- I present to you a full broadcast of JBVO, the short-lived cartoon request show starring Johnny Bravo!
List of segments:
-Courage the Cowardly Dog: "Journey to the Center of Nowhere"
-Cartoon Planet: "Don't Send in the Clowns"
-Dexter's Laboratory: "Mock 5" - Розваги
Imagine the people who were actually talking to Johnny bravo coming back to this video and just seeing and hearing their voices
Yess
Almost 20 years later holy crap that’d be a trip
Legends
We'd be so stoked to hear our favorite character on the phone
As far as I’m concerned, this setup should be how Cartoon Network should celebrate their 30th birthday, maybe not exactly this show, but this format where an iconic character or 2 takes requests from viewers via a toll free call to play an episode of a classic cartoon.
An old-school theme variety show format with classic and modernish CN/Boomerang characters manning phone lines, a host, “performances”, tv bumpers, etc., everything getting slowly worse as sets break, the host getting more stressed, the operators berating the fictional donors and destroying their phones in anger, showstaff having accidents on set, and performances being poor or going wrong in any or all conceivable way.
Space Ghost
@@nimblemomonga2311 I can see Space Ghost doing that (with David Kaye voicing).
Space Ghost too. That would have been cool.
they could at least release these old segments, instead of DVD boxsets that don't even include holiday specials/movies
Never realized how amazing the early 2000’s were since I was so little so I wasn’t old enough to actually appreciate it.
Everything was better back then before the dark times ahead
I like how he called Nicole and didn't even ask her about which cartoon she meant
Or how the wheel landed on Pound Puppies and we get a Courage Cartoon instead
Gumball reference
'Raphne said you're RAZY! She rent you A restraining order!'
Tsundere Service…..
I wish they didn't go back to The Old Retool Format in Season 4
I have no memory of this show and I was around during this era of CN.
Born in 91...Massive amounts of nostalgia here 🥲.
I wish this show lasted longer.
Same here I only caught it maybe a few times but it was great and should’ve lasted much longer.
Unfortunately it wasn't this popular based on viewership.
Actually, the show ran from April 2, 2000, to August 26, 2001, which was canceled after one season.
Same
@@Power-9HunnidRequest shows like this usually weren't popular, but it's a shame they allow them to basically become lost media
I know that JBVO was unsuccessful but I know this spin-off is considered to be the best cartoon in the history of television animation.
Scooby and johnny bravo already having a crossover implies that Johnny bravo is stealing shaggys girl
Twice. There was also the Christmas segment in season 1 where Scooby-Doo had an brief cameo. Of course Bravo Dooby Doo was the other season 1 crossover between the 2.
@@stephenholloway6893 I would love to see them Reunite again for another Crossover when it's more Members of Minstry Incorporated
This is the cutest show ever
I remember this. I saw the dbz one live.
(Voice actors)
Jeff Bennett: Johnny Bravo
Scott Innes: Scooby Doo
Imagine if that number still worked
Just called it right now and it only went to a telemarking service :(
@@FoxyVox same RIP, worth a shot though.

"T-T-T- TODAY JUNIOR!!!"
This show would do alot better now. Especially with how convenient phone calls can be nowadays.
Holy shit I thought I dreamed this as a kid
If you watch the credits carefully, you see that they talk about "FILMBOX Software" - that's very early motion capture stuff. JBVO was mocapped and then composited, which means I bet this was actually live (or at least mostly so), like how Charles Martinet did Mario In Real Time back in the day! That's really neat.
Wow this is nostalgic
I saw a comment on another video claiming that one segment, either of Toon FM or JBVO had Johnny Bravo giving commentary of Clint Eastwood -- Gorillaz. Probably fake but I believe it
Thank you so much, this is incredible! Amazing find. You've got a fantastic collection.
I literally remember that outro theme woah, I always thought that came from my head but it turns out it wasn't I think this show was one of my earliest experiences with satellite tv
Dang remember how awesome the world was 23 years ago?
i would say that media was better at least
They will come back
"Don't send in the clowns" funny song
20 years ago today...
The spin off of JBVO should be the unikitty news show where she talk about new episodes from Cartoon Network, the upcoming new shows, answer questions from the fans, and many more
I personally hate unkitty but we do need a new JBVO
No that's never gonna work out like that at all it has to be Old School Nostalgic Shows
Can’t believe Jett Bennett(Johnny Bravo) was in F13P7: New Blood.
Note: Segments not shown due to copyright. Because it will get blocked if the shorts were included.
To think that even in that year, the old cartoons still had such a large presence. Last thing i remember of old CN was a bunch of filler from Canada with mostly originals filling as much as possible
Reminds me of Max Headroom.
i love that show
Thank You SchfiftythreeretroTV
Johnny hosting a show request show was interesting in my childhood especially how he has other characters as guests
Cartoon with a dog? That sums it up
power house era was 20+ years ago :')
Guessing that tape don’t continue.
recorded 19 years ago!
Soon to be 20 next year.
He isn't being like how The Show Version is
Who came here before of Blameitongeorge?
I think i watched this one live. I've been trying to find Zorak's song for at least 20+ years.
This was one of the most interesting shows on cartoon network.
LOL at "Phoenix City, Alabama"
I was 12 when this aired but for some reason I never watched it. Not sure what I was watching instead, was probably busy playing my PlayStation 2.
Johnny got a thing for Daphne!
Tsundere Service…..
It’s really frustrating to watch your child Zorak struggling to do something like going to the circus
Guest star Scott Innes as Scooby Doo
My homie Zorak went in on that track. The nostalgia is real af.
JBVO ran for a single season and was unsuccessful
I thought I saw this, but clearly I didn’t since I was born in April of that year lol. I wasn’t exposed to CN until I was 6.
Damn I’m old lol
I hope Andrea recorded the episodes.
I rather liked this portrayal of ole Johnny B. I know his dimwittedness and womanizing were party of the humor on his main cartoon, but it was nice to see him being legitimately cool.
I love Warner bros
This was uploaded on the same day blameitonjorge upload HIS video
The way the Phonics game commercial started I thought it was going to be a parody.
@5:42 is just so ripe for parody lol
why didn’t i watch it when it aired :(

Does anyone have footage of jbvo playing gorillaz?
Was this pre-recorded or done live?
Most likely prerecorded. Like he would obviously call their parents first and ask to talk to the kid. If not available he would go to the next one. Then they would trim the kids audio to give kids time to think
Guile Johnny Bravo Paul Phoenix Jacekoby Bryianet Maxi Dimot Arthur Fonzarelli
Jesse Katsopolis James Dean & Elvis Presley do look Cool
BUGS BUNNY & FRIENDS!
1:45 The Wheel landed on Pound Puppies not Courage
That's why he said "I'm glad I called" because she meant Courage
Stupid Wheel
Two Years since The End of Raccoon City was Literally WIPED OFF the Map FOREVER, and Shery Birkin was 12 at the time who lost both of her Parents due to Umbrella's Negligence, now She's 14 Years old in the Eight Grade in the Year 2000.
kid "the phonics game is the best present my mom ever bought me" really so she was too cheap shit to get hime Lego's or something ?, poor kid
Either that, or the kid was paid by whoever made the phonics game to read a scripted statement.
I think what they were trying to get across was that the child gained confidence to be able to succeed and that made him happier than legos could ever do. Definitely a cynical marketing ploy if I ever saw one.
So I just called the number and it was a medical center
But was Dr. Bravo in the house?!
@S_WxIxLxLxIxAxMxS honestly, I should have asked
