thanks for sharing matt! photos are really good with this film! especially @5:30 -the rollercoaster photo (love the color). hoping for second batch to release...
Yes! Love it! So many beautiful images, the one of your wife and son running out of the waves is really special. Can't wait to see more videos, you've done such a awesome work on them, agent shadow is exciting, I just got some to try, and can't wait to see both Lomo T and Cine D films :)
Thanks Molly! I love that one of my wife and son so much... I was scared of getting my cameras wet though ha ha. Thank you for the kind words, really looking forward to the new films! 😀
Love it, Matt!! Those reds and yellow are superb!! I must say... I think your subscription studies are correct! I mean, I follow your channel, and, well... Haha I kid, I kid!
Beautiful photos! Another great vlog, Matt! The contax captured some cool images. I personally don't think the shots look over exposed, beach photos with heaps of sun (bring back the sun!!!) look fantastic! Thanks for sharing, Matt!
Thanks Ace! Much appreciated 😄I think I have Contax bias, I kept thinking the better images were from the T3 but the Klasse S took some of my faves. Wish I'd taken the Klasse S to the cafe to see what they would've turned out like. And you're right... the highlights looked fine, I was worrying too much ha ha. Feels like these rolls were the last time I saw the sun 😪
If you have a camera which requires a DX code or will default to ISO 100, the solution is to load the film, then set a "minus one stop" exposure compensation on the camera - ISO 200.
I just got a roll. May run it through my Nikon FM3a, but wondering if I should hold off to the colours of Eastern North American autumn. The film really seems to work well for yellows, reds and oranges, which would really suit the fall season in Canada.
Great video! looking forward to your reviews of the T3 and Klasse S. Maybe even head to head comparison. I know they are priced differently, but I'm currently trying to figure which one I want to get, and there are no good comparison reviews out there.
Thank you Chris! Great idea, I just remembered I shot a roll side by side about a year ago! I might do another one then do a video. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!
curious how it reminded me of the Karmir 160. Also it seems that the T3 has a bit of warmer accent than the fuji. I like the photos, if I didn't know, I wouldn't say they were taken on point and shoots
Oh wow, I’ve never heard of that film until now but it looks amazing 🤩 I did some head to head shots on both cameras I’ll show in an upcoming video, from memory the Klasse S looked warmer on C200 film so that’s an interesting observation 😊
Oh for sure, I did 2 comparison rolls with these 2 cameras and for some shots the only giveaway is the focal length difference. Having said that, I prefer the T3 even though it has less bells and whistles. That Zeiss glass 😍
Ooh tough one! Both have their pros and cons. Klasse S has more features for sure, but the T3 has a certain something, that Zeiss lens! I’ll try and do a video soon about them both
This film looks very much like the AGFA consumer films from the 1990´s. That´s before they started selling repackaged Fuji film as AGFA Vista. They were very high in contrast, and had much less latitude if compared to modern Kodak or Fuji film stocks.
@@MattLovesCameras I shot my first roll of Adox Color Mission today. and developed it. I have also some old negatives of AGFA from 1990´s. I´ll see tomorrow how they compare when printing RA-4. The pictures I have seen in the Internet look quite similar to old AGFA, but as they are all photoshopped, it is hard to say anything for sure. For instance, the pastel look the young fellows call "the Portra look" is mostly due to post production. However, the film is DX-coded as Kodak 200 (no DX for camera, just s number and a barcode for labs). Let´s see tomorrow, are the basic color corrections close to any film stock I know.
@@MattLovesCameras I made some prints today. This film is not similar to AGFA, although it has some similarities, such as high contrast. Although this is no Portra or Ektar, it has much smaller grain than AGFA cheap consumer films had. With AGFA, you could see the grain with a grain focuser as you would see it on Ilford HP-5. Color balance is different, and corrections needed are much different from any modern film I´ve ever printed. Y 000 M 095 C 000. Some pictures needed C 005. I have never printed a color negative film before not needing any yellow filtration, but cyan instead. Unless talking of negatives 50 years old, with faded colors. That said, it printed quite well with these unusual settings. It´s not that grainy - it is comparable to Fuji Superia X-tra, which is of course a 400 ISO film. It is a fine film if you need more contrast, but to be frank, this is not a great film either. It is a film with Fuj consumer film grain and sharpness, Ektar colors and contrast of a 1990´s AGFA.
Lovely colors and great family images!
Thanks so much Dave!

Thanks so much Ryan! Yeah I love that roller coaster photo🎢 Much better for me taking a photo rather than being on it 😂
@@MattLovesCameras haha i like both but havent been on at least 15 years…
Great review! Looking forward to the new reviews, and I'm excited to see Color Mission in 120.
Thanks Jamie! Would love to see it in 120!

Really beautiful sample images, thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much Billy! More videos coming soon
Beautiful film, nice shots as always.
Thanks so much Christina! 😄

😂😂 yes! point proven Nathan ha ha! Yeah I really love this film, I’m shooting one more roll then will probably slow down my consumption of it 😁
Subscribed and already feel more handsome! Another great video, young man!
Ha ha yes you should! Thank you sir! Much appreciated
Great results! Love the family shots!
Thanks Alex! Some of those shots will make it onto our family calendar next year for sure 😁🙏
The colours are great Matt
Thanks Anthony! I'm really impressed with this film! 😄

@@MattLovesCameras I'm a sucker for big, bold colours so you nailed it with this roll!
@@acecreates ahh you are too kind! I LOVE bright bold colour 🤩
"These old cars just seem to find me!" I may have to borrow that one...😀
Ha ha ha I swear I don't go looking for them 😅

Yes very true! I thought of this after the video. Thanks for watching 😊🙏
Great video Matt and absolutely lovely images! It’s good to know the highlights aren’t as much of an issue as initially thought…
Thanks so much Molly! Really looking forward to shooting more 😄

Fantastic! Hope you enjoy it. It seems to work well with softer lighting conditions. Autumn colours sound perfect!

I love the color on this film - reminds me of Kodachrome only toned down a bit. I with I had snagged some when they were available.
Yes! It certainly has a unique look! Did you buy any Cinestill 400D Aki? I wonder if that will be as interesting looking as Color Mission 😄
@@MattLovesCameras I've got 120 coming next month (I hope) but missed out on the early delivery for 35mm so I'll have to wait until July or later.
Would you say image quality wise they are on the same level?

Contax T3 or Klasse S? Please elaborate 😅

Great Video. The Colors Mission is in my opinion a bit better the. Ektar 100. I love the colors. Nice video
Thank you! Yes I've had better results with portraits on Color Mission for sure, seems more versatile in some ways 🤗

Fantastic, thanks for letting me know Samu! I never shot much Agfa in the 90s, I almost always shot Kodak.
