- Physicist Russell Targ designed protocols to convince scientists and military people that remote viewing is an accessible personal skill. Unlike clairvoyance, remote viewing is intentional. He describes a remarkable series of coincidences that led him from laser research to parapsychology. He advised his children, and he advises us, "when something unusual happens, say 'yes' unless it is clearly dangerous.
Russell Targ is a physicist and author, a pioneer in the development of the laser and laser applications in 1960, and a co-founder of the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) investigation of psychic abilities called remote viewing. This work in the psychic area has been published in Nature, and The Proceedings of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE.
Targ has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Queens College and did graduate work in physics at Columbia University. He is author of ten books dealing with the scientific investigation of psychic abilities and Buddhist approaches to the transformation of consciousness.

If consciousness is a field, perhaps holographic, then the focused emotion of the sender, knowing it will be a wow for Russel, acted like a laser and penetrated the hypnogogic state of Russel beginning to wake up. He received the strong signal from the sender. It was a loving intention.
So many people think of someone and then the phone rings and presto, you say, wow, I was just thinking about you. Wonderful chat thank you both so much.
I just remembered that a medium lady said when she reads energy or, 'see's. entities, it is not a spirit but an impression, a record, it's as if our lives are magnetically recorded, the spirit is gone but there is a movie that stays. Perhaps also the events with strong emotion tend to be the first we would notice, like burnt toast and the bugg*r, or dam* that cat because the Tom has sprayed again.

I’m glad I found this conversation today. Russell Targ has done great work in this field. After seeing him interviewed by Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt years ago I’ve read his books and watched his Third Eye Spies movie.
I’m sorry to hear he has had a medical issue with his brain. Hopefully he will recover and continue to create.
