreal experience.....Thank you! SIR....For this video....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 FROM BIHAR.
Indeed Kripal Sir never watched any detailed episode on the Kashmiri cuisine. Sarposh is in Bengaluru. I m in Mumbai. Will try to visit Sarposh on my next visitto Bengaluru. Hope the days to come will bring back the harmony between Kashmiri Muslims and the Kashmiri Pandits. India truly has such a rich culinary heritage
I hope Sarposh maintains the quality and doesn't compromise with the taste - kudos to them for not succumbing to 'local taste' needs, which is a downward spiral..I have seen this in Chennai where trying to cater to 'local taste' no other cuisine has survived.

For the first time I had a glimpse of Kashmiri food and well explained by the host and thoroughly enjoyed and explained by the great foodie Kripal. Hats off to you Sir.
Wonderful insight into Kashmiri cuisines. Owners knowledge shows she has spent lot of time researching the food especially considering her work background.
Rista and Roghan Josh have been my favourite ever since I had it first time in Kashmir 14 years ago. Brilliant initiative to bring it to Bengaluru for the people to taste the wazwan complete range of food items... The owner of Sarposh is very Passionate about the food she is serving which adds to the quality of the food being served. Waiting my next trip to Bengaluru to try the lovely wazwan...
Ohhh mannnn.....salivating outta control. Have to definitely try all these dishes with a foodie gang when next in Bangalore. The best mutton/sheep meat I have ever tasted was in Kashmir, and I can never get that taste in any other place I have eaten in.
Wow..what a food story...the owner/hostess taking real pride in her kasmiri creation -the wazwan and Kripal Amanna a connoisseur of food...translating it all...
Kripal this is authentic vlog that is being explained in manner that has been cooked and specific order of eating the food. Really great detailing. 🙂 Wishing the very best 🙂
What a lovely couple, supportive of each other, and of course the cooks are very skilled. I am a vegetarian but I will visit this place for the j&k style rajma that I fell in love with during my visit to katra, simple with the smaller rajma beans, but with good quality ingredients.
Hi.. awesome kashmiri cuisine.. I'm from central America and watch your videos regular 😊.. love the way you describe the food n ingredients in a poetic way.. good work..😊all mouth watering dishes ..❤
Azmat such passion and knowledge flowing with your words just like your tasty food Kripal eating makes your mouth water wish you good luck with your restaurant ❤❤❤
Dear Sir, Loved this slice of Kashmir video! Azmat's love and passion for whatever she's doing is tangible. I know it's a part of your job, but I sincerely appreciate and respect how you embrace cultures and foods that you are not familiar with 😊 Thank you for showcasing Kashmir to us. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I am vegetarian, but I would still love to visit Sarposh for the experience and look forward to tasting some authentic vegetarian fare they might have to offer. That might help me prepare for my trip to Kashmir, whenever that may be 😄 I have a question here: Sir, how do you rate food and cuisine that you are not familiar with or perhaps are experiencing for the first time? Forgive me if you have already answered this question in one of your QnA videos 😄🙏 Cheers, Harsha
As a kashmiri i can tell you that tabakmaaz and a chilled beer is a perfect combo 😊 And she is correct that Kashmiris like their meat too much to make it either too soft or cover the flavor with too much spice, onion or anything.
Owner Azamat is smart , passionate and detailed oriented. Reason for her success as “Cultural Entrepreneur “ . She should open a branch in Hyderabad. Indian food is so diverse at the same time a lot similar too like our country itself as per geography and weather . Defiantly will try some of these dishes in my Kashmir trip, or if come to Banglore before that in “ Sarposh” .😊
Well said about the seekh, remember my days in hotel kitchens, where my boss told me the same about the authentic french pancakes, which when crumpled by hand and banged against the wall, shouldn't tear or crack ....😊
Watching this vlog was a real treat as there was a wealth of information about Kashmiri cuisine...as to how it's made, the kind of cooking vessels used n why n of course their culture showing their artifacts n decor n their way of entertaining guests n so on n so forth. The dishes served were also very unique n looked great. Would definitely like to try it. Thank u sir.
Amazing episode,,detailed knowledge about every ingredients used in every item is really amazing..conversation between kripal sir and azmat ji the owner also very interesting and was in detail...not even a second of this 😊episode to be missed ..

