  • Jordan Belfort came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he spoke about how his story was portrayed in the Hollywood film “Wolf of Wall Street,” with Leonardo DiCaprio portraying him. Jordan spoke about his upbringing in Queens with both parents being accountants, but Jordan had an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age that led to several business ventures that funded his college. Jordan then spoke about deciding to be a trainee stockbroker, which led to a conversation about penny stocks and him starting his own company, Stratton Oakmont. During the conversation, Jordan also spoke about being investigated and later indicted for securities fraud and money laundering in 1999. Jordan was later sentenced to four years, and he spoke about sharing a cell with “Cheech and Chong” actor Tommy Chong, who encouraged him to write a book about his life. After leaving prison, a bidding war started for the film rights to his book, which later went to Martin Scorsese. Jordan spoke about the making of “Wolf of Wall Street,” and he also shared his thoughts on real estate, Grant Cardone, bitcoin, and stocks, which you can hear about in the full interview above.

Belfort is telling all these charismatic gripping stories yet every time it goes back to the interviewer he is simply met with the most dull deflating "ok... you then went and did x....". My god man how can you take all the air out of the moment and replace it with emptiness like that, repeatedly.

Jordan Belfort is a prime example of a man capitalizing on every situation in any way he can. Much can be learned from his mentality despite his shortcomings. I am fascinated by people who are always thinking about the next move. If you take the time to listen you can learn from their approach. I realize that people like the Wolf on Wall Street are very disagreeable & will not take no for an answer. Great interview!

Kinda wish Jordan showed him what a shitty interviewer he was and just walked out.
Vlad legit sucks at asking questions and just interviewing in general. It literally sounds like he’s reading questions he printed off the internet.
Vlad trying to make Jordan look like a piece of shit when Jordan again and again is saying he was wrong and repaid his debt to society in time and a shit load of money.
If Vlad didn’t have the guess’s on that he did, no one would watch these shitty questions.
He doesn’t even create a conversation, he just moves from question to question like a fucking robot.

Jordan Belford admitted to wrong-doing multiple times, and pointed out that the 110 million he allegedly owed was laughed out of court and owed by several other people also… yet Vlad keeps asking him the same leading question with slight variations as it didn’t paint the narrative he wanted and wonders why Jordan got irritated?

    • @KenKaniffFromConnecticut

Well, he’s making money now and is essentially flaunting his wealth all over social media… he has victims to pay back that he stole from! He ruined many families! He should be paying these people back! Yes, he did his time, but his time served doesn’t mean that his debts are wiped away! Also, as part of his plea deal, I believe that he agreed to pay them back! He is still doing shady business deals today, and has taken some of his businesses out of the United States in order to hide his true income! Overall, this man did a lot of damage, and he’s still doing scummy stuff today! Maybe it will catch up to him someday, and karma will take care of Mr. Belfort! 😉🤔

Even if that is the way it is there is no need to get upset about it. I see your point and I have seen examples of interviewers being very persistent on a narrative that just isn't there and not really listening to the answers they receive. This was not all that bad, just a little heated.
