Yeah, 200% agreed, I invested in Meezan MIF 2016 when i had zero knowledge. but in 2022 I withdraw all my money and invested on my own after learning PSX trading.
I was totally at a loss in Meezan MIF whereas my ROI is 10% (after deducting zakat and tax) within 4-5 months in PSX

I think PF funds can be treated separately due to it's long term [mandatory] nature and also come with tax benefit at time of investment as well as at maturity [@ 50%]

Even mutual fund can give u average 15% CAGR in lowest side..

Almost - it's just that the Pakistan stocks are not doing well right now so mutual funds would not do good as well. Individual stocks if researched well can perform better.

Hello Mr Wali. Based on your recommendations I invested in Sarwa.
I have not had a pleasant experience, I tried with depositing AED 5000, there was an instant transfer charges of AED 30, even though it was between ENBD TO ENBD. moreover there call centre hold time was 15 Mnts until I finally gave up. I don’t find this a reliable platform, I myself work in DIFC and have seen their ads and it was only after your recommendation I chose this. Please note companies in DIFC have gone rogue before too. I have lost my trust and will be withdrawing my funds from here. I would rather do it through banks.
I use Mashreq bank and deposit on monthly basis. I am surprised at 30 AED charge. Can you please email me the issue and include hello@sarwa.co in to email?
They called me back to clarify, some funds have have been lost through exchange and my funds are also lost earnings hence the negative balance of 30. I didn’t expect loss as my account was only funded yesterday. I chose a conservative halal portfolio. I actually don’t have much experience except for the DEWS where my EOS is accumulated by my employer. Given I have no experience, do you recommend for me to continue with this? My goal is earning dividends from the money saved. Thank you for your advise always. Your videos have inspired me to do something with my savings than just keeping the, in the banks, I have also invested some amount in Bonds.
@@saraasif5945 keep in mind. Anything related to stocks is very long term. You might be -ve in short term. That’s why I always prefer to build a portfolio over long term and every month. You will learn as you invest. For now, I’m not sure of your risk appetite, but to learn, you can keep investing very little amount on monthly basis… like 100 aed would work too.. 1000 aed would work too… anything u invest, don’t think about it for atleast 5-10 years. For short term investments - there are other options.

you will get lower rates if you transfer from PK USD to PK PKR account.
But if you have small amount and if you repatriate, the banking charges from PK USD to overseas will be around 30-60 USD.
So it will depend on how much is the amount you want to repatriate.

The best strategy is to hold an equity ETF rather than a mutual fund because of sharp contrast in fees,For debt portion HBL ETF is best as the fee is just 0.5.Given the high interest environment rotating capital to fixed income asset classes is better
Indeed - but ETFs in Pakistan are not even performing well in past few years.
