I just purchased the signature series 3 way. Im gonna run an active front stage with passive rear. How well do these compare to something like focal utopia or audiofrog gb series?
i have 3 way signature multix with magnesium high resolution tw 20:03 and 20 cm woofer on my main car and 3 way live series on second car and i can tell you that those speakers sound 100% NATURAL same time 100% PRECISE like no other.
*Blam Multix sound better overall than the last utopia from focal... for my ears, even after proper EQ.
Short setup : Qobuz /Tidal, Fiio Btr7 LDAC Bluetooth main source, Zapco Z16 DSP and B2 Ref Four Class A amplifier.
In conclusion i love my magnesium Blam tweeters the most, just flawless for my ears!!!
So the Live series carries 3 models?
My question is what tweeters go with a set of component speakers? There is virtually no literature on Blam and the website just doesn't provide any further detail.
I'm glad to meet you. Need to feel the music (for musicality dancers) ..Bachata Salsa many i have a ford focus aftermarket radio! I know music i listen to (bachata) has enough bass with the aftermarket radio but some of the salsa hardly hear the bass, Hopefully that helps. for best set up?

amazing brand! had pretty expensive install in my last car (audison steg rockford PHD etc... then i put blam rx components on cheap amp in my daily sh**box and damn! i am really love them even with almost entry model from blam. Theres no other brand that can sound like this for that price! would love to hear high-end from them
is relax the entry model?

is Blam good for heavy metal & edm?
They do have entry level line called the express. We didn’t go over that those are very basic type speakers still good but in that $150 range.
@@Maddoxxx entry model is express i thing, relax is second. i listen mostly to edm and pretty bass heavy music. they took that with no problem atd all. thanks to low impedance and high sensitivity they are louder compared to other brands on same HU or amp. i have 6,5" version and they can get pretty low for components.

Guy doesn’t mention the “Express” line of speakers? Is there much difference between those and the “Relax” line? The Express ones are available in the UK for about £30 less for a pair. I was wondering which ones to buy? Thanks.

You should do a review of Image Dynamics and their CXS lineup.
Image dynamics was such a good brand in the 90s. They still have keep the heritage up in their higher end equipment. We will look into those suggestions. Thanks for the comment !
I'm currently looking for either 6x9" components, or 6.5" components. I was about to purchase the Focal ES 165KX2 components, until I stumbled on this video. Please tell me which is their flagship 6.5" or 6x9" component model? I listen to Hip Hop/Rap heavy bass music. Really need to know what their best model/line is so I can buy ASAP.
Ok BLAM doesn’t make their higher end speakers in 6x9. And to my knowledge focal doesn’t either. 6x9 is an American/ Japanese size so most euro brands don’t focus on that so 6.5 is going to be your best bet. Ok the best speakers BLAM makes are the S165 M2 Mg. Let me tell you after we cut this video one of our sales guys installed them in his car and they are without a doubt the best tweeter I’ve ever heard!!! What Guy said in this video about them is correct. The magnesium tweeters are accurate but not harsh. he described them as “sweet” in the video and I never heard that word used when talking about a tweeter but it is true! Now they are more then the Focal KX2s but worth every penny! Give us a ring if you’re interested in learning more about them. Ask for Jakob he’s the one that has them installed in his car.
Very cool video, congratulations! One question... Nowadays I see a lot of people using these “Blam” brand speakers. I visited the Blam website and saw that they currently work with these lines of car speakers: Express, Live, Relax, Signature and Signature Multix. Is there much difference between the sound identity delivered by each of these lines? How do you decide, for example, whether in a project you will use the “Express” line or the “Live” or “Relax” line? Does it depend on the customer's statement and the type of music they say they listen to?
It really depends on there budget because besides the live and signature line they’re a big gap between the two. But between the live and signature line, the difference is if a person is looking for more fidelity than volume the signature is all the way to go and if they’re looking for more volume and the is the way to go OK hope that helps.
Relax series at 2 ohm.Are they difficult to play with the head unit only?
Yes 2ohms need amplifier that could match them. Adding small class d amp is good enough. Adding small dsp with built in amp definitely better choice for overall sound quality
I have the Signature speakers in my 2016 Honda Accord, I wanted to know if Blam made home audio speakers?

I installed the Blam 165.80 two way set and I have been impressed. On my other car installing Blam 165.80 woofer and the upper end signature tweeter.
