She had a brief reality show on TLC (I think it was TLC) in 2016 and it was mentioned that she had lost her ability to sing for awhile and talking had become a struggle because she had been carrying so much stress for so many years & survival mode was on overdrive. When she discovered Mutt Lange had been cheating with her best friend for several years that was the tip of the iceberg pretty much. Shania had worked hard for success but Mutt produced the album that pushed her into stardom and recognition, plus they got married. He essentially became a pivotal figure in her life and empire. Discovering his infidelity, who he chose plus the # of years it was happening caused Shania to crack but at least she didn't break.
Another thing that probably triggered her brief inability to sing was the emotional connection that Mutt once had to Shania's voice. Mutt stated that Shania's voice was the only female singing voice that brought tears to his eyes. That's a pretty powerful statement & no doubt coming from the man you love could make you feel more empowered to sing. When she realized he no longer felt that way unfortunately it took away that empowerment until she found a way to get it back.
@@michellegriff13 Shania's voice issue came from being bitten by a tick that gave her lymes disease that affected the nerves in her vocal chords. Her voice will never be what it was but through therapy & the love & support of those close to her she regained confidence & through her never say die attitude she has fought back. She is a fighter & a survivor. Always has been & always will be. While she struggles with her voice on her earlier hit songs & can't hit those high notes like she used to, her NOW album & her deeper voice the songs & their meanings are equally beautiful. She is pure class, pure talent, pure beauty with a pure soul. Love her to bits. John from New Zealand :)

But the host was able to gather good answers. Although the way she presented the questions may have been seemingly off the cuff, it helped allow Shania to bring her guard down and answer honestly. Answers regarding a fundamental value she holds (forgiveness), an outside of work passion (architecture - who knew!), and a prominent personality trait (shyness). The Howard Stern Show also has a similar format and it's known for its candid interviews with celebrities.

Honestly, she's still a gorgeous woman, but she lost some of her natural beauty when she got face fillers and you can tell. Maybe it's just inflammation from the Lyme disease, in that case, there's nothing she can do, but I do believe she got fillers before she went back on tour in 2015. If you watch her docu-series "Why Not with Shania Twain" in 2010 her face was starting to thin out ever so slightly which is natural for women aging (particularly Caucasian women of Western European descent), but my mother has the same thing and I think it makes older women look very attractive and pretty. Now she blew her cheeks out so much, her head looks like a balloon on certain days. It just makes me sad to think of aging, but I love how she has her confidence back and is doing what she loves by making music and sharing it with others.

I truly love Shania for ages and the whole lot of my love was for her exceptional beauty. I do understand it's not easy to have a face like that and see it aging. But she should stop now. Her face shape already changed from oval to round, she lost her dimples and her skin is tighter than a drum.

She is not doing nothing weird to her face. Even her body changed and gained some weight, so it is obvious that her face suffers the same change. In a lot of recents pictures with almost no make up, her face looks like always, her factions are the same. Her nose, her lips, her cheeks. I even compared some pictures with old pictures and it looks the same (with more age). She changes a lot depending on make up. But there is a change that is natural. I can not confirm the use of fillers, but even her dimples are there, I doubt about fillers too. Look at the picture with Madonna in this very same video, and you`ll see her cheeks and her dimples are the same as in the interview. In any case, she is not destroying her face at all. She doesn´t like unnatural stuff and always said it. Note aside, the Lyme desease may have an effect too, because affected her vocal nerves so easily can affect other facial nerves too.
And who cares? She is gorgeous. This video is the prove, Anyone who consider that she doesn´t look amazing is blind. Nothing weird in her face, just more years. Her personalitty and life experience, her humor and how humble and down to earth she is, is what makes her even more beautiful

But she also said that is enjoyimg life like never before, so I`m sure she is not obsesive about her body like in the old times. Wow Shania Twain is very humble, very inspirational. Not saying that cause of her celebrity but more of the person behind the whole Shania stage persona. I love her music and everything she does and stand for, is so inspirational. I love how she said, she will love to be ask, "If She is ok." I can so relate to her, cause Alot of times, some of us, try to be positive with a smile, so the world looking at us, think we are ok but sometimes that may not be the case. Even though they ask "How are u?" But it's not genuine sometimes with certain people. They just ask, and so it's normal. Amazing questions, this was amazing to get to know a little more about Shania. She is very cool, down to earth.

Ok let me first start off by saying there were some rough comments under this video. Some focused on her looks and some focused on her bring a Trump supporter. I will be honest, I wasn't exactly thrilled when I heard about her standing on Trump. When you get down to it I am not following her for political reasons. I am following her because her songs have been some of the most memorable moments and times in my life. She is responsible for bringing a lot of people happiness the world over! 😊 😀 😁
I will never be able to forget that. As for her looks I thought she looked lovely. Some commented that she doesn't look quite like she did 20 years ago or she had fillers put in her face. To be honest none of us look as we did 20 years ago. I am happy to see her taking care of herself inside and out. She obviously has her own personal struggles to get through as the rest of us.
I admire her willingness to move forward and grow from her situations. It is very inspiring! At the end of our lives the question won't be how great did we look... The question will be what kind of person were we?
