There was even more mocking and laughing at Trump in Cannes than usual when the film was screened.
Has he seen the film? I certainly didn't see him here in Cannes.
He's certainly not wanted here, or indeed anywhere else in Europe.
Since he’s a convicted felon as of last Thursday, there are several countries that he is profited to travel to.
Trump has hurled so many slurs, this is what he gets. The truth hurts.

He can sue him under defamation of character lawsuit. Of course, he has to prove the film defamed him. He does that very well by himself.

Even if it was false, there is a different standard for movies because of protection for satire, protection from honest research efforts, protection for creative decisions...
Besides, why sue this one and not the wood rocket production film with "Trump?" Ok these are not for adults. Or bad president? Or the funny or die 2016 'Donald Trump's the art of the deal: the movie?" I think there is something emotional for Trump because it's a bit of a foreign production - but on that, as well, there is an exemption in American law.
And given that this film was in planning in 2018 (with the pre-production taking a long time), why sue now?

@@jebuschrist9161 unlike you I know how to shop and where to shop and how to budget. I don’t buy stuff I don’t need. I don’t shop at Whole Foods, Costco, Safeway and other expensive grocery stores. I buy mark down groceries. I grow my own vegetables and bake my own bread. I make everything I can from scratch. How about you? You are the one responsible for your own life style changes. There are so many things you can make yourself for a fraction of what it costs to buy (bread, popsicles, popcorn, granola, etc). Don’t go out to restaurants except for special occasions. Do you do any of that at all? If not you have no business whining.
