Risk free is money market I would say in these circumstances.

You must invest directly in stock - but only very small amount to begin with so that you learn with time. Focus on dividend paying stocks in the beginning.

Wali bhai is that new video or an old one, coz now a days mutual funda are not doing so well, as compared to year ago.
The money market mutual funds are different that the equity based funds.
Money market funds are reaching upto 15%+ returns now.

I cannot tell as of now as the rates are keep on changing. Last I checked with Meezan, the money market fund was around 12% after CGT.

Great Video as ever Wali Khan. I was wondering even though you said you havent made any money from MF. Don't you think now is the best time to buy Mutual Funds since the NAV is very down and there is no way to go but up? As the prices stabilizes, might be a good profit run.
Well, mutual funds in Pakistan are very inefficient - I have been investing in them since 2018 without any profit. At the same time, if I have invested the same cash in the stocks they invest directly, I would have earned dividend as well as price appreciation. So in my opinion - to begin with you can keep on investing with equity MFs, but learn to trade stocks ASAP. In today's situation, better diversify and keep some cash in money market funds too.
