Let's be honest, the Renault driver is probably more experienced and confident than the guy in the GT3. With equally experienced (skilled?) drivers, the GT3 would walk away. The Megane is seriously impressive, but let's not get too carried away about this video meaning too much. This is a track day, where skills and experience vary hugely.
Very good driving. But the seat and body position is wrong. You have to get a little closer to the driving wheel and your body have to be more vertical. After that you will drive faster and more accurate.
Very impressive. Just got a megane 275 trophy on tuesday. Really impressed with the car in a short time.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Go watch Misha (professional) driving a GT4 with its mirrors full by a Megane RS (in Nurbur).
sadly the porsche owner is another example of a slower driver, in a faster car. Holding people up in the bends, then blasting away in the straights.

Can only give credit to the factory, it is a bone stock Cup-S with factory ohlins dampers, only mods are brake pads/fluid and R888-R.
@@lowesters What pads did you decide on in the end? I'm debating what to put on mine.
@@1061shrink1061 I have always run PFC Z rated pads front and currently have Blue stuff in the rears.

cadwell is not the best layout for the porsche. Go to silverstone and see the difference.

Factory fitted Ti Akrapovic with stock cat still in place.

Properly drive Megane RS. It was matching the Porsche in the corners.
