Absolutely superb Mike. Great playing. If I had 15% of your talent, I would be a happy bunny. That’s a Cool looking collection of Basses. I’m listening on my headphones and watched it on my TV earlier. Sounds Fab. I have only have one tiny observation if I may? Could the Bass be very slightly (5/10%) higher in your mixes. Would you consider Duran Duran “Save a Prayer” sometime. Thank you for sharing these cool vids 🎸
Thanks a million, Niall. I hear what you're saying about the bass mix. I do mix the bass slightly higher than it should naturally be in the mix and I'm always wary of mixing it higher, in case it would be jarring to the listener. Great idea about Save a Prayer. I did an audio recording of it several years ago, but not a video. I'll do a video of that next!
Mike Synnott Ah yea, that makes sense, it’s tricky as too much bass and it’s a car crash and I’ve done a few like that 😀. Save a Prayer would be fantastic. I’m going thru a Duran phase at the moment, love Taylor’s bass playing 🎸
