Got myself a scirocco R-line instead of the GT so i didnt need to deal with changing the body plus 19inch alloy wheels is a plus.
Your induction kit, and rear view mirror is making a lot of sense as my next steps :)
a little to many carbon stick on's for me but... I does look Fantastic over all. God your right about the carbon rear wings, I got mine from China, and it was thankfully mostly okay. I did cheat and have a mechanic friend fit it though. The rear-view mirror is awesome love that upgrade.

Might need to send off the interior bits to be wrapped. I have another video on the rear view mirror that's just about ready to go live where I talk about the intsall process. But it's not a straight fit... You need a custom adapter to make it look OEM

I've got a 2016 GT and it's 2.0l which I thought replaced the 1.4. Surprised there are any 1.4 litre models from 2017.

What system do you have in yours? The MIB2 Discovery unit? It might just need activation

i myself have a black edition, that i got just over a year ago, and since then i've seen a lot of sciroccos pop up in my local town. even had one crash into my colleague's car. but none of them have been black editions. is it the same for you, where you don't see any other black editions? i've seen more gts specs, which i find are also more uncommon than the R specs.
Yeah these are rare, GTS’s are even more rare than the R models :D

Got the same model and i swapped my full milltek catback system for a kit with a valve exhaust. But it just didnt make enough difference, so if you find a good solution let me know :D

How did you remove the soft limiter? Was it during stage 1 tune?
Yes exactly, this is tuned to Stage 1 by APC in Peterborough :)

How about wheel spacers? Your car would look sick with that! I am thinking of putting 20 mm wheel spacers all around on my Scirocco
It's on the to-do-list. Which ones are you planning on putting on yours?
20 mm will stick out, specially on the rear. 15 mm o the rear works great, and the for the front if you want to adjust, it can be in teb range 16-18 mm

The camera was fitted a while ago by some kind of VW retrofits company

Yes 😂 it is NOT a straight fit and requires a custom made mount if you want to look OEM.
APC did the install and custom mount for me so I’d reach out to them if you want something like this done

@@Em_Ligman i have got leon 5f with same engine but turbo from CZDA, apr coils, cold air intake and also modified exhaust :D next step fmic and hybrid czda turbo. Dunno what to do cuz make that turbo hybrid cost same money as used is20
A used IS20 turbo is around £200 from when I last looked on eBay. I got mine for £120. The 290RS Hybrid is like £1400 but then the install is east with that. The IS20 is not a straight install whatsoever
how did you fit the halos in headlights is it clips or sealed units?
I didn't make them myself, but from what I understand they're sealed units and are a nightmare to modify

The car is very nice (I have a Rocco too, so needless to say), buy I hate the "Stage 1+" denomination, so common nowadays. C'mon, the car has Downpipe. That alone, for more yeras that I can remember, qualifies it as Stage 2. And it even has an intake. That is Stage 2.
The stage is dictated by the mechanical mods, not by the software. So, this is for everybody with Downpipes out there: please, stop callong Stage 1+, call it Stage 2. What are you afraid of? (This also goes for chiptuners, who really were the ones that invented this "Stage 1+" nonsense for marketing purposes). You can have a smooth Stage 2 not pushed near limits, and there is nothing bad about it.
Thanks for the info! Yeah perhaps it could be called a “stage 2” setup tbh 😂 it just had a really conservative remap to not kill the stock turbo. Normally for a “stage 2” remap on these you’d see maybe 185bhp, near the absolute limit of the stock turbo.
