I had previously decided to stop making to many comments to these videos. I apologize up front but subject matter begged for this one. I was reading stories of survivors of Titanic tragedy when one gave me pause. This guys grandparents had bought him passage on the Titanic. Walking up the gangplank he heard a voice which said, "if you take this voyage you will not survive." He of course, looked all around, saw no one, continued to board. He again heard this voice, " you will die if you board this ship." Yet again for the third time this voice warned not to go. Finally he turned went back on shore. I just had to think what if. Saying no more than that, what if we all hear this voice, most of us not on a cognizant level. And that in turn gives rise to " just a lucky guess -- had a feeling -- little birdie told me so -- Good Lord looking out after me -- etc."

just simply -- a source / a reason / perhaps even an explanation if you will for these
events to occur. I have had numerous events of this sort and each time I have had to ask myself , "Where exactly does Free Will fit in here?" Perhaps I am far afield of actual explanation - this is just what it seems to me. Thank you for your response.
You have free will. And you have no choice about that. It is the degree of our ability to influence events that varies. @@edwardcrosser5151
I’d had a stressful day and was working night shift in an office I don’t usually work and saw a spider scuttle across the floor. I looked up symbolic meaning of spider and it said perseverance with weaving your web. About half an hour later I saw a coffee mug with spider and web on it. Is this just because my thoughts were on spiders and webs so I’d notice it more, or is it synchronicity?
to see a coincidence you have to have your mind on the idea that subsequently gets matched to it. So this is a simple coincidence. Does it become meaningful to you in the sense that the coffee cup spider and web reaffirmed your current to need to persevere?
@@Coinciders Sort of, but I've been looking into synchronicity recently, and because I'm concentrating on it, seem to be seeing coincidences more. There's evidently a part of our mind that likes making links, patterns. But yes, it's the meaning we attribute to it. When I see 111 these days I'm genuinely excited and feel I'm being guided and my life has purpose. It's all about us.
To see more coincidences you have to be open to seeing them. You can overdo and underdo this so it takes practice and discernment. I'd say you are practicing discernment. @@krishnamurtiism
@@Coinciders Hi Dr Coincidence. Okay, I think I just had a synchronistic event but need more discernment. I was watching Whitley Strieber and started having this desire to visit Devils Tower in Wyoming (the one in Close Encounters of Third Kind). Im from uk, which would mean getting a flight to perhaps Minneapolis and driving 9 hours to the tower. The whole thing wouldn’t be unusual for me as I’m quite impulsive in travel but what with Italy being a lot closer and loving ancient history, I’d probably go there. But I couldn’t get Devils Tower out of my head. I watched the movie again and the next morning there was a video by a Christian guy I like listening to who was talking about petrified trees in pre-flood (Noah) times, and how Devils Tower was one of these ancient giant trees. This guy hardly makes videos anymore and he’s never done one before on Devils Tower and yet he did one when I was weighing up whether to go to Wyoming. Any advice? Should I give in to my impulsive side and visit Wyoming or is there a deeper meaning to the synchronistic event, like God is telling me that the stories of Noah and the bible are true?
