i'm a lifetime baseball fan and I have to say Bo is easily the greatest athlete I've ever seen in baseball. My dad, a lifetime baseball/football fan also says Bo and Deion Sanders(even though he hates Deions personality lol) are the greatest athletes he's ever witnessed. Deion Sanders is the only guy to ever score a touchdown and score a run in baseball in the same 24 hours.
Both Bo and Deion Sanders have played in the NFL and MLB. They both are great athletes and are still alive. There's one clip where Bo actually walks a wall horizontally after catching a ball in the outfield. It's worth looking at some of his highlights.
It was kinda glossed over in this video but understand this: Bo returned to play professional baseball with an artificial hip ! How many people do you know do anything athletic with an artificial hip let alone professional sports? He ran on and slid/dove with his, looking every bit like an above average ball player. He truly was an athletic marvel !
Deion Sanders was baseball and football also. He gained notoriety by being the only person to hit a homerun in baseball, and score a touchdown in football during the same week.
There’s been a handful of guys to play in both the NFL and MLB but Bo was the only one to be an allstar in both and Deion Sanders is the only one to play in a Super Bowl and a World Series
You need to react to Barry Sanders and Walter Payton, the two greatest running backs of all time in my opinion. No one ever ran like Barry and no one ever will, his stats are fucking insane and he was the classiest guy in the league. Low key dude, never spiked the ball, never celebrated, just quietly and humbly humiliated every defense in the league on one of the historically worst teams of all time (Detroit Lions, now experiencing a renaissance, check them out). Walter Payton was the best all-around back, there was nothing he didn't do well and was also a super classy guy. Barry's highlight reel will have you in a state of disbelief, I promise you
My favorite player when I was a kid. I cried when he got hurt . If he never got hurt . He would still be holding all major records today. Including the homerun record.
Ok, you’ve checked out Bo Jackson and Marshon Lynch. Now you have to check out Barry Sanders. He is a contrast to those two, but VERY impressive. You’ll enjoy Barry Sanders (everyone does - even opponents).
Only a small handful of athletes have played multiple sports. Bo Jackson was the greatest. Dave DeBusscherre played MLB baseball and was an NBA star between 1962-74. Michael Jordan retired from his unparalleled NBA career and tried baseball, a sport he always excelled at, but could never make it out of the minor leagues. Bo Jackson is alive and well. There are other videos on him, as you can imagine. If he'd stayed healthy, there's almost no doubt he would have been inducted into the football Hall of Fame, and he might have made it into baseball's Hall of Fame, which is much more prestigious. He's still a gentleman and a sportsman, except now he's usually out in the field, hunting deer with a bow.
Best athlete ever in the history of humans. 6'1", 235 lbs, ran a 40 yard dash in 4.13 seconds (that's not a typo) and strong as an ox. Oh, yes, and he played a bit of baseball, too. :) (and track)
A lot of boys grow up playing football (American), baseball & basketball. There’s players in the MLB & NFL that were drafted in both sports but there’s no way a team will allow their player to play another professional game - too much money involved! Philadelphia Eagles WR, AJ Brown, was drafted to the San Diego Padres and in his contract it stipulates he can’t play baseball… even if he teases that he’s thinking about it.
As everyone knows in his tv advertisement, Bo Knows! Until he was injured, he played in pro sports at the highest level well in two sports. Few do so, even fewer do it well. Basketball great Michael Jordan played pro baseball in the minor leagues, but never made it to Major League Baseball. Just attempting to do it suggest being a great athlete, capable of playing two or more sports. Michael Jackson retired from basketball to concentrate on baseball, then retired from baseball to resume his basketball career. He played one sport at a time, Bo played both at the same time. But it also takes great talent to do well in both. Well, Michael had great talent for basketball, but not for baseball.
Kansas City loved him as a baseball player because he played for the home team Royals and hated him as a football player because he played for the rival Raiders. Only guy you could root for and boo in the same breath. Jim Thorpe is the Greatest Athlete of All Time in my book.
For those not familiar with yards, there is lot of talk thrown around football players. They often say a guy has 4.2 speed, in the 40 yard dash, and usually it's not true, or they ran just under 4.3. As an example, Tyreek Hill ran a 4.29, and he is the fastest guy in the NFL, most likely, or near it. Bo running a 4.1 and change, is absurd for any human, let alone one built like a truck and weighing probably 230 lbs or more. You don't even need to be that fast, as a RB, to be honest.
Thiere is a much better video from Bored Films about Bo Jackson. And as far as American athletes based putely on athletic ability my top 5 are 1 Bo Jackson 2 Deion Sanders 3 Roy Jones Jr. 4 Michael Jordan 5 Randy Moss And this is just the guys I've seen in my lifetime. I know guys like Jim Brown and Jackie Robinson and Muhammad Ali are all spectacular but i wasnt around when they were doing their thing.
Deion Sanders played NFL and MLB. Michael Jordan was an all time great in NBA, and just a guy in MLB. Bo knows that Bo was an all-star in both the NFL and MLB. I have no doubt that he could have excelled in several sports, soccer, track, cycling, and more.
Deion Sanders played pro baseball, as a second sport. I don't know of another player like BO, who played football part time. Two sport pro athletes are incredibly rare obviously, let one all star level players like those two.
Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Brian Jordan and D.J. Dozier all play both sports at the same time.. with DJ lasting the least amount of time in the MLB.. but Bo did it first.
Love your content, another NFL player you have to see highlights of is BARRY SANDERS. 🔥 Trust me on this, you have to see him in action- even if don’t make content specifically about him… just watch and enjoy for the entertainment factor, you WILL be entertained ⚡️
Doubtful a two-sport athlete will happen again anytime soon, if ever. Mahomes could probably be a MLB pitcher though. Greatest athlete of all time is Jim Thorpe.
Boz vs Bo is the most over blown play of all time. If that play was at mid field, it's a tackle and a 4 yard gain. Plus, The Boz was damaged goods on draft day, and had no chance of ever being a great NFL player. But everyone just likes the hype of the match up, so here we are. That goal line play wouldn't make Marshawn Lynch's top 50.
@@ChatwinReacts for me Barry sanders, Walter Payton, ladanian Tomlinson Jim brown emmit smith, Adrian Peterson o.j Simpson, frank gore, Rodger Craig, earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson

