I used to play this song about 20 years ago in the band 'The Big Cheese' in London. I've always loved the bass line; it's so fluid and melodic with lovely little bluesy decorations. A really fun song to play.

Correct! I love Hungate's playing on it, but I'm pretty awful with a pick so I played it fingerstyle. Also, I left the pickups centred. If I'd been trying to properly emulate Hungate's tone, I'd at least have biased the pup balance towards the neck, but that wasn't really the point of the exercise. A fantastic bassline, and quite tricky to play smoothly. Thanks for stopping by.
