Hey Mike, I just wanted to say that I made these last night and they tasted just like McDonald’s! I was a little skeptical at first, because most recipes of McDonald’s fries call to be fried, frozen, and then refried but this recipe with so much easier and more accurate, I was really blown away by the parboiling step, great idea with the beef cube and sugar. I typically don’t leave comments in UA-cam cooking videos but I decided to share some feedback because too many people watch and criticize the videos yet never make the recipe.
I appreciate you leaving feedback especially since it's not something that you often do. Yes you are correct, my method is much simpler, and certainly faster. I think most videos suggest freezing them because that's what McDonald's does at the factory where they make them. Obviously they have to freeze them so they don't spoil. Thanks for your feedback, Mike
Thank you! I saved this one for future use. Inexpensive frozen French fries have disappeared from our local chain grocery store.
Thanks Lee. Once again I appreciate your feedback, Mike 🧔
Good video , have,a great day , , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Thanks Mike. As always I appreciate your feedback, Mike 🧔
I’m not sure how you do it but you always seem to have the perfect information out there when I need it.
Thanks for the kind words! Mike 🧔
Howdy from the Columbia Basin area of Washington State! Idaho may be famous for russet potatoes, but these days, we grow a lot more, right here. Food processing is a big part of the Tri-Cities economy, and McDonald's really does get a good amount of their french fries from here.
I used to travel for work and I loved being in the Columbia Basin because it is so beautiful! I remember thinking as I drove through, I would love to live there. But since most of my family including my grandchildren, live in the east, I will be here as long as I am above the dirt. My travels took me through Idaho by the way. Traveling down the interstate one day I looked to my right and saw a train as far as the eye could see. I couldn't believe my eyes when I realized all of the railroad cars and there were too many to count, we're full to the brim with potatoes. I remember thinking, I hope that the train doesn't have to stop in a hurry. Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔

Mike ,Mike,......my taste buds are positively on high alert ,yum yum .
Uk call these coughing 🍟 chips.
Go into any fast food store, you witness the faint embarrassing cough,as the chips hit the back of the throat due to the salt content 🤣....
It's not the cough that carrys you off....it's the coffin they carry you off in !!!

Appreciate your sharing, i m sad that despite this knowledge sharing people did not even thought to give you one zero penny like. I wish people appreciate the knowledge gurus here onwards
Your thoughtful comment means a great deal to me. While financial support is one way to show appreciation, knowing that there are individuals like you who recognize the value of knowledge sharing is truly heartening. Mike 🧔
This might be a silly question for people who do a lot of deep frying at home, but what do you do with all that used now cold oil? Can it be strained and reused? If so, for how long will you be able to resue deep frying oil? How is it properly disposed of when its useful life is done? Burn it? Recycle it where? Can it be deorderized and turn it into soap or candles or lamp oil?
Personally I use oil, especially the expensive peanut oil several times. I have a dedicated large jar that I used to keep it in after the first use. I don't mix the used oil with the new oil. I put paper towels into a large funnel to use as a filter when I pour the oil into the jar. This removes most of the chunky stuff in the oil. I put the jar in the refrigerator to extend it's life. Used oil, peanut oil or otherwise, we'll go rancid once it's been used. Unused oil can stay on a shelf for an extended amount of time. Once I've used it a couple times, I take it to my local auto parts store and poured it into the used oil drum. From there it gets recycled, Mike 🧔
Who wants to make wimpy fries…
Louise, I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Could you please clarify? Mike 🧔
I do😂🤚🏽!!
🤣
You lost me on the sugar!
Sugar so bad for you!
Sorry I lost you! But I'm only reporting the exact the recipe per McDonald's, Mike
@@KitchenTipsOnline yes, I know and you are doing a great job!
I used to be addicted to those chips. So I was curious how they are made.
But since I have listened to dr Lustic, I avoid sugar..