Absolutely Kripal amanna is passionated hunter for food where everyone can't follow this routine every day & food habits plays special role in every human life, most of the peoples don't know that, some times we'll eat only for hungry sake, just watch out the level of hospitality that they gave for every customers it's phenomenal for traditional food lovers 👏👏👏❤ Lovely sir Lot of love with due respect from Pavagada Tumkur dist💐
Sir, your rating is good, so the people who are non- veg, sure they drop to taste Kashmiri food. But the Kashmir pandits prepare good veg food & sweets. Happy enjoying food.
Wow what a fancy meal Kripal ! Tabak maaz flavoured with cumin from the wild valleys of Gurez -Kashmir (as narrated by Mrs Azmat Ali)😅😅….I can see that you are in meat heaven 😂😂😂😂😂 total freak out 🤟🏾👌🏾👍
I must say that I as many in Bengaluru is remote to kashmiri cuisine..i kind of get a feeling she's over exaggerating these dishes...but nevertheless she's quite knowledgeable..and did I miss to say she's pretty..😉
Kashmiri Muslims use vanaspathi ghee and mustard oil for cooking while Kashmiri pandit use desi ghee and mustard oil. Kashmiri pandit cooking is better because they tend to cook meat to Weldon , meat must fall from the bone. Kashmiri pandit are also good at cooking fish, lotus stem and green vegetables because they use Asafoetida to enhance to flavour while Kashmiri Muslims don’t even touch it.

Good afternoon dear Kripal - Wow wow wow - What an incredible Vlog 💯💯💯💯 Unfortunately I couldn’t watch part 1 of this 2 part Sarposh - Experience Kashmir vlogs , nonetheless enjoyed every frame of the 47 minute 25 seconds Vlog . Azmat being around was quite helpful as she was able to brilliantly articulate the rationale behind each dish , be it the way her fellow Kashmiris dine or the preparation of the Wazan dishes or the combination and order in which one needs to enjoy the decadent yet delectable Mas-traem platter . The tripe dish was certainly your top favourite ( please correct me if I am wrong ) . All the others dishes including a few veggie dishes also looked impressive, however you were truly blown away by the tripe and the spicy meat dish . This is certainly a meal for 3 and I must say that the price is extremely reasonable for the quantum of food that they served . Need to visit this place with some of my friends ( hard core meat lovers ) just to enjoy and soak into the experience. This Vlog was so unique for me as it truly helped me understand a lot of Kashmiri ( authentic) food preparation, their hospitality and food culture. Kudos to Azmut , her hubby and the Waza MasterChefs 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thanks to you and FL team for dishing out such an incredible Vlog . This will definitely leave long lasting impression on me . Thank You Kripal 🙏 Loads of love and respect. Have a wonderful weekend ahead . Looks tomorrow you would take your Fat-Boy out for a drive 😀 God bless 🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello Rajesh, glad you enjoyed this watch. I enjoyed my meal too and it was wonderful to have the privilege of Amat’s company in the table to better understand the cuisine and its traditions. When possible, do catch part one too, to understand the nuances of what makes this experience special. Have a great weekend.
Wazwan is really a feast. she nailed it right - "one cannot come with a particular mind set of taste when it comes to wazwan" because its not the typical ginger garlic onion base rather the taste of meat is given priority and the spices play in the background mildly. for me meethi maaz, rogan josh, dum aloo (deep fried aloo soaked in mustard oil masala), ghoostaba are my favourites. home made gaadh curry (fish curry), Chok Wangun (brinjal in a tamarid base - prefer mild tamarind not the strong one), the haak based home curries and nadroo yakhnis are too good. their zchots, lavasa, sesame seeds sprinkled breads with butter and khawa or indian chai is ab fab. i prefer basmati rice or regular raw rice for these dishes rather than kashmiri rice because its bit chewy and dry on the outside. Quincy apple curry is good too. kashmiri cuisine is real good if one can remove the indian taste mindset and it grows on you over time, it needs acquired taste. 🙂 not to mention, chicken kebab, trout fish grilled, chicken tikkas all are good. mutton tikka (tujj) i dont prefer because its chewy, rubbery.
