yeah, with the lyric part of ''knows not where he's going to'', and others. Sometimes very simple, plain stuff can get you reflective. We should reflect more. Humans should think twice in many occasions.

@@papercup2517 Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup... ...Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box. Lennon was a genius.
I read Lennon said he had been trying to come up with a new song but couldn't, took a nap, woke up and this whole song was there. By the way they wrote/recorded this and Revolver in one year. Plus singles.
Stop!!! You said the exact same thing that I never thought but felt. It’s a song that makes you happy and sad at the same time! Love you guys so much! ❤
One of my favorite Beatle's song. I remember when it first came out and I was only 14 and how the lyrics and harmony were just so beautiful and moving. They were such a wonderful part of my teen years and made it better.
@@Mal1234567 Another great song in its own merit, uses odd chords that aren’t usually used in pop/rock songs as well as the use of the mellotron on the intro, not to mention the key changes that aren’t heard anymore.
@@TheBeatlesMan96 One thing though that bothers me about that song (besides Yoko’s singing) is the jarring transition from the beautiful intro to the lyric “Hey, Bungalow Bill.” I’ve heard this sort of transition done much better in other songs such as the one between Eruption and You Really Got Me.
I'm 63 so I've known this most of my life, but even today I hear new things in Beatles' songs - here it's how Paul's bass keeps everything chugging along so nicely. Yeah, happy - E major is such a happy key - but the A to A minor (making all his nowhere plans) is sooooooo sad
This was a great album that has been almost pushed under the rug and even ignored. Some of their best lyrical songs and talent as song writers are on here. Listen real good.
That was a radio perfect single. Shimmering and brilliant, the Beatle harmonies, gorgeous new Strat tones, and Paul's little high up there cinematic closing line. I paid fifty cents which included tax at the local radio and appliance store for this single, which had the came cover as the Beatles For Sale album. Incidentally the Byrds song "Turn, Turn, Turn" had just previously been out with its nice harmonies and 12-string electric sound, which was influencing the Beatles, whom they'd been imitating. It's well worth a listen. The Byrds were a monumental American band in that era.
The stuff they did the longer they were together was excellent. One of my favorite albums is The Beatles Love. George Harrison & George Martin re mastered some songs & talked Cirque Du Soleil into creating a show for that album. Was lucky enough to see it in Vegas 🥰
One of my favorite Beatles songs! When I first heard it, I couldn’t believe they were that good! The way it’s sung and played, it’s so well written, it’s just a masterpiece
I told you guys a few days ago, the perfect song and perfect performance, it's just beautiful on every level. This one and "Here Comes The Sun" are my top two favorite Beatles songs ever. John stated in his last big interview with Playboy that this one and "Help" were his two favorite Beatles tracks that he wrote because "They were real, they were what I was feeling at the time and are just as relevant to me now in 1980 as they were in 1965 when I wrote them". My favorite line in the song is " He's as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see" I bet every human that has ever lived on this planet has been guilty of that from time to time. Just seeing what we want to see. This song hits me because aren't we all a "Nowhere Man" from time to time? "Isn't he a bit like you and me?" Peace ❤❤
when they were in their 20's writing songs for all us old people looking back... they were just genious kids writing wise beyound their years... thanks for this one guys👍
Nowhere Man was the Beatles first political song (John wrote it about himself), signaling their transformation from insanely popular to insanely innovative and influential. Rubber Soul is the start of that journey, and I hope you see/hear how pivotal it is for the Beatles. Sgt Pepper is the pinnacle of that journey--please do it next. All the best!
Great song! I just love Paul's bass playing, his tone, his groove is always fun, almost funky. Ringo had a drum roll moment on the snare, George on lead guitar, and John's vocals, amazing!
Hendrix on one side, Ali on the other, with the Beatles in the middle. 6 of my heroes on one screen at the same time? You can't beat that with a stick. Good stuff, guys.
In my top three Beatles tracks, just because of the harmonies. These guys had a true, unique gift for blending their voices and sounding perfect. I could tell La was delving into the words almost from the opening. John Lennon's insecurities are wide open here. At the height of their popularity he is all alone and nowhere.
George is forgotten so much but he was the master in their harmonies and plus George’s guitar playing is the glue that keeps these songs so tight and delightful to listen to
Agreed Christopher ❗ But now that La & Che are showcasing the Beatles the past month...notice how many people give BIG PROPS to George ❗ Lots of people knew his greatness. His TV interviews also show his intelligence, articulation of being Beatle and overall great human being. R.I.P.
Yes, George was perhaps underrated at the time, as all the virtuoso guitar solo heroes were emerging! But over all this time, the Beatles songs remain, and his parts in them are undeniable. Especially as pop music in the present has deteriorated as badly as it has…remembering these cats that could write, play, sing in 3 part harmony live, tight af…👍
John's composition, John's voice, Paul and George harmonizing, full treble guitars, the bass lines, the drumming. That solo, the final note. And the same can be said about many Beatles songs. They were, they are, the Best.
I've heard this song so many many times, but never noticed McCartney's incredible bass lines until now. So melodic and unusual, these guys were so great!
You guys have the best reactions! Especially to The Beatles! I'm a lifelong fan of the Beatles, and can proudly say they were my first concert in 1966. Keep up the great work!
You guys are amazing & hilarious. I love your analyses of these songs & also seeing you guys joke around, relate to the songs & laugh...so fun. My favorite reaction channel, first one I check in the morning!!
After the guitar lead I saw my guy at the right side of the screen just go damn I had that same look when I heard the Beatles and a lot of these songs and especially this one like damn nobody can touch these guys why are they so damn good.
Fellas ... you're on a roll. It is such a joy to see you feel this music. So much said so elegantly. Nice catch, La, on bringing the lead guitar in so early ... Another Lennon masterpiece.
The Help! album was perhaps the start of the Beatles transformation, but Nowhere Man was where you KNEW they had turned the corner and there was no going back. Heavy song. Other than the deep lyrics, I love the lead solo, and especially the background vocals! Beautiful!
Love you guys and your honesty. I Feel exactly like you explained when it comes to this song. You know Beatles in this case hit the spot whether i like it or not. Great song
Paul's bass playing 🔥
And those melodies just keep coming.....geniuses at work.
When they say "Isn't he a bit like you and me?" it makes you reevaluate your whole life.

The genius of John Lennon.
Paul's bass is excellent in this track and very advanced for this point in rock history. Great hooks, great harmonies, great message.
Always loved Paul's bass line in this song! Great song!

Pure Lennon songwriting, he has an uncanny ability to express universal themes and questions in very few words.
This is the Beatles at the peak of their powers...between 65 and 66 they produced some of the best recordings in rock history.
nice
Rubber Soul has a special place in my heart. But Sgt.Pepper/Magival Mystery era is going to melt your brain
Yeah I can’t wait till they do those!
Some one my favourite 'deep cuts' are on Rubber Soul. 'The Word', 'Wait'. etc
