  • My DiResta GIANT Razors… Now LIVE HERE: imakeny.com/products/diresta-...
Here I make a latex mold of an oversized aluminum push pin. Each layer of latex is completely dry before the next layer is added. The Mold is left to dry for at least a 24 hours. I made the push pin on my South Bend lathe a couple years ago.

Every video that I watch makes me more and more envious of your skill... and your shop, being a student with only a part time job I only have a hammer drill and a few fastening sets (screwdrivers, wrenches...) and the one leather tool
I would love to be able to make anything half as decent as any of your stuff from scratch

Just start getting tools as you need them. Garage and estate sales are great places to get good tools also!! I started myself about 12 years ago needing to do the brakes on my Corolla. Got just enough to do that job. Was cheaper to get the tools, rotors and pads than to have someone else do it. Then I could do it every time myself. Now I have a garage full of tools and am still looking for more!

Soap is one way to prevent latex from sticking to it self, but talcum powder is way better, since you only need to use it once...

  • @Doc_Fartens

I don't understand the point of the soap on the outside. Surely that'd just make it slippery in the hands and harder to remove the pins?
