I use millets regularly at home! They do give the fluffiest idlies and perfect dosas! Love how you have served the dosas crisp and with masala! Looks very tempting
Dosa looks so crispy.. never made dosa with fermented barnyard millets batter though make it the instant way.. will definitely try it next whenever I plan to make Dosa.
I am going to try and get this Millet grain and try the Dosa , I like how crispy the Dosa have turned out , they look super tasty and I like the colour you have achieved.😍
If you are staying in a hot weather condition area say like in India, you can add salt after fermentation especially in summers! You can also add it before but, not leave it too long for fermentation. But, if yo stay in a cold country like in my case, adding salt before will aid better & quicker fermentation....That's the difference! Hope this helps!
Hello and thank you for your recipes. I followed this recipe exactly, left it in the oven with the light on for 12 hours and it didn’t ferment at all. What am I doing wrong??

May be it was not warm enough...try leaving it for extra 2 to 3 hours!
Can we avoid poha
Yes… it might not give fluffy idlis.. this batter can be used for idli & Dosa!