Ill 100% be checking them out

Bo Jackson could have been an olympic short distance sprinter, his acceleration is truly unmatched by anyone of his size in history
his 4.12 is still the record by a tenth of a second
thanks for clarifying
And they run the 40 yard dash in full playing gear.
I’ve been watching football & baseball for almost 50 years now & he’s by far the best athlete I’ve ever seen.
I grew up watching him and by far, the greatest athlete I ever saw
Deion Sanders was baseball and football also. He gained notoriety by being the only person to hit a homerun in baseball, and score a touchdown in football during the same week.

Need to watch Dion Sanders , played both baseball and American football
I'm going to need you to create a t-shirt that says, "I'm not gonna pause too many times" 😛
Put him in both halls of fame. Nobody cares about career numbers, when discussing a super human.

Ill check them out thanks for the suggestions

Love your new channel; all the success to you!
Thanks!!!
I actually live directly across the street from Bo’s high school, McAdory High school, funny enough
Besides Deion and Bo, Brian Jordan also played both major league baseball and professional football.

can’t forget danny ainge and his blue jays run hahah
@@lukabern Yep. I still have his 82 Donruss card..lol
If you read his book that’s not how he got his nickname. It was because he had a stutter and Bo was easier to say than Vincent.
Check out javy baez when he played for the Cubs his nickname was el mago(the magician)
Ill put it on the list thanks for the suggestion
I would recommend reacting to 10 nfl players responsible for rule changes that seems interesting.
"Bo Knows"!!!!

Why do they keep showing Herschel Walker (Cowboys) highlights?
No is simply the best!
Sport is ritualized warfare, as noted by the comment that "The Battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton."
Bo Jackson- super bo (remastered) video
Nobody gonna say anything about all the Hershel Walker footage being shown as Bo Jackson footage?
yes MJ played baseball but it was for a AA minor league team.
Dion sanded played 2 sports

Deon Sanders was another one that did football and baseball and was good at both. Jordan wasnt good at baseball haha. but he is the goat of basketball
Deion Sanders

Best athlete of all time? I would say it’s a toss up between him and Wilt Chamberlain
Wilt Chamberlain is someone ill be taking a look at to
for someone who is "not gonna pause all the time" you sure as shit do...
That’s cool my G
Jordan played in the minor leagues in baseball and he wasn’t very good at it

Definitely not the goat runningback, not even top 20.
can you list me some you think are better that i could do some videos on please?
