There are subtle differencies between the two drone shots. I like that Version 1 BEGINS with a view inside the tank in the lagoon, but I also like how Version 2 ENDS with an aerial view of the traffic on Beach road. The goal is to have ONE continuous scene (i.e., no splicing of clips), so I have to choose one. Which one do YOU think is better--version 1 or version 2?
First one. Very cool idea my man. Have you considered writing a "revealed" book like the iconic Dowdy books for Hawaii? Interesting shift for an engineer. 👍
I notice on their homepage that they have apps as well. I'll wait until mine is released before I check it out! I don't want to be influenced (or intimidated) by what they've done! Thanks for the info.
@@DiscoverSaipanI think the drone shots at the end made for a smooth transition. Also, the soundtrack. Ultimately, they both turned out well and looked good.
While I like version 2 better, it wasn't quite as sharp as version 1. Any ideas on what happened to the sharpness between 1 and 2? Also, while I realize this isn't my clip, maybe a more upbeat, tropical dance vibe would better as a music overlay. Just my thoughts. Have fun!
Noted. Thanks! Re: sharpness: Could be (a) just a glitch in the drone while filming, (b) an issue when uploading/downloadiing from Dropbox, or (c) on your end, perhaps the video wasn't fully resolved (particularly if your connection isn't high-speed).
@@DiscoverSaipan More than likely it was the focus on the drone. Perhaps it tried to focus on something and it didn't lock. Or maybe it just got bumped out of place during recording. Touchscreens are pretty sensitive, the slightest touch can activate a move. Using drones with tiny joysticks can also introduce issues. In any case it's good to know someone else is also trying to help attract tourism to the CNMI. Hopefully more of us will join in and flood the Net with our data and people will come.
2. War history is less emphasized. This generation just doesn't relate. Shoot on the beach showing a couple there is a nice touch. Music says: Come, see and relax.
Good point and great suggestions. When I do the full ad for the app, I'll definitely make it more universally appealing while keeping in mind that the particular audience for my tours are typically WWII buffs. Thanks!

Cool! Thanks! I'm not familiar with the Revealed series. Do you mean these www.revealedtravelguides.com ? I'll check them out!

As an outlier, I like #2. But, I think most people would prefer #1.
Haha! What appeals to you about #2?

Off topic, but as a Black Man, how are you treated by the people out there?
