Playing through Ordner Seg in Tingsryd Church in Sweden March 23 2016 together with Musica Vitae string orchestra and pianist Jesper Olsson before a concert later in the afternoon.
On Saturday, October 31, at UTPA in Texas, I went to your concert and during and after you played Ordner Seg, I honestly felt like crying. And it takes a lot to make me cry. After your concert, I wished to have purchased Ordner Seg, but I didn't have any money. You are my living idol in music, Mr. Baadsvik. The reason I'm first chair Tuba in my school district. You are just simply phenomenal. Why I try the way I do to become better is because I strive to be like you, Mr. Baadsvik. Never stop playing. Heck, you're one of the reasons I live! And that day, at your concert, on Saturday,October 31, 2015, it was such an honor to hear you play in person.

I mentioned the song backstage before he performed it, and he proceeded to say it was inspired by light shining on a sadwhich before performing it. Beautiful tune . . . I've owned a copy for a while but never performed it. he gave me some advice when I mentioned I may be quitting playing for good - I actually did for about a year - and it was good stuff to hear. Quirky and funny, but a good guy and even better musician. maybe I should dust off the old score and give it a go
Dude. I would sell my soul for sheet music of Baadsvik's performances. And you should keep playing.

If I could hear you play this live once in my life I could die happy. I lost my passion for music for a while, I still loved it but I was lost in creating it. After hearing this I want to make someone feel even half as elated as I was hearing this for the first time
It is tough these days. We just have to keep on, what other options are there? I believe that the passion and the concerts will eventually come back

Oystein, i remember listening to your first CD years and years ago and listened to you grow musically into an amazing musician today. Most tuba players like myself hear the possibilities from a technical aspect that you bring but the musician you have become is even more impressive. Your inner line is world class. When you get a chance, ask John Williams if you can play Shindler's List, it will bring tears to your audience.

Maravilhosamente incrivel sou seu fan oystein.estudo todos os dias para chegar ao menos 10%do seu nivel .incrivel.pena que aqui no brasil nao levam a musica a serio.a cultura no brasil se desentegrou,muita briga dos governantes ,e pra rer um instrumento aqui o musoco tem que vende um rim pra paga .muito fora do normal.mas estou na luta vou ser um ou um dos brasileiros a apresentar o ordner seg como audicao.postarei aqui no face logo mais.
